In case it wasn't mentioned, when you take Drake as Noc, if you time your w to coincide with getting hit by the Drake, you'll proc it so you get the effect from it.

I've got a question for you @perryjg. Do you think you need a certain type of jungler to climb and master or can any jungler do? Also, is it worth learning a champ like Lillian that is more technical but has a much higher skill ceiling on her?
I am not perryjg but I have seen lots of other high elo player answer this question: In low elo champion mastery is the most important aspect, so play what you like as long as you are consistent. Dont play lilia and 10 other champs. But if you want to onetrick her than thats a perfect way to climb. But beware. The game is complicated. If you play a technical champions while sucking at basic concepts it will not be very fun at first. The good thing with easy champs like nocturne is that after 3-5 games you have his mechanics down and you can focus on actually playing the game and improving. If you need like 100 games to play lilia correctly you will not be climbing for a while... But if you think it is worth it because you want to play her then do it. You will still climb way faster than if you switch every few months. Also you will be climbing faster than if you settle for an easier champion that you not very passionate about. When there is no joy in playing you will just play less and less over time and playing is always better for improvementthan not playing (except if you just rage after every game), so pick what you like to play
Hey perry! Been watching your content lately and it really helped me a lot getting better as a jg in plat elo. Do you play rengar? I'd love to watch and learn from your vids on how to be better at playing rengar
Nono, invading is what got me past silver elo, i am not Emerald... It made games 10 times easier to win, I got way ahead of the junglers most of the time
Man it's weird to hear you talk about being upset at the Ashe, but also take 2 of his waves xD Like I understand, it's clear that player is worse but when you're taking waves right in front of his face, we shouldn't be surprised that he's running it. Would he still have died even with those 2 waves? I mean probably, but I'm sure taking them doesn't help his mental. Also for a video on low elo, I really don't think we should be pushing the narrative that it's okay for the jungler to consume laner's minions, at least not right in their face....
Agreed 100%. Didn't really sit well with me even as a Jungler main (well who tf am I to say, I'm Iron IV and new to this game kekw) to steal my laner's camps unless those resources are going to waste by ally towers obliterating them. That said, I might have missed it or am wrong but I think perryjg isn't directly 'pushing that narrative', but irregardless it can be said some viewers might get that idea and think to themselves "hey if perryjg does it, I should too".
the idea behind taxing the wave is that if a player has proven themselves to be incapable of playing well and/or intentionally throwing the game/feeding then those resources are better spent on whatever player in the game is controlling the game to help them snowball further ahead, its also worth evening out gold on ganks by taking cs if you only get an assist on the laner's kill, (300g Kill, 150g Assist) so that you are compensated for your time spent ganking and dont fall behind the enemy jungler because of getting less gold for your time spent ganking, TLDR: for gamestate taxing is generally ok in moderation, for teammate mental, bronzies literally tilt over everything so anything you do is wrong anyways, might as well get your item sooner

i dont know if your tips are good for all the champs.. i think its easy with broken champs that win 1v1 easy and have a decent full clear.. i cant imagine a world where i can climb playing any jungle champion
very well played... I find it interesting that you ganked 5 times successfully in the first ten minutes. seems like the "go for camps and objectives" is a very loose structure that can often be deviated from if you want to win more games. after getting drake and level 6 off krugs why go in for a Gank? why not back... mid roaming never happens for me at 7 mins... this seems like its against everything you try to teach?(tho was obviously the right play) very much seemed like playing for kills... but obviously with the quality of the gank it wasn't a flip. I just think its hard to tell when you respect the "I have a ton of gold I should back" or the " this play looks good even though im rich right now" my last few games I think I haven't been ranking enough,
it's hilarious that you're proving silver is harder than challenger! your coaching style has helped me improve a ton at the game. what keeps it fun is seeing my personal progress because MMR is simply EOMM and lower ELOs have the heaviest team mates you can imagine. i used to play every season to high gold or plat. i took a few seasons off. came back and was put in iron cause i guess decay? iron has been harder than any elo i've ever played due to simply having to win 4v5s to climb out. sometimes a 4v5 isn't worst case scenario. at least in a 4v5 the biggest loser is gone rather than feeding nonstop.
