Not sure the value, but at work one day, and the owners niece walked in and wanted two silver spoons chopped off, so she could make a ring. I volunteered for that task in a hurry and ended up with the heavy end of two small silver spoons. Been years and I actually forgot about them. Thanks for the reminder!
My #1 is world BU 1-oz coins ... The basic low premium stuff (Maples, Britannias, Philharmonics, Krugerrands, and Kangaroos). They're always much cheaper than ASEs if you shop smartly. Everyone recognizes them. I find them to be far and away the best value. Compare the buy vs sell spreads at the online dealers and you'll see!
Great video. But aren't you worried about the blemish of handling them. Do you clean them up everytime you touch them. Just getting into silver stacking. Your information is very helpful. Thank you-Zack
Great video my friend. Living down south, I would personally leave Maples in your #7 grouping. It is probable the 2nd most recognizable BU coin for Americans to collect however, they have had serious product issues over the last few years. Maybe that has changed in 2019. Not sure. Over the last year, I personally have put more weight into ASE, poured silver, silver bars, 90% , and finally world BU (mostly Australia). Regardless...You can't go wrong either way. stacking is stacking. :)
@DebbyAbqNM Growing up in the 80's and 90's, Englehard was the only silver bars I thought was made for a long time instead of various rounds and coins.
@DebbyAbqNM It really has only been in the last 10years that I ever saw bullion bars that werent Engelhard. It actually was a bit of a shock to find this world of "generic" minted bars thanks to the internet. I and my family still buy about 90% Engelhard for a couple reasons...1)we know them and feel comfortable with them...2)they carry serial numbers and therefore easy to document and sell when necessary. We have always bought from coin dealers and jewery stores until maybe a couple years ago. Im suprised you would have trouble finding info on Engelhard silver. Might give Thacker's jewerly in Lubbock a shout or Texas Precious Metals over in Shiner a shout about info and liquidation options. I would imagine there are lots of silver dealers in NewMexico too.
So why American Silver Eagles? Isn't a coin just a round bar that you are paying extra premium ($1-2) just because it is a coin? Not trying to be offensive, just curious. I don't really get the whole aura behind them when you can buy the same 1 oz in a bar form for $0.70 over spot.
Nice video I stack all 10 on your list plus gold for every 20 oz of silver I get 3 to 5 grams of gold Depending on spot silver baggins do u stack gold love to see some videos from u about gold keep up the good work love your poor videos
My top five are 1 - Constitutional, 2 - Canadian Wildlife series, 3 - ASEs, 4 - World Silver Coins, and 5 - Poured Silver (although I haven't gotten any yet, but I'm holding out for someone's 3000 GAW prize ;-) )
Precious metals are measured in Troy oz. One Troy oz is 31.1 grams. Every one ounce coin is 31.1 grams. Pandas are only 30 grams. Therefore less than one ounce.
But only for americans ;) unfortunately, the premiums and the €/$ ratio makes them quite expensive here in germany. So for me it´s rather Philharmonics, ArcheNoah or Maples.
Always handle your silver with gloves! If it's not in a capsule. You should know that. Otherwise you will have tarnished silver. And those nice older Libertads will not look good. Gloves gloves gloves
Hey Baggins, wanted to let you know i posted my first video if you wanted to check it out. Gonna do another one this week. Got quit a bit of mail coming. Special one when my freed dragon comes in as well. Thanls for sharing
@@SilverDragons47 im am dutch we have 72% guilders but damm thats a lot of extra room! especially when you have like 140oz of it instead of 140oz of americain 90% 😅

I like your list. I like constitutional silver and silver eagles, simply because counterfeiting is a federal crime.
mr1mow Thanks a lot and yes those are some of my favorites as well!!! 🔥🐉
11. Not my typical thing, but proof coins, slabbed coins, or high numismatic value coins?
Silver Heist yeah good options for sure! I typically don’t like proofs or slabbed so they didn’t make the list 🔥🐉
The more diverse the better! It's all good! Great Video! US!
Undefined Silver yes for sure and thanks so much!!! 🔥🐉
Love this dude! His intro “silver baggins” and his outro“silver baggins”

I love the trade unit silver rounds, but it seems they command a premium now. I’ve searched all the dealers..unless you can suggest one? Great vid
Eli yeah seems like people like those! I have only ever seen them in my LCS generic pile 🔥🐉
Silver Baggins Thanks!
I would put 10 above 9 for sure!
Is it true the Silver Maples tend to milk spot?

Very nicely done!
Creekside Cubing Thanks so much! many more videos to come!!! 🔥🐉
The problem with the ASEs is in a situation where you need to use silver for barter they don’t even say that they are silver on the coin.
On the reverse of coin.
Awsome vid
Enjoyed watching. Take care.

Frankly would of thought steering would of been higher up the list based on it having the highest content of silver out there.
Silver Heist lol I don’t have any silver spoons 😏🔥🐉
That is what I mean 🤣 you don’t have any spoons *now*! Barnabas took your silver spoons.
I think they don't make the Archangel anymore. I don't know why.
Chris Garner yeah they still do but the mintage is low and premiums are high 🔥🐉
Silver Baggins really? There are 2019 coins? I got to pick one up soon.
Chris Garner mine is a 2018 but i’m sure there are 2019 by now 👍🏽🔥🐉
Just a note, you said the Chinese pandas were less than 1oz of silver, but 30g is 1.058 oz of silver so it’s actually more

I just want to be a pirate.
Also, was that a "hug time" trolls ring tone at around 8:50 ?

newheavyion yeah that makes sense for you! 🔥🐉
My very first purchase was 120 1gram bars.........HUGE mistake. I'm gonna send them to you so you can melt them.
I don't get the fetish over poured silver bars.
E Squared each one is unique and tells a story... I like em 🔥🐉
Ditto. Just stick to sovereign coins and be done. There's enough variation within that category to keep yourself satisfied.
Noiyce buddy thumbs to sky

Appalachian Stackin' Awesome I saw it!!! pour is on its way my friend 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 saweet!!' Thank you my friend👊
It's pointless to collect anything under 90% I detect a lot and 40% silvers I put back into circulation
ASE are the most counterfeited silver coin ever. Plus the most expensive with the highest Premium.
So no for me.
Sorry I missed it.
Karen Jessup it’s all good it was impromptu 👍🏽🔥🐉
Silver :-)
Backyard Scrapping lol silver is where it’s at 😁🔥🐉
First
Alex Coin Roll Hunter You got it!! 🔥🐉
