My #1 is world BU 1-oz coins ... The basic low premium stuff (Maples, Britannias, Philharmonics, Krugerrands, and Kangaroos). They're always much cheaper than ASEs if you shop smartly. Everyone recognizes them. I find them to be far and away the best value. Compare the buy vs sell spreads at the online dealers and you'll see!
Great video. But aren't you worried about the blemish of handling them. Do you clean them up everytime you touch them. Just getting into silver stacking. Your information is very helpful. Thank you-Zack

It actually was a bit of a shock to find this world of "generic" minted bars thanks to the internet. I and my family still buy about 90% Engelhard for a couple reasons...1)we know them and feel comfortable with them...2)they carry serial numbers and therefore easy to document and sell when necessary. We have always bought from coin dealers and jewery stores until maybe a couple years ago. Im suprised you would have trouble finding info on Engelhard silver. Might give Thacker's jewerly in Lubbock a shout or Texas Precious Metals over in Shiner a shout about info and liquidation options. I would imagine there are lots of silver dealers in NewMexico too.

It is probable the 2nd most recognizable BU coin for Americans to collect however, they have had serious product issues over the last few years. Maybe that has changed in 2019. Not sure. Regardless...You can't go wrong either way. stacking is stacking. :)

Precious metals are measured in Troy oz. One Troy oz is 31.1 grams. Every one ounce coin is 31.1 grams. Pandas are only 30 grams. Therefore less than one ounce.

So why American Silver Eagles? Isn't a coin just a round bar that you are paying extra premium ($1-2) just because it is a coin? Not trying to be offensive, just curious. I don't really get the whole aura behind them when you can buy the same 1 oz in a bar form for $0.70 over spot.
Always handle your silver with gloves! If it's not in a capsule. You should know that. Otherwise you will have tarnished silver. And those nice older Libertads will not look good. Gloves gloves gloves
But only for americans ;) unfortunately, the premiums and the €/$ ratio makes them quite expensive here in germany. So for me it´s rather Philharmonics, ArcheNoah or Maples.
