I know this game was not essential, and I am not a coach basher, but someone should ask Coach if she is aware how many time-outs they have per half, and whether she is aware she can use challenges when needed? She needs to use those as a strategy, esp when one of her players seems hurt, call a TO and check things out!

If the Fever win a game and take it to 3 that will be a successful season. With couple ofnoff season moves they should win atleast one series next year. The team will hit the ground running next season. Just hope the schedule is a little better at the start than it was this year.

The longer the Fever remain in the playoffs, the more paying fans and TV will be cashed in. Watch what happens if/when the Fever are eliminated. All the interest will wane dramatically. The REALITY is that if any “fixing” is being done, a league worth being called a league would make sure the Fever make the finals.

I can honestly say I had never watch a WNBA game until about 3-4 weeks ago. Every game I have seen has had Catlin in it. She does bring a high energy level that is contagious. She has a high basketball IQ for sure. All the missed "CRIB" shots in general is very infuriating to watch for sure. You would think for people that have played as much basketball as all these women have they should not miss those easy shots. I am exited for the city and hope to see the Fever do well over the next years.

I did not even know women had their own league until Bill Burr talked about it and hopefully the league continues to expand and grow with more teams springing up in different cities.
It's not just Indiana. Actually 4,5,6 seats are dangerous. The Aces are probably the team to beat. And the Storm facing them 1st is going to be a great game. Williams was a great pick -up. And 4 of those Aces liked to have lost to her at the Olympics. Every day she plays with the Storm they become more dangerous. This could become a really good game . And the Lynx may find themselves in a fight with Phoenix. Round 1 could be as exciting as the All Stars beating the Olympic team. This is Taurasi's last season I would imagine. She will most likely give it all she has. And inspire her teammates. It really comes down to the refs, and we probably all agree they suck.
I don't think they have a good chance of knocking off Connecticut. CT is one of the top 4 teams in the league. They're a tough defensive team and the Fever still have a lot of defensive issues and sometimes offensive ones. I think at best they win one game.
If Coach Sides can just allow her floor general CC to keep the PACE & MOMENTUM high without calling too many time outs without purpose, the Fever should compete well against the Sun. Too often Coach Sides imposes her will by poor substitution patterns and slows the pace to a crawl instead of playing at the frantic pace that the team can impose their will on the Sun but hopefully, her coaching staff will help Coach Sides be better with timeouts and substituutions. My own opinion is she has a tendency to keep CC & AB on the bench longer than needed, these are young players that can ball for all 40 minutes if needed rather than allowing the opposing team to build momentum and runs.

I started watching NBA when Jordan got drafted by the Bulls. It was a fluke occurrence. I just happen to see a highlight of him playing and it intrigued me enough to keep watching. The same thing happened with CC. I never paid attention to WNBA at all. Before her my only introduction to the league was Bill Burrs bit on feminist not showing up for the games and thats why it has failed for 25 years. Also, there is a video of the best plays for the WNBA and they were just awful. I think that vid was bias against cause now after watching them play there is a lot of real talent. Can they beat a boys high school state champ heck no. And before anyone comes after me just think realistic. In order for that boys team to win a state championship they have to be big and talented on offense and defense. I just dont think the women can handle a guy who is practically in her pocket trying to steal the ball. They also cant match speed or strength or size. I would love to see one of them try and take a charge.
The Fever needs a new coach. Would Mitchel have gotten hurt if the coach hadn't made the decision to play the scrubs and play to lose going into the playoffs? Backing into the playoffs "might" work in the WDEI but rarely works in professional sports.
