Even more than Skylar's childish behavior, Quinns' unhinged, completely unprofessional call out of Sides because Sides was not quite fast enough to put in her bench for Quinn's liking just sent me packing.
CC FANS, ATTENTION: Please, get to someone who can reach Caitlin and let's somehow give her a CO-MVP trophy/award because it is highly likely the bigoted prejudice sports media want to piss on her and wont give her the earned award. Scared is probably not the right word, but they would be cautious. Regardless if teams want to admit it openly, Fever is the dark horse that could be a first round upset. They have shown, if they have their A game on and hitting shots and everything clicking, they are a real threat. Sue Bird said it best, it is hard to defend pace. Aja had a incredible season arguably one of the best of all time with 4 current Olympians around her. Clark on one of last year's worst team, with the craziest and worst playing schedule at the beginning of the year and she accomplished all that she did and the team finished a 500 team in 6th place. Fever lacks depth and a bench that can really contribute, so it will be an uphill battle for any wins they can get.

I don't think the Aces are afraid of the Fever because they match up well against them. I was actually relieved that the first round is against the Sun. Of course, being a lower seed means any opponent is going to be tough. I think that the Fever can win against any team in the playoffs, but some matchups are harder just because of how they match up. I live in the Seattle area, but the Storm have not been the same for me since Sue Bird retired (Breanna leaving in free agency was another blow). And (as a new Fever fan) I was put off by the treatment Clark got from the Storm. Of course, I will still watch the Seattle games, but the Fever are my new favorite team. I guess Seattle is just trying to stir up some controversy to get more eyeballs. It is true, though, that the Fever are a pretty tough matchup compared to their seed for the following reason: They stank at the start of the year because they had to figure out team chemistry and learn how to play together. Now that those details are worked out, their second half performance has been stellar. I am not expecting the Fever to be champions, but I hope they at least win in the first round.

I agree with coach Quinn. The Aces should want to avoid the Fever in the first round, because the Fever are getting closer to beating them the more they play them. Furthermore, the Fever was very successful at neutralizing A'ja's impact in the last game. I think the Fever has a good chance of winning it all if they can eliminate stupid mistakes and can find a way to beat the Lynx.
While I was sorry to see the dustup when the Fever played the Storm, being a Fever and a Skylar fan (I don't know what Skylar's problem was,) the game I'd like to see would be the Storm v. the Lynx. If the Storm's starting five plus Gabby off the bench are on top of their game, the Storm just might win that matchup.
The Storm were playing better pre-Gabby Williams. The team has struggled a bit since adding Williams to the line-up with her minutes eating into Horston and Whitcomb time. Horston brings a nice bit of athletic energy when she's on the floor, if they can find a way to get her more minutes during the playoffs, the team should do well. Hopefully Whitcomb's 3pt shooting picks up too, it's been off the last few weeks.
The Aces are the worst match up in the W for the Fever because they match up defensively with the Fever better than any other team. Plum has a relentless motor on defense.
The Storm is the much tougher matchup. If I'm the Aces I 100% wanted the Fever, a team they just swept. It wasn't even an option for them to choose since the Sun won. So this is whole story about nothing. But I do love the fact that the Sun wanted the Fever matchup. Lol

Did the commenters on this video not actually watch the last Aces and Fever game? Fever outplayed the Aces across the board, really. The whistles that the Aces get are incredible - even with the terrible officiating, missed free throws and a ton of missed open looks, the Fever still almost pulled it out. Fever are definitely a more dangerous team to face in the playoffs right now than the Storm. Fever are 10-5 over the last 15 (minus final game where starters sat second half) against a stronger schedule whereas Storm went 8-7 against a weaker schedule. No brainer.

Did you watch the game? The Aces didn’t beat the Fever, the referees did. There was too much on the line, and if the Fever had won, ESPN and the other major networks would’ve lost instant credibility. CC should’ve been the MVP, but what you saw was managed rigging. Did you notice all the NO foul calls and the stupid charges against CC and others ? CC had a bad shooting night because of fatigue from being held, grabbed, and pushed, and even the cameraman wasn’t showing everything. That league is corrupt.

Of course, being a lower seed means any opponent is going to be tough. I think that the Fever can win against any team in the playoffs, but some matchups are harder just because of how they match up.
I live in the Seattle area, but the Storm have not been the same for me since Sue Bird retired (Breanna leaving in free agency was another blow). And (as a new Fever fan) I was put off by the treatment Clark got from the Storm.
Of course, I will still watch the Seattle games, but the Fever are my new favorite team.
I guess Seattle is just trying to stir up some controversy to get more eyeballs.
It is true, though, that the Fever are a pretty tough matchup compared to their seed for the following reason: They stank at the start of the year because they had to figure out team chemistry and learn how to play together. Now that those details are worked out, their second half performance has been stellar.
I am not expecting the Fever to be champions, but I hope they at least win in the first round.

Furthermore, the Fever was very successful at neutralizing A'ja's impact in the last game. I think the Fever has a good chance of winning it all if they can eliminate stupid mistakes and can find a way to beat the Lynx.

While I was sorry to see the dustup when the Fever played the Storm, being a Fever and a Skylar fan (I don't know what Skylar's problem was,) the game I'd like to see would be the Storm v. the Lynx. If the Storm's starting five plus Gabby off the bench are on top of their game, the Storm just might win that matchup.

The Storm were playing better pre-Gabby Williams. The team has struggled a bit since adding Williams to the line-up with her minutes eating into Horston and Whitcomb time. Horston brings a nice bit of athletic energy when she's on the floor, if they can find a way to get her more minutes during the playoffs, the team should do well. Hopefully Whitcomb's 3pt shooting picks up too, it's been off the last few weeks.

Did the commenters on this video not actually watch the last Aces and Fever game? Fever outplayed the Aces across the board, really. The whistles that the Aces get are incredible - even with the terrible officiating, missed free throws and a ton of missed open looks, the Fever still almost pulled it out. Fever are definitely a more dangerous team to face in the playoffs right now than the Storm. Fever are 10-5 over the last 15 (minus final game where starters sat second half) against a stronger schedule whereas Storm went 8-7 against a weaker schedule. No brainer.

There was too much on the line, and if the Fever had won, ESPN and the other major networks would’ve lost instant credibility. CC should’ve been the MVP, but what you saw was managed rigging. Did you notice all the NO foul calls and the stupid charges against CC and others ?
