I honestly think its a generational thing. I as at uni when facebook was first launched, then twitter, youtube, instragram and i try to stay away as much as possible. Gen Z and millenium live for and on social media. We live in a weak era where people are not tough enough to handle criticism and everything is taken personally.

Woman love drama. They think it sells. Look at the "real housewives" of whatever city. All drama. And get always praise themselves. For what? For show?
As a Sky fan...I noticed Angel has some fans amongst the collective who are gate-keepers, really gross. Izzy and Dana caught a lot of flack from Sky fans...many of them create their own narratives trying to turn the team into a reality show. Too much at times.
I’m honestly so tired of hearing about this shit. It happens in every single sport like it is what it is. Should it happen? No, but it comes with the territory of becoming more popular. Stop living online seriously!
They need to stop putting blame on caitlin clark fans, ive never seen clark fans criticize these people, i dont even know who the one on the right is ill be honest, only people i know of on their team is Angel Reese, Dana Evans, and unfortunately Chennedy Carter. No reese fans should be criticizing teammates for getting rebounds, that is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard. And you shouldn’t be criticizing someone for not passing to Reese in fact you SHOULD criticize someone FOR passing to Reese because she throws bricks all day.
The W is still getting use to all the attention that they have been craving since their inception but they are now realizing at the end of this season that it comes with just as many cons as pros. They are going to get criticized like any other sport. It sucks, but I guarantee the league is looking at it from a perspective that it would be worse if they weren’t talking about them at all. If you don’t have frustrated fans then you probably got other issues to address as well . Things will get better for the Sky. They were on the verge of officially exceeding expectations if they made the playoffs because many analysts weren’t expecting them to have the mild success they had earlier in the season due to still being in the process of rebuilding. They just need to assess themselves like any other team and make a diligent effort to address their challenges.
Part of it is that some of the Sky players and the coach are unsportsmanlike, they don't support and sometimes fight/argue with each other, and promote a bad behavior mentality. Some of the fans or followers see this and do it as well. Indiana Fever are a team that promote family friendly fans and a fun time and teamwork amongst each other.

Mick, just started watching basketball (C.C effect) starting to understand the game, but one thing I don't get is player trading, draft picks can you do a vid explaining how transfers work? Or if anyone can put it in the comments in simple terms. Cheers
Every player is under contract and can be traded. The salaries would need to match in a trade unless a team has lots of salary cap space. Players are drafted based on team records and there’s a lottery.
Im just like you, please, someone explain. I don't understand either 😂😂 .
@HeyCross-ss3wv so can you trade players at anytime or is there windows to trade in?
Who can be drafted anyone or just rookies?
@@EkulePrecious yeah it's confusing as hell haha
Swoopes meant it to the sky locker room
OHHH, that is sooo sad!!
I honestly think its a generational thing. I as at uni when facebook was first launched, then twitter, youtube, instragram and i try to stay away as much as possible. Gen Z and millenium live for and on social media. We live in a weak era where people are not tough enough to handle criticism and everything is taken personally.
while I do feel bad for her I think some of them lack mental stamina. Taurasi seems to be a G cause its water off a ducks back
Is this what Sports Illustrated meant when they called Angel Reese on of the "most influential"?
Clark changed everything for everybody in the WNBA. She’s MVP
You don't see Caitlin crying about everything...
She's a different breed. She is hard-wired for this.
Stealing rebounds is not a thing!! Its not a thing!!😅😂😂😂😂
Rebound IS allowed . It IS NOT an prohibition. It IS an rule game and every game haves his rule.
Somebody stepping up will only make it worse.
Internet is undefeated.
They had 2 top 10 picks in the draft and they all failed
I feel sorry for them but maybe now people can finally see that all those generalisations of Clark fans that the Sky fans made were totally wrong and most of the people saying this shit are internet trolls who just do it for the sake of hating
What a bunch of professional victims!
Woman love drama. They think it sells. Look at the "real housewives" of whatever city. All drama. And get always praise themselves. For what? For show?
Ladies do yourselves a favor. Stay off social media during the season. 😮
I'm calling it now, even though they even said their own fans are doing it. It is going to get twisted, and CC fans will be blamed for it. Guaranteed
They probably already are
Well we know Engelbert is always a step behind in PR and decisions
Chicago sky fans just want you guys better that all
These are too skilled beautiful young women. They don’t deserve this abuse. I hope they can change teams.
* two
As a Sky fan...I noticed Angel has some fans amongst the collective who are gate-keepers, really gross.
Your coach brings the hate ….
Hang on? They cheer people battering CC and then cry about Twitter? F them and the horse they came in on.
Any adult that is so unstable that they are emotionally wrecked because of social media... social media isn't the problem.
I think they pay to attention to social media and act to sensation they can stay off those sites
Ladies u should improve your basketball game 🏀 so your better next season
Part of it is that some of the Sky players and the coach are unsportsmanlike, they don't support and sometimes fight/argue with each other, and promote a bad behavior mentality. Some of the fans or followers see this and do it as well. Indiana Fever are a team that promote family friendly fans and a fun time and teamwork amongst each other.
Bruh these women are exhausting. They want all the benefits of having a top tier league like the NBA and NONE of the negatives. Do you want the money and attention or not? If so put ya big girl panties on and get off social media during the season or let someone run it for u.
IF THEY HAD CALLED CC THEY WOULD HAVE HELPED THEM.
Attacking young ladies with vile accusations is one of the most ungentlemanly things I can imagine. I puzzle over these people's upbringing. My mother used to say things like, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything." when I was little and got out of line. But today people feel free to attack young women with vile and stupid comments. It is a terrible reflection on world-wide society today. I think these trolls must be very unhappy people to act in such an awful manner.
And people say CC fans are most toxic ones, huh?
The same CC fans that was giving Aaliyah Boston death threats yes very toxic😮
@@brandonleemoss no they didn’t lmao.
CC Fans are the most Toxic fanbases, Angels is just prolly second and to be fair they are the two biggest fanbases all big fan bases are toxic
@@MrDiante you making that up. You just can’t accept that AR fans is the most toxic in WNBA because AR can’t keep her mouth shut and won’t accept the reality.
@@SFtheflash all fans always have some toxic. It’s called sport but AR fans is the worst one because AR literally keep running her mouth all the time.
These players were not in any way prepared for this. They had no idea what was coming for them. This is a failure of the league.
