In some cases the passenger(s) of the vehicle that has taken pursuit with police are just passengers and have nothing to do with any crime the driver is committing. So they just surrender themselves to save time on themselves and get away with possibly no charges. In this case, the passenger, even with face blur, looked visibly distressed as if they wanted nothing to do with the incident in the first place

Idc what anyone else says, Jefferson County cops 👮♂️ are always nice to me and everyone I know. They seem to have higher hiring standards than some of the other police departments around the Birmingham area. I'm sure there are a few bad 🍎 in all departments though.

Thank goodness for digital memory card and HDD cameras that can be compact. Imagine shooting this in the early days of TV like cops with a big ole shoulder mounter betacam SP and having to keep doing that.
its still shoulder mounted camera, but its much lighter than it used to be and like you said much more compact

In some cases the passenger(s) of the vehicle that has taken pursuit with police are just passengers and have nothing to do with any crime the driver is committing. So they just surrender themselves to save time on themselves and get away with possibly no charges. In this case, the passenger, even with face blur, looked visibly distressed as if they wanted nothing to do with the incident in the first place

@@elloowu6293The cameras defiantly influenced their behavior, but they still could have thrashed him. I've seen cops do worse things to criminals on this show. I think the fact that the dude became super submissive caused them all to chill out and slow down.
@@larkreid7960 I'll admit there was a few instances where I was like "I think it'd be best to shoot them here" as not to hurt anymore people. But there is a camera crew and just wildly shooting would put them in danger as they're very close to the action. Also its live PD. Shooting someone on a tv show would not be the best PR regardless of danger presented. Not sure how "real" this show is, I assume its legit or carefully cherry picked to show cops in danger but not too much danger
