The female cop had no right to go trying to look into his window and try to engage conversation with children in the house. The cop already admitted they were at the wrong address.
That wasn't admission of wrong address but confirmation of what the guy was stating in a more round about way. However, if things started off correctly and the cops right off the bat just started with telling the man that they received a call... and just wish to confirm that everyone there was fine and confirm this was the correct address, it may have gotten better results; but more than likely, would have left with the same amount of info as they did, but much more quickly and peacefully.

This is why learning to be a better communicator with the public is so important. I don't believe that firing the male police officer was the right thing? More training would probably have helped this police officer? Training and more and mental care is needed for law enforcement too! Their human being's too!
This all started because the police showed up at the wrong address. I know the government wants their police easily trained , but it's also important that the police know numbers and basic logic which is lacking in their training
There's been a lot of ppl killed by police who were at the WRONG address
that wasn't the officers fault, that was a miscommunication between the dispatcher and the person that called in the welfare check. the dispatcher told them that address. the rest of it? completely officer fault.
@@jackclark1994 so it’s the officers fault that they showed up at the wrong address , got it
@@OGGamingABC did you not read?
Thats not even training bro....its basically common sense....those cops are ego maniacs
This man’s family needs to listen and go inside and close the blinds
They want to make sure the cops didn’t shoot or at least be witnesses in the event something happened. You can’t blame them.
True... but they probably were concerned for his safety. And if anything went down they wanted to know. Do families need to start training for family protection practices and police response actions? I pray for the protection of family and individuals throughout this country. God give us discernment on how to remain safe and reveal those who mean harm to others. In Jesus name amen ❤️
Y’all right but he’s arguing with cops and his family. Families do need to learn how to handle these situations
@@rockrick2177 I agree with you and everyone else here, but I'd still get a little mad at my family if they kept trying to engage with the police. I was getting just as frustrated with them as with the cops. 🤦
Tell your legislators and congressmen to do away with qualified immunity so these officers actually learn the law and stop acting like criminals!
Meanwhile, there is the family that called for help who may be suffering a medical emergency wondering where their help is....
This was a follow up to a hospital visit. Rather absurd really.
As soon as they said "oh they said we have the wrong address" the officers' next sentence shouldve been "hey sorry to bother you or hassle you sir, have a good evening"
Crazy how if you open that door they almost can come up with anything to get in I’ll ignore them. Get a warrant
I mean to be fair, she tried, but her idiot partner didn't help her out any.
@@markheckman2196 yeah but the point is they had the wrong address as officers there aren’t any excuses for police not being thorough.
@@healthchannel8160 they were never told they had the wrong address, until the very end. Her idiot partner made sure of that
@@markheckman2196Who was never told? The cops? They were told very early on by dispatch they had the wrong address, at 2:02 lol. They didn't tell the army sergeant but they were already reluctant to tell him the reason why they were there in the first place.
Yet another example of why all police need to wear body cameras. 20 years ago, this would have been swept under the rug
20 years ago the Sergeant would have been gunned down on his porch and two false reports written.
It's still be swept under the rug or let's say sweep out the back door. The PD have done nothing in the last 60 years to correct this
Well, body cameras have been in use for almost 15 years and they don't stop these encounters, do they.
More like 5 yrs ago.
This is what happens when Machine men meets other machine men. 9 years of following orders you’re a machine man. Ditto for the cops.
It shouldn’t matter if hes an army sergeant, the cop should be treating everyone with respect and dignity. This guy needs some humility.
The female officer should get a C. The added fuel to the fire by knocking on his windows and trying to communicate with people inside before everything had been properly discussed and the SGT was clear on the nature of the visit.
Yes she's not much better.
They were under the impression there was child abuse happening at this property. I would like officers to do the same if a child was in the house being abused hut only a man standing on a porch screaming is there to answer.
@@SpongebobsRippedPant counter argument: the male cop clearly hears that it’s probably the wrong address AS they’re walking up.
@@SpongebobsRippedPant swallowing nail polish isnt child abuse. They werent being locked up and caged. So she was STILL incorrect.
@@SpongebobsRippedPant No. They were radioed at that it was the wrong address as they approached the door, and also again during the incident. AND the male cop repeated that it was the wrong address. They both chose to ignore those calls because they were set in what they were doing and wanted to "win" before leaving to the correct address.
I love to see a bad cop get fired, but the fact that telling someone to eat a duck is a fireable offense but murdering an unarmed person just gets you paid vacation is just outrageous.
Stfu dude. No cop has ever not gotten in trouble for shooting someone unarmed without serious obviously violent reactions from who ever was shot at. Every officer that has fired un provoked has gotten fired, fined or jailed.
You are right.
Stupid decision to fire a good cop. I'm sure every cop has their F days and A days.
A cop telling someone to eat a duck is probably the same one to kill an unarmed person. The department was just ahead of the curve
