Élévation en Fa, Alfons Diericx (1876-1915)

I dedicate this piece to Australians greatest Internet organist, James Flores, who’s brilliant recordings with this magnificent organ convinced me the add it to my Hauptwerk Collection. It has a fantastic plenum but my first challenge was whether I could make the organ sing like a Cavaille-Coll. This is the result. My conclusion is that this English organ speaks excellent French! :-)

Mooi, Rien. Uiteraard werkt dit op dit orgel, aangezien het nogal Frans georiënteerd is.

Als Oloron-St-Marie groupie vond ik toch een avontuur Ralph. Hahaha. Maar ik wilde graag een veelzijdige Sampleset met veel verschillende kleuren die paste binnen mijn 16GB RAM en wat meer karakter heeft dan Friesach. Niets mis met Friesach natuurlijk, maar ik match er op de een of andere manier niet zo goed mee…
