You sound very immature because it is going to be the same way with other companies so get over it instead of crying about something that isnt a big deal .@deefromewa9868
I have the S24+ and all I do is watch TH-cam some banking, calls, and texts and some Googling and some light gaming Chess and what not as long as it works thats all that matters
Yea Subscriptions are more of a thing now (which i dont want if i had already spend 1100 $ or more on my Phone) But its better they spend their time optimizing their OS and UI tha rushing it out (like Google did sometimes)
I dont understand why ppl are always going off about things like that? I'd rather have my phone batter & display running good than having a new android version. wtf is wrong with ppl 😒?
Simply for security reasons. New phones not only get software updates, but they get security mitigations on a hardware level as well (for example mte that protects your device from memory corruption exploits). Current google pixels and select samsung smartphones currently offer this very important security feature.
Yeah it's a bummer it's going to be late but not the end of the world I'd rather not have a whole bunch of bugs so if they have to delay it I guess that's better.
Android versions are still important on OEM's other than Google Pixel smartphones because almost all of them may update the Android version to 14 for example but then they freeze the codebase and don't deliver on the now more important qpr releases. Or worse, they get stuck on an older Android release. These qpr releases contain important security fixes that aren't included in the backported monthly security releases. So you'll only get these quarterly security improvements by getting a newer android version. Forensic companies like the nso group known for their pegasus spyware exploit this weakness and can successfully extract data on most android smartphones except on google pixel smartphones
Currently what you're saying applies only for Google's version of Android which feels more like Android 12.5 not Android 15. On the contrary One UI 7 is a radical overhaul of One UI.
Animations and aesthetics aren’t the same. Yes, the user experience will change, which is important, but it’s not the heavy hitting marketing features that will sell phones.
While AI is the buzzword rn (I don't really about it), I wish for an android version where I can choose to use my phone's default emoji across all social media apps and not rely on the ones that the app provides.
Not really interested One UI 7 with its Galaxy AI dtuff or any of the AI stuff, since One UI 6.1 does everything I need. I don't really care about a lot of the "AI" things they are marketing and asking money for. The only AI related thing that I find a use for is Live Captions and that's an Android/Google thing and not so much manufacturer specific. A longer lifecycle between Android versions seems to make sense to me since there's not much major stuff being introduced anymore in the last few major versions. That along with the regular security updates would make devices last longer and not be abandoned as quickly due to the lack of app support on as devices age.
90 percent of people get a phone for marginal camera upgrades and the ability to scroll pictures of food. Lol most of this is akin to the stylus. Most people arent even gonna bother with it, or thr carriers will add AI for a small fee..people love monthly payments hahah.
Same, I really dont care. Android already has everything I need. I dont care about the so called ai features. Just want good battery, fluidity and performance.
The only "A.I" features that would be useful are call screening improvements, email screening, real time translation improvement, and any machine learning to improve performance.
My brutally honest opinion is that too many within the tech community are entitled when it comes to numerous and timely updates. Look at Motorola, they rarely get updates at all and it's long stretches in between updates when they do get them. Samsung gets many more updates and way more often to the point they sometimes beat Google(who owns and makes Android). I'm in the minority who doesn't care about AI nor do I really use it much. Having it to edit pictures is cool and maybe using call screening features is very useful but all the rest is gimmicks. I'd rather Samsung take their time getting Android 15 and One UI 7 to fully optimize it and get it a little later to make sure there's no bugs/glitches. Just look at what happened with the Pixel 6 lineup and Android 12, it was a big train wreck of a mess because they rushed it out for impatient tech users who all couldn't wait for the latest and greatest. So, I agree with you Steve I'd rather get lesser features and get the stability.
As long as privacy/security/etc. is pushed out (idk why some privacy features are getting bundled into Android 15 instead of a sooner/broader security patch) and stable, that's all that matters.
Samsungs only issue is their user experience and the seamless experience others offer. Samsung should strictly focus on ui smoothness and cleaniest throughout the ui for a year or 2
I don't know why people are always in the rush for the next update as if the one on their phones has too many bugs. Your phone is running smoothly and you are enjoying it but you quickly start longing for the next one, not giving a chance to these OEMs to properly get them ready. I was happy that Google did not bring it and Samsung is not bringing it
I would like Samsung more if their skin was more like a pixel or a Motorola phone. Stock android is just the way to go. Of course that is my own personal opinion but the Samsung phone just has too many unnecessary Samsung features and apps that just don't need to be included . Give me a galaxy with stock android and all the great features Samsung has to offer just without the childish Samsung icon package and unnecessary Samsung apps . Hope that all made sense.
"Android versions are going to become less and less important" No, companies are making android versions less and less important, and this is going to bite them in the butt long term, this isn't like the headphone jack or expandable storage, people look to Android version updates precisely for the features they bring and now they can't advertise the software support aspect of it when folks know at the end of the day that means jack sh!t
AI is just another revenue stream. I won't be surprised when the Chinese brands will be giving it away for free. I'm still bitter about big brands like Samsung, Apple, Pixel still only giving 8gb Ram and 128 gb. Many of the Chinese brands start ar 12gb and 256 gb. Not to mention bigger but not always more effecient battery. Not to mention top notch processors at prices below name brand. Approximately 5yrs ago I bought Realme top tier phone with 12gb, 256, top of the line Snapdragon processor at the time, Amoled screen, aluminum body, super fast charger included, and a bunch of other high end features for around $500. It was a super bargain 5yrs ago.
I may pay for 1 month subscription and ask AI to find me a solution where I can keep the service for free. If it can't find me a solution, we'll it's goodbye AI.
The thing is, samsung is being copied by the entire market, i would slow down as well and see what others are doing with that innovation, no need to keep overloading the market with features and options and the others are getting the praise for it, it also gives a moment to address the nagging concerns of animations, camera capture, and messaging. Samsung puts out the goods I'm ok with waiting for 1ui7 as well. Honestly speaking it's still the most capable and complete os by far, however they need to launch products better, the 24 ultra was good but could've been much better. The AI stuff won't do as well just yet, there's too many free options to be paying and samsung will definitely give you stuff others won't so, let's see what happens, I'm betting that the new firmware will feel like a significant upgrade.
It's a midrange phone with a better build. It's more of an A55 plus or pro if you will. You're better off buying an s23 plus or oneplus 12r for about the same price.
Android versions are going to become less and less important.
I never though that nothing would be among the first to roll out android 15 via nothing os 3 that too on a midrange phone.
so much for 7 years of software upgrades hahaha
But Banks pushing us to use new android version phone.
Its a pain. 😂
Will you be making a end of support video for surface duo 2 like you did the original?
Yeah, I am not going to be paying for AI subscriptions on things I already paid my hard earned money for, especially on flagship premium devices.
@@diotitus yeah there's no way I'm paying for a subscription on my Galaxy s24 it's working fine
It's not even AI, it's a niche search engine with a voice.
Going back to apple or pixel 9 pro xl. I’m tired of Samsung for having ads on their store, bixby, lack of software updates.
Yeah
Waste of money
All that couldve been done with a 200$ smartphone easily, youre just blowing money if thats all that you are doing.
I ain't tripping, my s21 ultra is running just fine without it
Yea Subscriptions are more of a thing now (which i dont want if i had already spend 1100 $ or more on my Phone)
But its better they spend their time optimizing their OS and UI tha rushing it out (like Google did sometimes)
Is a market strategy, new S25 series need a big market because the upgrade from s24 will be to small in hardware and need an software big show
I dont understand why ppl are always going off about things like that? I'd rather have my phone batter & display running good than having a new android version. wtf is wrong with ppl 😒?

Will not pay for AI. My Samsung Galaxy Fold6 works fine. Whenever it happens, it is fine. I don't really care.
Not really interested One UI 7 with its Galaxy AI dtuff or any of the AI stuff, since One UI 6.1 does everything I need.

Agreed about the experience staying the same. I could care less about AI
Well, they should just coordinate it with the S25 release and not rush it.
One UI 7 is based on android 15. but android 15 will not be out this year. so make sense
7 years of AI support and removing features 💀
I think phones as well as these major software updates should be released every 2 years

the final wont be called OneUI 7

UI7 LOOKED UGLY AND THE OPPOSITE OF ELEGANT.

Part one of Section A.. 😂
Don't care at all lol.
Still watched the vid and dropped the like, just talking about new UI updates. I'm fine rolling with what I've got.
1st world problems 😂
Acting like 2025 isn't just 2.5 months away.
I may pay for 1 month subscription and ask AI to find me a solution where I can keep the service for free. If it can't find me a solution, we'll it's goodbye AI.
On still on 5.1 💀💀
So is my Tab S7+, and it's a joy to use. 👌

good one ui 6 was ass and 7 is probably worse
S24 fe is a flagship phone, worth it

@@jorgeoviedo870I've been hearing the E2400e performs better than the 8G2 inside the 12R.
