iOS users breathing in relief. who needs to change their icon pack and all of those silly options? iOS looks great abd works great out of the box (unlike OneUI)

After making the app drawer minimalistic, I'd suggest making those folders backgrounds transparent. To do this, click on the folder and then click on the colored circle beside the folder label and then click on the multicolored circle, which will take you to the swatch. Below you'll find the opacity slider, which you need to drag to 0%, i.e extreme left. Done!

@llyonnel2847 if you have the normal folders (not the pop up ones), you can change the background colour of the folder to transparent. That change will stay after you make them pop-up. The actual pop-up itself can't be below 70% though
Finally, I was able to turn all icons to a monochromatic grey. Your tips really helped me reach that goal with as little effort and additional apps as possible.Thanks!

Sam, that was quite intensive in terms of customizing on One UI. This is one of the reasons I prefer using Nova 7 on all of my Samsung Galaxy phones. Using gestures hasn't been that much of an issue for me. I appreciate you for doing this video on customizing in One UI. 👍🏿
And now with nova 8, the gestures are not an issue no more.

I do most of this stuff. It's honestly the best option to keep the stock launcher and don't waste as many resources running another one. Only thing missing for me is the option to hide the Dock.

Yes!!!
There are still a few things that keeps me going back to Nova Launcher. 1. Infinity scroll. 2. Custom icons for folders. 3. Resizable premade widgets. If OneUI in the next iteration gets these, I'm there. I've favorited this for later use, and to play aroundwith later.
I didn't really want any 3rd party apps so discovering good lock breathed fresh air into my small customize - loving soul.

I should note that i was unable to download Icon Pack Mixer due to it being for an older version.
I tried on S21 FE and got the app but then it failed at creating the custom icon pack for some reason
I have been using Nova Launcher since 2016 & I think a lot of flexibility was provided by them as well.
Will try the UI changes from your video on my newly arrived S23 today.

Hey, amazing video as always. Just a point I want to put out, we could also manually change missed icons from theme park as well. After we click "icons" at the choose icons and shape screen. In the menu on top right, there would be an option "change icons". Thanks

Thanks for the amazing work! I've been following the video and noticed the icon pack mixer app isn't available for me on the play store - as such I'm unable to mix both the delta and drops icon packs to one apk file. Is there a resolution for this at all? Thanks

Creating themes using theme Park is also really handy to restore your theme settings. For example, I have chosen 10 lock screen wallpapers, so that every time I lock and unlock my phone, a different image.will be shown. Now I want to change my wallpaper but I don't know if I'll keep it. I can now save my current config using theme Park and if I don't like the new wallpaper, I just restore to the old one.

If good lock isn't available in your region, you could download and install the modules as apps individually. Lots of tutorials on that online, i've tried it, works perfectly

Are there any other apps besides shortcut maker to remove icon labels for just the homescreen on s23 ultra as shortcut maker does not resize the widget even though there is an option to resize it which is really messing up my homescreen layout

In my device in theme park there is no option to customize icon pack. Is there any other option to change icon pack without changing the launcher???

I have a question. I want to create an icon pack with icons created by my. I know I can replace each icon with Theme Park, but I want to be able to create an icon pack outside of Theme Park like the ones you can download from the store. I'm trying to find how to do that and I can't find any infomation on Google.... Any info or tips? Thanks!

Only reason I use Nova Launcher is becahse it has a feature for folders that is "Swipe Up to Open"
So that you can click and it will open an app but if you swipe up on that folder, it will open the folder.

How can I insert a soft volume button in quick panel on my samsung tab s 8 ultra, like what we have on phones? To increase or decrease the system volume I have to use hardware keys now. But I want to use simple volume widget to do it instead.

I started using third party launchers again thanks to the app "One Hand Operation +" by Samsung. I just configure the gesture to home or the recent apps and I'm good to go.
