I’ve witness my sister not speak with our dad took it far to threat to kill our dad only cause my dad was trying to protect her. It only stopped when we found out my abusive ex brother in law r**** my sister daughter and got her pregnant. It took 10 years for my sister to get away from him 😔 smh. Unfortunately i have seen daughter's and sons turn on their parents and family when they have tried to intervene in tgeir abusive relationship. Its like stepping in when u see a fuy beating on his girl in the street...9/ 10 tgey both turn in you... abusive relationships suck for everyone.

    • @justiceleague3000
      @justiceleague3000 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Since there was a cut in the footage right before Liang says "Burn it, etc." I thought maybe the interrogator had rephrased the question as "What did you plan to do with the body?" and maybe they edited out that rephrased question for dramatic purposes. But I found the full uncut interrogation on TH-cam, and that part of the interview is actually exactly as they showed it in this video. Strangely, that appears to be the only time that Liang refers to Ashley as "it" in the interview. Everywhere else he says "she", "her", and "Ashley". I wonder if saying "it" was a way for Liang to emotionally dissociate from the grisly thought of having to dispose of his daughter's corpse.

Yes, I picked up on that too. Even from the time he was reporting her missing, he was fishy with his call to cops. If a child that old had a diaper, possibly she was having longer term issues with the parents and had pyschological issues. It's not usual for a child without disabilities to wear diapers until they are this old. Such cruel behaviour of an innocent child, who dies at the hands of someone who should love them.

I hear so many people say this, yet how many casss have you heard of where parents actually do this? It’s easy to say it when you’re not in the situation. I know we believe we are capable, but in the end I think it’s ingrained in us that we can’t take justice into our own hands. There is a morality switch in us (in decent people, not the POS that do horrible things) that is hard to just switch off. I’d like to think I’d take matters into my own hand, but I don’t think anyone can say for sure until they’re facing this.
There are so many women who’ve said “I’d never be in an abusive relationship”, then suddenly they’re in one and so lost on how they ever got into it when they knew better.
This man lives with enough regret. He doesn’t need people that have never been in this situation criticizing & placing blame.

After the police see evidence of serious abuse and violence, they just put their notebooks in their pockets, turned around, and walked off? SMH This is why folks take things in their own hands. My sister had a boyfriend who broke her arm. Her son found out and found the guy at the park. He beat him down seriously and broke the guy's arm. Yes, AND we can all help by resisting society’s maniacal emphasis on the value of being in a relationship at all costs. Let’s normalize not needing a partner bc you really don’t. If you’ve got kids, while undeniably challenging, Single parenting is so much better than being abused, and imprinting that onto your kids. Let’s normalize insisting that a potential partner meet a higher bar- they better be more enjoyable than ones precious solitude. Impress us.

      3. Learn more about how abusers work and how dv actually works before you tell victims/survivors what to/not to do.
      4. Put all the blame and responsibility where it belongs - the abuser.
      5. Stop victimblaiming.
      6. Stop abusing people, go to therapy and deal with your anger, grow up and take responsibility over your own actions like an adult.
Abusers are extremely manipulative and it’s not as easy as it seems to “just up and leave”, the tactics they use to make sure you stay with them are incredibly disturbing and terrifying, sometimes the victim/survivor stay because it feels safer knowing where the abuser is and how he moves, rather than cutting off all contact and constantly worrying about when he’s going to find you and strike.
Please learn more about this topic, it really isn’t as simple as you seem to think it is.

@@Sanber21 Victim blaming? Not sure what you're referring to (my comment?). Anyway, my learning about this subject comes from my own experience in several abusive relationships and counselling. I've left several relationships before it got worse(which guaranteed it will).... thereby taking responsibility for myself and my child. A victim is not to be blamed, but it's still their responsibility to leave. It's hard to "up and leave" sometimes but in most cases it's not that hard. "But I love him/her" is no reason to stay. You can love from afar but suggest to keep that love for yourself. Yes, to be safe: "knowing where the abuser is and how he moves". Certainly good to know the habits and make a safe exit. I made sure to move out of the area he inhabited. But maintaining contact is tricky (dangerous) bc by maintaining contact, it's a double-message to the abuser: "It's all ok now" "they still love me" "I can persuade/manipulate them back".
Also, you'd be amazed at the little tidbits of information they can gather from you while you're speaking.
I learned the old adage is true: "Love is as perennial as the grass". I also learned to claim my part in the cycle of abuse. There are ways to de-escalate a tense situation and that takes education. A psychological dynamic often at play is narcissism. (research on UTube) there's tons of counsellors who can help.

The fact that this guy posted his beatings of his victim is very sick. I feel so bad that , like many victims of DV, she had to endure this violence for so long. RIP.

Spent 19 yrs with a very mean woman.. She LOVED to "fight".. by fight I mean She LOVED to just argue.. or meaningless crap too!!.. She would slap, punch, etc. Me .. what made her the most angry was that i REFUSED to engage with her.. i would not say one word.. just look at her like she was nuts.. which she was.. she was EXTREMELY Bi-polar..
I finally walked away & divorced her.. She went ballistic!!.. evrn in the Courtroom in front of the Judge.. Judge put her on jail for 3 days for her behavior in Court (Contempt of Court)
Took me 8 months to get Divorced.. our 13 yr old son told Judge he wished to live with his Dad.. Judge granted it.. she was ordered to pay me child support.. she wouldn't pay a dime & i didnt even bother to take her to court (she worked in a Drs office for 18k a yr.. i had a Union job at 150k a yr.. i didnt need her money)..

People who commit DV/IPV are just bullies with brainwashed victims. Brainwashed into thinking that they (the bully) care or even love them. That's how my psychologist tried to explain it to me. Watching TC YT, I can see it's true. But when I lived it, I truly couldn't see it. And I tried very hard to see it. So if you know someone in Ashley's situation, don't get angry at them when they don't or can't see what you see, but don't stop trying to help them see it. She left that monster of a woman battered to re-invite him in their home, till he killed her, and almost took the life of her sister. Because you see just a part of the family, you don't know about the family dinamics, how they raise her, etc. Sometimes parents abuse children voluntary or unvoluntary, may be they treated her poorly or may be they overly protected her to the point she could never built a real notion of herself. People who usually are "too good" often live their lifes for the good of others and never take on account their own needs and desires.
Once I red a post of a girl for her dead sister who I happened to know: "you came to this world to make ME happy" and I instantly felt mad at it. Did that girl fulfill her wishes or all her life was put on serving the needs of others?

It took 3 things to give me the strength to file for divorce in September 2021. 1. My older Son telling me not to stay in the abusive relationship just because I didn't want my younger Son to have divorced parents. 2. These 'victims' need to 'know' that when 911 operator asks, 'Are there any weapons?' the answer is always 'YES', the weapon is 'the hands'! People need to know that the 'HANDS ' are WEAPONS!!!

the first story is bad , but ashley was a adult … the little chinese girl that died at the hands of her parents…. HORRIFIC!!
and to know that the mom only got 20 yrs and the dad 12… makes me want to take justice into my own hands.
and to top it off… the mom will stay in US prison for 20 yrs.. on taxpayer money.. then be deported back to china??? like wtf.

This is so tragic, and sickening! That anyone wld feel entitled to take a life? If it weren't for his advantage of strength? He is a coward picking on pp who were not his size, but small & innocent? Otherwise it may had went the other way?
