I was wondering that. That thing being responsible for vulnerable people's lives is scary. But it's all this equal rights thing and discrimination they can even become nurses sometimes 😢

I'm a paramedic of almost 20 years and I read your comment and laughed. I honestly think people with mental illness are drawn to the job.(Cause it definitely isn't the money) Maybe adrenaline rush. Maybe a 'can't fix myself so I'll fix someone else' type attitude. Some of the best paramedics, I mean ones I have witnessed with my own eyes, save a life, were completely unhinged in their personal life. Suicide and alcoholism is rampant in the profession. I have found that the greatest first responders... The best careGIVERS simply don't care about themselves.. really if they cared about themselves they wouldn't be paramedics, not because they would be bad at it, in fact they'd be better at it, but because the long hours and trauma we see just makes mental illness worse

She should have done jail time also. It was revenge that motived her to turn him in to police and not a conscience that someone had been killed. She could have told police what his plan was and saved the life of that mother. I do not understand the judicial system.

Sometimes they need a witness, without it, they won't get a conviction. They must have not had enough physical evidence.
@@crosales8184they hardly ever have enough physical evidence. They look for a motive and most witnesses are Not out to do the right thing so most are not even good witnesses. But a person can be convicted with all circumstantial evidence.
The prosecutor, in this case, said something like sometimes, you must make a deal with a lesser evil to catch a bigger evil. The prosecutor made a deal with the girlfriend to get her to spill the beans & be a prosecution witness. I don't agree with the idea of letting a criminal like her walk free.
i agree but you don't have an option of all three getting jail time. It was ether some go to jail or no one does to jail because they needed her testimony as they didn't have enough otherwise and they needed to make a deal to do it.
