See that's why my parents taught us to never say never, you're creating a challenge that you are blinded by. No where in my comment was comparing or talking about a ZX14 (1400cc bike), I'm talking about the Gsxr-1000 which is in the liter bike 1000cc class. Every bike has It's own class, so see you jumped the gun on that. The Gsxr-1000 was king for many years in it's class we all know that, and even Suzuki on it's promotion of this latest version titles it the King is back ( for the CLASS it's in ). I'm sure you have a 600cc king, 750cc king 1000cc king, etc etc...... And with all respect to your comment, I haven't seen a ZX14 beat up on any S1000rr's and this video is not the Gsxr-1000rr model, and test have shown the Gsxr-1000rr model to pull faster than the S1000rr. So I would say even if a Gsxr-1000rr was to battle outside of it's class stock for stock with a ZX14 the 14 would get embarrassed easily. Technology has passed by the ZX14, no high tech electronics, no quick shifter, heavy as a tank, no (BPF) big piston forks, no launch control, etc... The 14 is a good bike but time has marched on.

@TheGreatRuckus I see now you're a Kawasaki fan and that's fine. But the truth of the matter remains as I stated before in my comments. Every bike can't be the best from year to year, if so you wouldn't have to say the King is BACK but the Gsxr-1000 remained King for a long time and had longest time consistently and that is fact. I think you would do yourself good by actually studying the history of Motorbikes instead of hype. Your comment about the S1000rr is so far off compared to a zx14 in speed makes you sound misinformed about bikes. As I stated before the 14 is a good bike, and YOU want to compare a 1400cc bike to the 1000cc bike, and as I stated before, even though the bike is 1000cc it will spank the 14 stock for stock. Riders play a part of course but the Zx-14 is the King of Nothing, due to the Gentleman's Agreement back in year 2000 they all Max out at 186 mph, but if you do your homework on the agreement The company of all people to started the talks and paperwork for the agreement was BMW, why would they start the talks when they didn't even have a bike at that moment that could reach 186 mph hmm? Well if you research this BMW is the prime culprit that Broke the Agreement and the Japanese were not happy, BMW years later came out with s1000rr that went 189 mph limited (cheating the agreement). The fact remains your King ZX14 is NOT even mentioned in the Historical Books Of Motorbikes as a game changer because it's limited to 186 mph like all others after year 1999. Now the Hayabusa 1999 model is a game changer it's in the History Books of Speed, and the three top dogs to date is #1 Kawasaki H2R #2 Ducati Paganelli, and #3 MV Augusta, and #4 BMW S1000rr. So I'm afraid for you because there is no mention of a ZX14 in the history books. Stock for Stock a S1000rr would sail away from any ZX14 because your King is limited to 186 mph compared to BMW 189 mph so i'm afraid again for you in this matter of speed. These are all facts.

It seems like that GSX-R slows down after 250 and usually like the rider is forcing the bike to lock 299 as compare to other liter class bikes like R1 S1000RR they are so smooth till the 299 lock. Can anyone guide ?

a race over a quarter mile isnt meaningful !! a good bike is also strong in the upper area too !! not only from 0-200 . do a race over 1000 metre with this bike a good bike has after 1000 metres around 300kph if its good than it takes under 15 seconds . a 200+bike should do this in this time of course only with a good rider . dont forget a bugati chiron do this in 13,5 seconds and thats are 1900kg vehicle

      It depends on emissions.
USA has limited their 1000cc bikes to produce 155 - 165 hp to the wheel. But some countries sell 1000cc bikes aren't restricted as in USA or UK, of which produce 185-195 hp to the wheel.
