- Happy new year you guys!!! I pray 2024 is an amazing year for us all in this industry. Again I apologize about my technical difficulties and lack of content lately but here’s a video to start the year out! Sorry it’s a longer one. I edited 3.5 hours down to 30 minutes.
God bless ☺️ #hotshottrucking #noncdlhotshot #owneroperator #trucking #hotshot #truckinglife #dailyvlog - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Congratulations brother, keep up the awesome work. God is amazing 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😎😎😎
God is so good!! 🙌🏼
If you fold your tarps on the deck of the trailer, they will stay cleaner, plus you're not block road ways and such while doing it. You need to get corner protection for boxes you should need to crush boxes like that. I use smaller straps for palettes of boxes and if being tarped you should not be crushing boxes like that. We have been places that will go into the crushed box and check all parts, have had loads where they want no crushed boxes they want the palettes secured only and trap all the load together.
Yeah I was considering the deck of the trailer. And I’ll use my corner protectors next time. Thank you for the tips!
Hi Tavis, you are correct about Rapid City. I live here and it is a blackhole for loads out. While I run a bigger rig than yours, I deadhead out most of the time! Rob
Great video ,i just got my authority and gonna hit the road soon. Non cdl so hopefully an get some loads booked. Be safe out there!
Be prepared to hear “no” a lot trying to get loads due to young MC. But some still will. Gods luck and stay safe as well!
Great video happy new year have a great day be safe.
Thank you, you too!
creeping up on 1,000 subs..... be there soon....
And I appreciate every single one of them 🫶🏼
I would be more interested in the video if you say how much each load was towards the end. I’ll feel like it’s worth to watch more videos. By me watching you I’m witnessing what you going thru on the road but idk how much it’s paying off.
Thank you! I will start doing that
Just recently started watching you, I appreciate your videos. That tarping doesn’t look fun. Keep them coming, good content.
Thank you for watching! It wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed it for my first time.
great video fixing to start driving for a hot shot company any pointers for pulling a gooseneck have pulled close to 30 foot trailers before just never a gooseneck
Best tip I can give is practice backing before heading out.
the subtitles are not clear. could you please open the subtitles
I will try to figure that out as I’m new to this. Thanks for letting me know!
@@truckertavis there was a subtitle, thank you
Amen brother!.. you got this!!!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Should consider edge protectors for those cardboard boxes
Think I will from now on even if shipper/receiver doesn’t care. Appreciate it
Hey boss what’s that gps you’re running? Been looking for something better than google/Apple Maps. Ya know that has the truck related routes…
It’s a Garmin. I like using my Garmin, Apple/google, and Trucker Path. Most truck stops will have the GPS’ for an easy purchase instead of waiting online
I gots the psoriasis on the eye lids too and it sucks. What ointment you use?
It’s miserable 😩 I use any decent moisturizer I can get off Amazon and MG217. When it gets really bad I use Coal Tar shampoo on the areas 😭
@@truckertavis I was prescribed desonide it’s amazing how much it helps. Had to make a trip to a dermatologist to get prescribed it but it was worth it.
@@Loganstoolbox I might have to make a dermatologist appointment!
So what was your gross pay for the week?
I don’t remember off the top of my head. I believe $4800 at 2k miles or somewhere close to that.
