I do this in my relationship with my bf. I get so caught up on his physical flaws that i panic im not feeling head over heels in love. Danielle, in one of your videos, you said you were getting married. Can you do a video about how you felt during engagement and on your wedding day? Did you struggle at all?
I'm struggling with this at the moment, like really bad anxiety, I wake up the mornings in a panic , thinking is my partner attractive enough, I'm currently in ERP therapy, it is helping but I still have a long way to go, are you in therapy at all?
Hi Danielle, thank you for this video, its SO relevant to me! I have started moving towards intimacy for many, many months, but it always results in loss of attraction and desire, which totally fuels and "proves" my fears. I go numb. Do you have any advice on this?
It sounds like you’re practicing exposure, but there are probably compulsions getting in the way. You’ll want to identify those and reduce them to zero.
@@MyOCDCoach thank you for your reply and insight🙏 I have considered that, but I find the loss of attraction happens before I even think or ruminate about such things.
What if i never really found him attractive? I fell in love with who he is as a person, but I cannot get over him being shorter than me :( I get soo triggered seeing couples where the man is taller. Ugh

No, I didn’t because I’ve gotten to the recovery stage:)
@@MyOCDCoach is the recovery stage permanent?
@@DANFLIX98 it can be if you keep compulsions at zero, yes.

@@Nicole-yx8ms yes, it can, but the root is anxiety.
@@MyOCDCoach I think that's true, though sometimes I almost feel.. calm?
Can anxiety alone without compulsions cause loss of attraction?
@@Nicole-yx8ms yea
