You are the only one that uses a camera to get right in there and show finger positioning to make it easy to see everything, as a beginner this video is gold to me, I’ve been concentrating on the pentatonic scales for the last few months and am just now feeling confident enough to move into cords, and we’re playing the same guitars just different color and that helps, thank you

I purchased Ricky’s book and am working my way through. I particularly enjoy the uninterrupted lessons and came to TH-cam specifically to leave a review. I love how this teaching is a teaching and not a ‘do this’ example. I find learning how things work behind the scenes increases my ability to remember and apply the lessons. The bar chord cheats I use for playing killing moon, I can play a bar chord but I’ve had 2 frozen shoulders in the past and it’s a killer after a couple of minutes.

I'm going to try fretting the chords by putting the index finger down first. I learned the other way around, and I hope that re-learning with the index finger first will help me speed up my chord changes.

Ricky I missed this post by 8 hours; I know you been trying to send me a message and everytime I try to click on to it I lose it. At any rate I will be trying to get your PDL'S once I get a few bucks in my pocket. I have to use the printer at the Library. So it will probably be at the beginning of the month in November.
