Since our first priority was to make the product as robust and durable as possible, we stuck with the same material for the faceplates that we use for the shells and case. This resulted in our options for faceplate customization being extremely limited, which was a tradeoff we felt was worth making. That said, we've always got our eyes on new methods and technology that could help us offer more customization on that front, and we'll excitedly announce future strides if the time comes!
We're always R&D'ing to see about creating future Plunge Audio offerings, however, there's nothing formally scheduled to be released beyond the Unity IEMs at this time. We'll be sure to announce any future products as loudly as possible!
I was hoping they would come in Bluetooth. Changed my mind in buying them. Maybe you will consider this. Good to have options. I only work with the best. Cheers. Q
We're testing some Bluetooth tech as we speak to see if there's something that we're comfortable with offering as an OEM option. That said, with the MMCX connector, there's a myriad of available aftermarket products that will connect seamlessly with the Unity IEMs to enable Bluetooth connectivity!
sorry, had DAP’s on my mind. DAC’s, i don’t have an official reccomendation. I have a nice grace design one that I love, as well as a couple Graham Slee units. I work in my studio a lot so generally use my Universal Audio X4 which sounds great. Ive got a few units I am building, but never seem to find time to finish them.
Where can i find its fr.graph?Im asking because i once did a test my dt 880 vs ny etymotics 2SR that people claim that they have monitor tuning and the bass difference was huge despite the fact that you don t call dt 880 a bass monster..
We believe that graphs only tell a tiny fraction of the whole story, so we don't put ours out there as a way to help make that point. There are many people who've graphed the product, though, and we'd encourage you to check out their thoughts on it! th-cam.com/video/V8fXVNsgqsI/w-d-xo.html
very nice video, new case looks fantastic, love it :) looks like it might even be pocket friendly
thanks man. yeah its pocket friendly. that was the idea, large enough to house everything but still light and small to throw in your pocket.
@@plungeaudio very awesome, wish other audio companies would care this much, but well, that's what makes plunge audio a step above the rest :)
Would love to get a pair of plungies one day! Do you plan on offering custom face plates for these down the road?
