4:36 Honestly being able to reassemble a citizen drone in base rain world would be nice. Especially if you want the Moon pearl dialogue but don’t want to constantly reload expedition to get it. It could be unlocked for Hunter, Gourmand, Monk, Survivor, and Rivulet after completing Artificer’s campaign. Something like finding three parts scattered throughout garbage wastes and bringing them all to a shelter causes a unique dream sequence and gets you the drone. Pebbles won’t kill you if you have it, but he won’t read pearls because he’s annoyed by your presence and he will simply tell you to go away. Rivulet’s metropolis could be covered in the rot, too.

The same code could be used to make centipedes and Long-legs, for centipedes they'd just need to string multiple body segments together, having each one's next position be the position of the previous one in the chain.
It'd be fascinating to see this project also be offered as a standalone mod/series of mods, and perhaps be accessible via some sort of gate from a normal minecraft world. Having this be something you can experience within a single seamless minecraft world would be unbelievably cool.

I am a freshman collage student who is a CS major, coming into my second year of collage, I have been coding since I was in 6th grade so about 8 years. I know the languages in order learnt scratch, basic, java(for only robotics) HTML, Javascript, Python(a lot of python), C#, C++, Java(again but this time at a professional collage level) Clojure, Ada, and Ruby. I( had a summer job teaching at a coderschool. I never made a mod or datapack before (I always code from scratch[and not the program]) but I am definitely willing to learn, I don't think it would be too hard. Rainworld is my favorite indie game that I have played since the pandemic and my favorite triple A game is Minecraft wehitch I have been playing since 2011. My favorite thing to do in Minecraft is do redstone and mess around with command blocks(I know how to do com-plicated commands) and making minigames to play with my siblings. All this being said, I'd love to help with the project , and would like to know what channel I can ask in.

I learned about my passion for coding last summer and didn't know where to start, after fumbling around i decided to take ap computer science for my senior year of high school and that has given me some skills in python, i also took game design and learned a bit of CSharp with the help of chat gpt, I'm starting my freshman year of college this year and will be taking taking "C programming" this semester!i made two mods for Rainworld and I'm excited to keep growing. Well, this is absolutely awesome. What I love the most is how it translates the world in a 3D space. When I first saw in Downpour LttM pull up a map of the factory grounds, I've realized that "wait, the world isn't two dimensional !", and the visuals of this project show exactly what I would imagine Rain World if it as 3D.
I feel like the flashing in the Underhang when it rains down there could be done away with and a different way of conveying the static shocky could be figured out ? I'm not epileptic but the flashing bothered my eyes a bit so I fear it could do worse to those who *are* triggered by flashing in one way or another. Other than that, this project looks really fucking cool and I can't wait to see more of it !

as a Rainworld fan, this is really thrilling to see be developed though i do hope the empty gaps in the foreground & background(aka stuff you normally wouldn't be able to see in rainworld but could in minecraft) is filled in with stuff to make the world feel more complete

this is reminding me of mine in abyss which is a 1 to 1 recreation of the made in abyss world with all the creatures and layers made I suggest trying it out, its very fun
I really hope that some creatures like the lizards are implemented to have some procedural movement. I know that that's tecnically a different project however I don't think the flat Minecraft movement that most mobs have would do this justice

Ooooh, this is really cool. You should add some more dynamic lighting with the shaders, as well as use "Pehuki" to make the player model smaller.
I'm really excited to see the shimmer mod being worked on, it would be awesome for the colored lights and dynamic light
