A Day Exploring Anglesey | Wales

Welcome to Anglesey! In this video, we are exploring three amazing places located all across Anglesey: Beaumaris Castle, Parys Mountain, & Porth Wen Brickworks.
Anglesey is an island located just off north-west Wales, extremely close to Snowdonia National Park, and it is the largest island in Wales.

The first location we are visiting on our epic day trip to Anglesey is Beaumaris Castle, located in Beaumaris this castle was built alongside three other castles located throughout North Wales (Harlech, Conwy and Criccieth) by Edward 1st during his plan to conquer North Wales in 1282.
After this, we headed around a 30-minute drive up to the north side of Anglesey to the completely surreal Parys Mountain. Parys Mountain is the site of what used to be a large copper mine during the 18th century. Today, the landscape feels as if you are on another planet. There are remains of the mining operation still littering the landscapes here and it's absolutely surreal!
For our final location, we drove another 10 minutes on from Parys Mountain to reach my personal favourite location that I have ever found so far on Anglesey, and that is Porth Wen Brickworks. Slightly more of a hidden gem in Wales, the remains of these brickworks are so intact and surreal, they are the perfect place to explore, complete with kilns, peaceful beaches and amazing coastal scenery, this place is certainly one to visit!
