- Jomtien Pattaya Beach in March 2024. It was a beautiful day, so I started filming this quick video. Jomtien Beach is great but can become very hot during the daytime. Jomtien is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 155 km from Bangkok in the Chonburi Province, Thailand.

Recently returned from my 4th time in Thailand. I keep asking my self why l just dont move and live in Jomtien for a year or 2. Well...l guess l might as well just return ASAP. 😊

I was amazed at how foreigners and even locals enjoy the beach of Pattaya even though the water is muddy and dirty. I went there in 2017 with my family to visit Cartoon Network Amazone theme park and I was totally surprised how crowded is Pattaya beach even though the sand isn't white and the water murky.
The water seems okay here in Jomtien. I have never swam on Pattaya's main beach.
It looks much quieter there now than when I was staying in Jomtien Dec/Jan.

It still amazes me some Thai's wear jeans or long clothing in the heat. While you sweat your butt off in shorts and t-shirts. Yeah when it reaches these temps like to go to the cinemas just to stay cool but saying that it can get real chilly there.
Yes, I wonder how these security guards wear those uniforms. I guess they get used to it.
