I honestly think the problem with melo is that he played in the wrong era. He grew up idolizing Kobe and Jordan, so he made his isolation game his priority. Then when he got into the NBA, the league started moving towards the three point shooting, 7 seconds or less offense and he just kind of got left behind. I think he would’ve been perfect in the ‘90s. I also think he gets waaaaaay too much hate. People overreact so much today that every player is either the best since Jordan or just straight trash. Like a bunch of 5 year olds.

Carmelo Anthony should have took a pay cut, signed a shorter contract to make more money later, and joined Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, and if I'm not mistaken 🤔 a young Jimmy Butler to compete for a championship while he still had the chance👍🏼That was such a missed opportunity🤦🏽♂️

Tayway7373 I don’t hate Melo but I could careless if I see him again. Don’t get me wrong because Melo is one of my favorite players I’ve seen play in the NBA, his game just doesn’t fit in today’s NBA and the last thing I want to see is Melo have another season where he struggles on a team let alone a team giving him a chance and just giving up on him either during the season or after the season ends. The only way I want to see Melo back in the NBA is if he joins a top team in the NBA and helps them win it all. The only way I see this happening is if Melo comes off the bench because let’s be real here, Melo can still score but he’s a liability on the defensive end which is why I say come off the bench instead of starting. But I’m sure he’ll be back in the NBA and start for a team who needs him.

Melo blew his chance at a farewell tour when his skills diminished and he didn't want to take a reduced roll in OKC.
He didn’t mention Kobe who arguably had the greatest farewell tour, capped off with 60 points in his final game? Now that’s blasphemous 🤦🏾♂️

That was the most disrespectful moment in the history of First Take. Even Max Kellerman would have enough respect for Kobe Bryant to at least MENTION Kob's name.

Lillard needs to tell Portland to sign Melo then😂😂😂.

No way Mello deserve a farewell tour; he been stealing money since Jeremy Lin played for the Knicks
I went to Kobe’s farewell tour last game in Chicago and it was so emotional and awesome. No way Melo will get a farewell game like that.
Melo simply not on the same level with Dirk and DWade, not to mention Kobe
Stay off the drugs career average 25 ppg

Raymund Turner depends on what type of team you got. To play with multiple superstars, I’m taking dirk but on a trash team, I’m taking melo
3:36 wait, so Bron gets killed for joining up with other players but Melo gets criticized for not joining up with other players?

I think he would be ok with The Lakers playing with Lebron and coming off The Bench if i was Lakers i would sign him to a one year Deal
