Ray Allen is a good guy and a class act! Celtics didn’t respect him, and stalled him. The deadlines were approaching. He DID reach out, but nothing came of it. He made a decision like a man. He has to live with his decision at that point, and the other guys need to grow up. ‘Nough said...

That's honestly a winner's mentality. When someone disrespects you and treats you like an afterthought, you go out there and prove them wrong... and that's exactly what Ray did. If ray was a “true friend” he would’ve picked up the phone when kg&pierce where calling him who did nothing to him, instead he completely cut his relationship off with them because he felt guilty or was never really friends with them. It would’ve been nice if ray wasn’t petty and went to pierce jersey retirement something a real friend would’ve done, or not write a book dissing the Celtics, talk about petty he brought this upon himself
