Many women has faced this. I am the second child of my parents. When my father knew it's a girl, he quietly walked out of the hospital off to the road at night. Came back home the next day. There's ALWAYS a reason behind every feminist woman you see.
How do you know that?
So sad to hear that, I am blessed with baby girl last year. Everyone keep on saying start planning for boy. I am always like, you all go to hell, I don't want another baby at all. I wanted a baby and I have a baby, it doesn't matter whether it's a boy or a girl. My husband also don't want another baby but his parents and my parents they want us to plan baby boy😂😂😂😂. But I know a baby is baby no matter what the gender is.
True ❤
very true
We are responsible for the body andy, mental issues. No one is gonna take that responsibility for yourself. ❤
SO relatable! I never thought of PCOD as the body rejecting our femininity bcoz of society and our upbringing. Makes perfect sense and I hope it helps in my healing too.
I am 16 nd surviving from pcod from last 2years
It totally is. I was raised in a toxic misogynistic house hold where my mother was shaming for normal breast development and femininity. I also didn’t have a secure relationship with my father .
Do hooponopono prayer
Rejecting feminity can also project when your androgen levels are increasing. Talk to a nutritionist adjust your diet also talk to your ob.
damn i also didnt thought about it..but as I'm looking back of my past ...its definitely one of the cause!!!!
In the first five minutes … she showed me the reality of my life …. Now I realise how people’s comments in my childhood has made me the worst enemy of myself only. Today I suffer from PCOS, thyroid and multiple issues inspite of doing exercises and living a good lifestyle. I couldn’t find the answer for that. But now when I look back …. I see that long back I rejected my femininity. The struggle to become better than a male has brought me to lose miserably as a female today.
You've not lost anything dear!!
We all are growing and changing everyday!!
You are never late when it comes to loving yourself!!
And remember you are soo loved😊
OMG Everything they said is making sense to me now... I didn't think that every illness will only leave you when you understand what they're trying to teach you. This podcast is eye opening for me.
Now I know why I got PCOD. Damn! Every single time I said I wish I was a boy, my body was listening. I feel so sorry for myself. I was cruel to myself and now I know what impacted my mond😭😭
That's so true even though I've faced the same thing i wanted to be a boy and now I have pcod
same here
Yeah I also have the same situation in past life 😞
same for me
I was never even acknowledged by my parents in my younger days, until I got good grades in 10th grade and "made them proud", I had to earn my own parent's love and attention....I never ate much or had many sweets, etc. but I attained pcod since my first period itself...i.e. since younger days, when I was emotionally empty...my depression gave me this and it's scientifically proven that stress is a cause of pcod and hell yeah I had a stressful CHILDHOOD...
I rejected femininity since my childhood till my 20s, because I felt less as a girl, I didn’t feel safe, I also felt restricted whereas my brother had a different kind of freedom. Ofcourse I have hormonal issues and pcod since my 20s. And it has to do with imbalance in the sacral chakra which is about our endocrines and reproductive system. When you feel restricted and not able to be fully safe being yourself/express yourself with your reap identity in your childhood, your sacral chakras get imbalanced. The key is to feel safe in your femininity, build your confidence, make yourself trust yourself more.
She is so relatable. Sometimes we get scared by the body standards set by influencers and actors (can’t blame them it’s their job to look good) that we feel that even we must achieve the same body standards. ❤❤❤People like her remind us to love ourselves and our body ie it’s okay to be human. 😊😊😊
That is why I liked her so much.
She is a gem and confident with what she has..
I am also going through the same thing people are also bullying me whether it's my family or my friends and Sometimes I hate my body so much. I am angry with my body why I have this type of body and why I have hormonal issues but now I am happy with what I have. If somebody loves me they love me anyway like my mother does .
Spot on. It comes from a deep inner rejection of the feminine.
Yes, its true. Right when I passed class 10, I had to take responsibility to look after my family. My parents raised me like a boy a lot and I hardly fear anything to face. I worked so hard that hardly only few months a year my periods occur on time. Mostly it is irregular and i have become used to it. Now I am 32, even though i have a good job, i am not able to improve the financial problems. I also do extra work and travelling has become a part of life in the city. Also forgot to mention about the household work that I manage at both my mother's and in-laws house! So much money spent on pcos medicines in these years. I recently realised why to worry so much. If I will put too much importance on pcos, then pcos will always remain as a queen upon me 😂 Now, i am like 'Tu mera kuch bigaar nahi sakta!! '
When I hear and feel this podcast...feels like listening to really good friends...not all guests pour out their hearts...and different perspectives of emotions and healing...Keep up with these podcasts ..
@RanveerAllahbadia ..i broke into tears coz of this podcast…i face the same issues since long..😔
This is going to help so much with my own healing of my body, my relationship with my femininity, masculinity and health. Thank you so much, Ranveer and Vidya
this interview is so so motivating.
she definitely said everything by heart
loved it
Such a raw interview, Vidya bearing out her heart. She is lovely!
The yogic perspective also talks about Physical issues coming from mental issues.
Pranic Healing, Homoeopathy, and Ayurveda also believe the same.
Yes rejection of feminine energy causes it, I have the same history
Everything she said is Homoeopathy concept , finally somebody talked about it. Ace might be irresolved anger , all lifestyle disease and chronic diseases all come from out own mind and disturbance in emotions.
Vidya mam ❤… Thank you for speaking your heart out… I started crying as I feel the same happened with me
Most women do go through all this. Thank you for saying it out loud!
WOW... the leg pain thing and left shoulder pain is so making sense to me after listening to this ❤
I want to see her on screen again!! Wonderful actor and transparent human being, and extremely beautiful
This video is so beautiful, insightful and resourceful all at once. thanks a bunch Ranveer & Vidya! I feel so blessed and kind of understand myself better! loads of love & joy!
This is so true ...❤ recently i came to know about this . Everything that happens in your body is directly related to mind .
What a lovely interview....raw and original.
I agree to everything you said as a fellow pcod survivor, but there is one pitfall to what you are saying . We all get overweight because of excess calories . I agree that hormones causes insulin resistance, even then if you eat below your expenditure and maintenance, you will lose weight . It is law of thermodynamics.
Can u explain it more plZ?
Lived with pcod for 25 plus years. 40 today n pcod is under control with regular workouts home food and trying to accept the fact that pcod will always remain. It's a lifestyle shift if u wanna control n combat pcod ..
Agr ye podcast hindi mai hota ..to log jada connect kar pate...aur acha lagta...bcoz everyone don't know English
So relatable to me as a person who is dealing with PCOD I understand this
Wow she is so damn honest and so so relatable 👏🏻👏🏻
Acceptance of many things helps to heal a lot of things very true and very good podcast 👏
Crystal Clear Thinking evident in the first 5 minutes. More power to her❤
Omg! What a relevation! I always knew the mind leads the body 99% of the times and not otherwise. But this is a extraordinary. It seems like 100% now. And that's good news, because it means everything it's up to me now. Thanks for such articulation ranveer and vidya. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
It's not all up to you. Don't blame yourself for having health problems and don't expect a miracle of perfect health if you just manage to think all the right things. Good mindset helps but is not everything. We don't have full control over our lives, and it's not a bad thing - we can do all we can do, and leave the rest to God, or fate if you're not a believer. Either way, it's not all up to you.
Really interesting to hear your interview with Vidya. I didn't expect you to talk about the emotional link especially left side of the body storing the past emotions and right representing the future. You're spot on. There is decades of medical studies supporting the emotional link to most illnesses. Science has also confirmed trauma is passed through your ancestors. They have traced back 21 generations of trauma in the body. We carry so much without realising. The awareness part I can relate to. It's shadow work and inner child work in therapy.
Here only for Vidya Balan mam❤️
Woow❤...what an interview...🎉...she is absolutely true!
She is so real and so intelligent..her words make so much sense..I simply love her❤❤
wonderful episode. one of the most honest and authentic conversation..
We are two sisters. Both diagnosed with pcos. We have an uncle and he has a son. Every line she spoke is so similar to me and my family. We are like the boys in the family.
It was as simple as dont have to break open the coconut, your cousin will do it. And we never allowed it
That's an absolute revelation for me. This feels so relatable. My father left my mom because him and his family were expecting a boy to be born when she conceived me. All my childhood I felt I was somehow responsible for everything that happened. I wished 100s of times that if I was a boy then things would have been different. I am not neglecting the fact that a bad lifestyle also added to it. But I sometimes wonder why I seek comfort in food. And as a child I never got to express all of this to anyone and food became a constant companion and comfort. Which has led to PCOD now. Thank you for giving me something to explore about myself.
I healed pcos completely after realising it’s majorly psychological
how ... can you plzz ..??? tell me... i have pcod...
I wants to know how
This is really sad....when i watched her videos i did get a feel something is terribly wrong or rather sad with her...now i know the reason ...be strong lady ❤
I don't know how, but what they said is completely true abt me tooooo
Ranveer❤ for making such informative yet eye opening show
She is so beautiful. Her voice is so sweet and her energy is so honest. Fell in love from the first time I saw her in Euphoria 'kabhi aana tu meri gali'.
She’s me. Learnt a lot. Thank you for bringing her to the show.
Also the right side indicated the emotional issues related to ur profession work etc & left side deals with family and close ones ... Shoulder pains burdened by responsibility and so on .. read Louise hay..you can heal your life for more ...👍☺️
Vidya balan you have done extremely good ,set standards of acting in such adversities, just keep healing.
❤❤❤❤❤❤too relatable....I want to be as confident as her.
I can do much relate to her as I have thyroid and am sad everytime I'm by myself
You definitely have my sub. This content is next level. For me cannafarm ltd was the turning point. Please keep doing what you do and keep being you, love it.
Wow brilliant explanation 😊
This certainly sounds good too, but I think its still worth considering more reliable options like traditional businesses such as cannafarm ltd, for example.
It's too relatable for many of girls...It's too much tough to face it
Please bring Malvika Hegde on show (CEO Of CCD)
Awesome vlog Brother
What a deep ,relatable conversation
Daughters are a blessing. I have an amazing big brother. But he is busy with his work due to which he has to travel so I take care of my parents. So Big Deal. Our parents are mine as much as his. Son or Daughter, parents are our responsibility.
Can totally relate with it. Was bullied with weight loss issues during teenage and it really affected self confidence
She is absolutely correct.💖👍
My kurta size is extra large, my husband were M ( medium) size. Surprisingly, I comfortable with my husband's medium size trousers/ shirts. When I told it, a shopkeeper said kurtas made in female such a shape that it happens. Women need to become more skinny than men !
Feels like she is talking about me ¡ I can so much relate to her
Vidya balan should be awarded as national crush .. beauty with brains & she’s so sweet ❤️always loved her
I just admire this woman 🖤
I just got the answer of my questions related to pcod. The doctors never answered my questions they kept giving me those pills
That’s because I don’t think they’re trained on the lines of all these emotional and other factors being the cause of such health conditions. They just diagnose & treat according to the symptoms in the body.
Never heard someone saying something so mature as vidya and sara Ali khan..❤
omg i never knew i needed this
When we grew up being a boy was always aspirational for Indian girls. The best compliment that me n my sister got from my dad is that you're by betas. N I can totally relate to what she said. No matter what we do for our parents some ppl will find a way to feel sorry for my parents or attribute our actions to someone else. "O b honest, u must regret in ur heart that u don't have a son" said a domestic help to my mom while being on my mom's payroll. So no wonder we grew up rejecting the feminine
Your father giving complement by calling you and your sister 'betas' is again implying that betas are more competent and superior!
You are competent. And complements, praise need not be associated with gender.
M b pcod, thyroid, edema ye sbkuch face kr chuki hu because am not comfortable with my body... confidence ptani kha chla gya....but sahi time pe satvic diet follow ki mine or results bhut ache mile....m yhi bolungi jisko b ye sari prblms h trust me satvic diet is very helpful..
Me as well. 2nd daughter. Had Pcos. Fully healed. Address diet, trauma and toxins. It's all about self worth.
Body shaming is also racism towards a very normal person. Vidya is actually the most beautiful and intelligent inside out. The only one in the industry in fact. She has my Ma's name "VIDYA"❤ World needs many like her. I too suffer from hypothyroidism since childhood and evn coming frm a doctors family no1 knew abt it !! It was diagnosed at the time of my second pregnancy and the TSH value was 150 !! I had to do churn myself very hard to be a zero figure. Met my aunt after many yrs as her fit hubby was in ICU due to heart surgery and she said, tuh toh apni mummy se bhi moti ho gai (though my mum passed away 13 yrs ago).
I wanted to say am fat outside but thin inside as I've no cholesterol issues no any other issue despite harmonal.!!
I know she must have called all other maasi, maamis to enjoy finding me moti NOW!
She should start her own TH-cam channel
Her smile can make anyone's day...its beautiful and relaxing❤❤❤
Love you Vidhya❤
EVERY SINGLE LINE! 100% relatable
So relatable! 😢
Very TRUE maam
Vidya didi you are beautiful in every way I can ever imagine 💕
She is so sensible
Vidya ❤every word i can feel..
This is so damn relatable!!!!
So relatable..
Yeahhhhhh there's a difference between saying psyche has a real influence on soma - which it absolutely does - and saying all illness is a manifestation of psychological problems. It's basically blaming sickness on someone not "fixing" themselves and it's not right, not to mention, just not true. Yes, unprocessed emotions and worries will wreck your nervous system, and that obviously has a domino effect on other things; it matters where you direct and how you manage your energy, you can basically self-harm with channeling all your anger inwards and get autoimmune issues - but you can also get heart disease from just giving in to anger and being aggressive towards others. It's also proven that motivation is hugely important in getting better, and it's also logical that if you hate a particular part of yourself, you're targeting it for not being healthy or just feeling bad. (We're talking about sustained, long term stress here, not immediate effects - unless it's autosuggestion). But all that does not mean that everything you experience physically is a direct result of these things, or that sickness doesn't fall on you, or is cured, without any particular rhyme or reason, too. Your lifestyle will influence your physical health far more. And also, you can take care of yourself as well as humanely possible, and still get sick - in fact, you *will* get sick one way or another, sooner or later. The very act of living uses up our bodies. So, like. Of course take care of yourself. Of course take any and all opportunity to reflect on yourself and your mental health. But don't fall into magical thinking.
So much motivational
Brilliant woman!
I don't just believe but I know vidya balan is one of the sexiest woman ever been in film industry!!!
GREAT VIDEO! Kudos to VB on opening up on issues that women prefer to hide behind a superiority complex. Ranveer, is it possible to share the name and number of the physiotherapist you mentioned? Wld like to consult her too, pls....thks.
Thanks Vidya Balan for being open ❤
Sooo true....
I also have pcos and I can feel it. I do workout regularly but still face difficulties to loose weight
Amazing video
Omg what a vedio body is reflection of mind
Vidya mam you should go with ayurveda, panchkarma, detoxification.
god she is so relatable
She is beautiful ❤ very good actress ❤
Wow ❤
kudos to u vidya balan!!
How many English movies Vidya balan has done in India,
अंग्रेजी में ज्यादा सहज लग रहे है आप लोग।
पहली लाइन अंग्रेजी में लिखा कि आप लोग स्किप न करें।
This is the reason I always like her , she always speaks logically ❤
Omg i love her❤
this made crazy sense to me im
