One main and multiple tracks in support. But with Prince it was spherical. She said you could rotate track to track and any one of them could be the lead or background.

Not to take ANYTHING away from Prince...as if....but the framework is that there are myriad of potential "Princes".
We are not ever just seeing a lone diamond in the rough, no, we are seeing the effects of oppressive systems that suppress the emergence and livelihood of artistic geniuses like Prince.
Point n case : at least a third of the commenters in the thread UNDERSTAND Prince's genius
How many can dabble or replicate is a slightly different matter but nonetheless, the human artistic excellence is there...but how is it supported...suppressed?
THAT'S more concerning to me than tokenizing artists.
      Edit:
I don't think he made his music hard to cover simply so other artists couldn't cover him. I think it was to also make it hard for his music to co-opted and cheaply used and sampled by capitalists for shitty commercials and propaganda.

No,no,no comparison, music is just your inspiration, they both composed, produced, and written songs, prince may plays many instruments it's just gift ,like in the bible, some receive more gifts than the others, all prince albums have sold around 150 millions, when just one Michael album sells 120 millions copies ,l don't even need to named it,l'll let you guess, many artists like Steve Wonder, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, boosty Colins, sting, Teddy Riley, babyface,r.kelly etc... are multi-instrumentalists,why we Nevers mention their musical gifs, for me playing several instruments is just a plus, that doesn't make you the goat, like l said before, God gives more gifts than others, the most important is how and why you use it, prince is very talented, makes beautifull songs,a showman,etc... Michael calls himself an instrument of nature in this way God gives him the inspiration to share is love and messages of peace for a better world to through his music and his others gifts for the general interest and not for his own ego, me,myself and l,that the différence between the two, Michael is not afraid to collaborate with others,to bringing out the best from the artists with whom he collaborates, you can see it in the rehearsals of the this it tour how he works with his musicians and espacialy the guitarist woman he controls everything, you said when we asked prince who is better of the two and he smiles that means a lot , Michael set the bar very high it exeeds what is the true définition of the greatest artists of all the time in all the fields ,the day of his death, the internet connexion exploded more than the day of the élection of the first black president of the united states Barack Obama.may they both rest in peace, may God bless you in the precious and mighty name of our lord jesus Christ Amen Amen Amen 💯✌️👍🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
