Edit: y'all I'm referring to them saying "teacher" as we say Mr/miss/Mrs. xxx 😂 I don't call my teachers by their names either 😭 we only do that at uni. My initial thought was that if you call out "teacher", multiple teachers will respond
it is an Asian calling jusy like the word Master, a respective name.

Yeah Korean students refer to their teachers as “teacher” in Korean
I normally just call my teachers "teacher" and I live in America
I like that the staff eats amongst the students. It humanizes them for the students.
The best thing Korean government did was to implememt native speaking teachers curriculum in the public schools. Kids growing up these days have far better English pronounciation!

If you wanted to you’d probably really struggle as a lot of people want to be English teachers in SK, so it’s really hard to find an English teaching job in Seoul anyways

This makes the American school system look god awful. I wish school looked as amazing as it does in Korea
When I saw so many students raise their hands, my first thought was: “Wow, you don’t see that here.” And it’s true, teachers have to force students to speak in classes where I am. I’m not sure if this is just a here thing or everywhere though.

Don't forget to do a tefl or tesol course and police check lol good luck!! Honestly I wish I were you.. bcuz I'm supposed to be in 12th grade this year but I dropped out of school after grade 9 so I still have to do schooling online and then go to university anyway next year ima get my tefl so I can teach online and make money throughout my journey..

Honestly I really wish my foreign language classes we as organized as this. I live in America and only 5% of the class actually want to learn. Everyone else goofs off and disrespects the teacher. Awww thank you! 😊 And actually my skin is SUPER acne prone and I've struggled with it for most of my life. It wasn't until I started taking medication for it and got my autoimmune disease in check that it started clearing up.
I know this comment is super old, but if you happen to see this I recommend using the Indian clay mask for acne and the AMBI fade cream for scars and dark spots ✨

Their school lunch is so nice and looks a lot healthier than what I ate throughout my school years, even in college now food choices aren’t as great

She reminded me of my native English teacher after school in elementary school. He always carried a red crab doll with him, and it was so cute that I wanted to have it. On the last day, he called out the student's name written on the citation, and I still remember him working hard read our name. English was difficult at that time, but it was a good memory.☺

These kids are so happy, at my school we are trembling because oh the fact that our school is the best in my city the teachers are so severe and they care more about their reputation than our feelings
