The Apeks VX1 Mask is a single lens snorkel or dive mask with a low internal volume and wide field of vision. The frameless design of the VX-1 brings the glass lens closer so you have a wider field of vision compared to a framed mask.
WHO'S THE VX1 FOR?
Any diver or snorkeller will find the VX1 comfortable and because of it's low volume it's easy to clear. Small features all over the mask make it more comfortable and seal better than other masks but it is also available with a UV Lens for additional protection for your eyes.

Great mask, I've been diving it for 2 years now.
Looks a lot like the Oceanic Shadow dive mask. How does this compare to the Shadow?
Love those cases but only for long term storage. I like to wash my case after a dive as well, all those fabric cases will be soaked after the dive and salt crystals will form when dry.
Do you ship to the US?
Whenever i see videos talking about frameless, why is the word backup always used. I use a frameless as my main mask because i literally dont like anything else but frameless. Or am i missing something here? Also love ur channel and videos i watch daily
The frameless design comes from technical diving. They need it in order to be easily stored away in a pocket and be used as a backup. With most frame masks it is quite difficult to stow them away due to their bigger size.
Ofcours you can use the frameless for recreational diving or snorkeling too.

Is this great For small faces?
I'd say yes. I have a relatively small face and it fits very well.
Less of a review and more of an "anatomy of a mask" lesson but still enjoyable.
UV or non-UV, what do you recommend?
The UV lens is better protection for your eyes and cuts out dangerous wavelengths of light. Even if you dive in less-sunny places, they will still protect your eyes from long-term damage.

How yellow does the UV lens make things look?
@@Pete63 Your eyes adapt to it very fast. It makes things yellow, but you don't question it after 1 min. And yellow is not bad … it makes things warmer.
Mask sinks. So if you drop it in water, be ready to dive without mask to fish it out.
