  • Unusual historical spring high tide plus strong SW wind was enough to make a flood happend in Portsmouth area and along the seafront.

I grew up in Broad Street (number 37), so this brings back memories for me from the days when the tide used to come in! We had flood boards and people would bring sandbags round but the sea still came in! The sea defences hadn't been built back then - hopefully most of the time they hold the sea back successfully! Great video! ^_^

Shopping and eating at Gunwarfe Quays is really excellent. One of my work colleagues bought an apartment there (when it was all being built 25 years ago) and everyone questioned her logic but those apartments are worth millions now! Beautiful area 🙏👌

They could be underwater if tide surges continue to be escalating as they are…

Great video, well shot. The music is annoying, and I'd rather hear the water, wind, and whatever you were saying.

@@MarcinJedrysiakPhortography I prosecuted PCC for running a construction site 24/7 within 90 meters of my home preventing me from sleeping. In a six month period they kept me awake all night 129 times and only worked during the day 36 times. They lied in court and claimed the night work had ended but it hasn't and still goes on now, fifteen months later. I moved out of my home last June but the whole thing has been a web of corruption.

BBC weather also said that the solar eclipse also had an effect on tidal.movements
