Shedding a bit of light on the rearlight, Andy, it is likely that the indicator and brakelight lenses on your reference picture are later additions, probably during restoration, for compliance: the A40 Devons would have had trafficators in the B-post of the pop-out arm type. The single rear lamp would more likely have been a tail-light/numberplate light - a bit of a carryover from before the war. It would likely have been black, and maybe made of Bakelite, and the front 'indicators' would have been sidelights. I do like the livery and it suits the period of the van quite well, too, even with the more modern lettering. Love the rims! NEAT, and a great thought.
I was going to do it back to original at first but I’d had the idea for a charity van for a while. I was running out of time before I went on holiday so it had to be one colour too. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
