    Looks like the Slash is running well. The Losi looks like it could use some suspension tuning. I love the challenging driving characteristics of a 2wd. The 4x4 usually owns the dirt. Rpm makes the offset compensating front arms for use with 4x4 wheels.

      Yeah I think I need to change the shock fluid on the Losi…maybe go a bit thicker…I didn’t know Rpm made different arms for different offsets??

    Just found this vid, I’ve just bought a Slash 2WD myself. I’m not racing or anything, I just have a bit of fun. I have always wanted a stadium truck and mine has the Hawaiian body and I think they look pretty sweet. Im going to do a few mods to it, it’s in excellent condition and barely used so it should last me for the longest time. Everyone I’ve seen say the shocks aren’t the greatest so I may upgrade those first, and then some tyres. I was thinking I might put a Ford Raptor body onto it but they’re pretty expensive and I’d rather spend it on mods to go faster or last longer. That orange body looks really really nice, awesome colour for sure!

    Ever since upgrading to brushless and then VXL axles in my 2wd, I can't keep a set of rear wheels on. The hub hexes are fine, but the nuts keeping spinning themselves off and the nylon that's supposed to hold them in wears away. I started dabbing the nut and axle with loctite every time I change wheels or tires and it's been working so far. I might pickup some hex claws just to have around in case I'm ever in a pinch.

    • @RCKnockout

    I put my rustler 4x4 wheels on my slash and it stops it from rolling so much and alot better traction!

  • @lizard3348
    @lizard3348 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    locking your diff should also help with the wheel hexes, aswell as turns, no clue if you've considered it/done it already but its my 2 cents

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Locking the diff will be more likely to destroy my hexes actually

    • @tmar352
      @tmar352 ปีที่แล้ว

      Locking the diff will not make it turn better or save the hexes will do the opposite of everything you said 😂. Locking the diff will make it drift and slide out more and you will probably blow the diff if you ever go brushless.

    Slower is faster it seems to go around the track better than the losi

      The 2wd definitely takes more patience and finesse to get around the track

    Might be the diff butt lose the steel shafts there not necessarry and weight to much on the rear.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unless they break I’m not changing them just for a bit of weight savings…if I switch back to the plastic ones they’ll just break on me anyways

    traxxas will never be able to compete with tekno, associated, or losi. amazes me how people pocketbooks convince them that traxxas is competitive on the track. hilarious
