I am a giant fan of Ishmael AND Hong Lu. Ishmael gets half of the points just for being a sailor (I sail), while the rest goes for the illusion of sanity and hair. Hong Lu is just hot boy. I would love to let him rearrange my organs and for him to go full roseate corrosion. I can’t stress this enough.

worthy of note: yoshihide - the character ryoshu is based off of - had a daughter who he absolutely doted on, and... well... she suffered a horrible fate at the end of that story. which begs the question: if mom ryoshu is canon, *what the fuck sort of horrible project moon-typical fate befell her child?*
