BIG CORRECTION: WARP SANG NEEDS 10 CHARGE COUNT, NOT 11. HE JUST NEEDS TO USE 1 SKILL 1 BEFORE A SKILL 2. WHOOOPS IM STUPID MY FAULT. This makes Warp Sang a *LOT* better than I was making him out to be. He's better than Ring Sang unless you use Dimension Shredder. Also just, dont use KK HL on a rupture team. lol.
It does make it A LOT better, requiring 1 turn of set up with only a skill 1 compared to requiring 3 turns of set up with 2 skill 1s and a skill 2. The fact that he gets to benefit from his skill 2 2 turns earlier and benefits from 2 of them instead of one is huge given they both inflict 3 count and 6 potency. He's definitely the most reliable count applier aside from lantern Don with a potency application close to rivaling 7 heath. I think you should play him a bit more with that skill 2 mechanic in mind and see how it feels, it becomes very apparent why he's the poster boy of rupture IDs.
Not to beat a dead horse but oh my god this video has done a lot of harm to how people view rupture and I want to say first that this doesn't come out of malice or anything, just a critique to some of your points on w yi sang vs ring yi sang. >W sang needs a lot of ramp up You forgot that rambling man gives him 4 charge next turn, meaning that he always reaches his 10 count conditional no matter if he starts at 0 charge. And his 15 charge conditional the turn after. You are relying on a lot of support to make ring sang good. Aedd, talisman, rambling man... This only realistically works on railway but not anymore since railway 4 benefits charge a lot more and hurts talisclair's viability. In story content you admitted that w sang is better and in md he's better just by virtue of activating rupture gifts. So, where do you exactly use ring yi sang? By only relying on rambling man ring sang is: Skill 1 +0 and 20% of +5 Skill 2 +0 and 48% of +3 (supposing that reuses are guaranteed which they aren't without talisclair or random tremor) Skill 3 -1 and 20% of +2 Or better yet: Skill 1 +0 80% of the time Skill 2 +0 52% of the time Skill 3 -1 80% of the time While wii sang is Skill 1 100% +0 Skill 2 100% +2 Skill 3 100% +5 You are relying way too much on luck to make him work and rupture is a status that you need to know how much you are inflicting or how much you are eating in order to plan ahead. You complained at the beginning about it being unreliable but rupture can be played in a very reliable and interesting way if you remove all the rng from ring sang and talisclair. Not to mention that without talisclair to help out w sang's potency infliction becomes much more valuable. Also, another note is that ring sang 100% needs rambling man to work while w sang can afford some turns where the passive isn't active because skill 1>skill 2 guarantees that it becomes neutral. Another error that you made is thinking that the 10+ refers to 11 or above. 10+ in limbus means 10 or greater so skill 1 + skill 2 guarantees the conditional (4-1+7=10)
This is what happened in the mirror world where esgoo and kaskozhuk had a child but got disowned by esgoo because he chose W corp charge so he hides his daddy issues with roblox
despite people calling you mirror world esgoo or kaskozhuk i think this video is pretty unique and really good the only similarity is "limbus status infomational video", but other than that I would not compare you to other bigger channels you did a good job, awesome video 👌
Its amazing how rupture needs you to think so much for stuff like meat don and tali sinclair and then theres mr sinking and mr yellow tremor over here not having to worry about anything cuz they got too much count application
counterpoint to warpsang being A tier at best: dude his animations are so cool holy shit man it's so cool you don't understand how cool it is man it's better to sandbag and not run ring-sang because he's just so cool you don't need to have ringsang to succeed on rupture anyways man it's fine man he's so cool man just run him anyways man he's just so cool man
fuck man you're so right i cant believe how terribly wrong I was hes the top of S+ tier solely for those animations, vfx, and sound design mmfgh its so crunchy in a good way fraudulent ring sang has a single page of sprites on the other hand...heh...d tier at best...and his coin reuse? heh...stapled on...hes so lame...
@@wAgent the only thing ring yi sang has is the funny look on his skill 2 while my KING has good sound design, good vfx and the coolest skill three animation ingame an E.G.O to go with him AND theres no art that I know of where he is taking b💟ckshots
Personally i think you can maka good argument for Warp sang. For starters i find that going a skill 1 into skill 2 is actually fairly good as if you target an enemy with no rupture on them you can easily start the stack of (3,3) with his skill two on second turn. i feel this helps him carry his weight during the beginning few turns has (3,3) rupture on second turn is a really good stack starter. Or you could give a free two procs and some extra potency/count on anyone else. For the skill three you can solve the windup through skill slots. in human fights, having warp sang as your first deployed unit will make it so that on turn two he has and extra skill slot, and in focused encounters you can throw one of you less useful rupture units into the abyss to give him an extra skill slot there. Furthermore, to help with his charge something that wasn't brought up in the video is the first two lines of dimension shredders passive, witch states as follows: "At the start of the turn, if this unit took no damage last turn, gain +4 charge count". This solves most of the problems he faces, as now you don't lose one charge at turn end but rather gain three, because of this you can use a skill two right after dimension shredder to immediately gain 11 charge, fulfilling the bare minimum requirement of his skill three at 10, and fulfilling his 15 charge requirement next turn if you use any skill other than his evade or skill three next turn. With this in mind lets take two scenarios in mind, one with ideal E.G.O. resources [any of the canto dungeons, MD, railway (scene #1)] and one where you have none stored (seeing as warp sang is the only source of sloth other than 7-Outis, g-corp Gregors skill 2 and k-corps skill 3, who you probably shouldn't be using for a rupture team as stated in the video, we will factor out using Dimension Shredder) [regular story (scene #2)] In scene #1, we will ensure that Yi-Sang has two skill slots turn 2, and start off with dimension shredder. Then on second turn we'll use two of our four skill twos, boosting us up to 17 charge at turn end [ (x = ) 4 + 7 + 7 - 1] and max (20) charge by next turn (x + 4). Then, on the third turn use a maxed skill three and then use a skill two, leaving you with exactly enough charge to use dimensional rift again next turn (20 - 15 + 7 + 4 - 1). Alternatively, you may use a skill 1 if you don't see any skill three's coming to build up charge while not using up anything usefull. Note: all skill 2's requirements will be fulfilled due to them gaining 7 charge on use allowing for the on hit effect to proc (turn two: 4 + 7 = 11 + 7 = 18 | turn three = 20 - 15 = 5 + 7 = 12 ) All in all, not factoring in any outside (de)buffs like talisman or spark discharge and assuming good speed ranges, on x Yi Sang will inflict a total rupture of : [ 1x (0,0) ], [ 2x (6,4) ], [ 3x (15,5) ] Assuming that all attacks hit the same target the rupture application on x(total) would be (20,10), dealing a total of 62 pure rupture damage. Again, this is assuming that there is nothing and no body outside of WARP Sang, with a full team in reality the damage would be much higher. In scene #2, we will give warp sang two skill slots as last time. this goes mostly the same as the first scene, now replacing DS with a typical skill one and an identical skill two, though with slightly less count due to the lack of DS, ending the turn with 17 charge. On turn three use a maxed skill three. This time, instead of using a skill two use a skill one to put you at 5 charge allowing you to use a skill two and skill one leaving you at 15 charge, 3 sloth, and 3 gluttony next turn to use a skill three and a Dimension shredder, after witch you can loop back to following scenario one to the best of your ability with the skills left, assuming that the encounter isn't over by now somehow. I wont (cant) calculate the rupture application this time since took longer than expected the first time, instead, ill give the general gist. the main change is that the skill three has to be used on something that already has rupture on it similar to 7-fausts skill 2, and it cant hold its own due to dimensional rift being applied turn end. One thing id like to mention that useful for any charge/poise/self-tremor teams in focused encounters is that if you have a unit with multiple skills slots, the moves will be played in the order in you selected them in, so if i have a skill three in my second skill slot it can drag it to who i want to target then do the same for a skill two in my first skill slot (or vice versa) to either gain enough charge to use a skill three or use my charge before using a skill to gain it back.
Goddamn is this video well made, and highly insightful into how rupture teams work. It feels so odd that rupture compared to other archetypes is so... weak and inconsistent in-spite of being objectively one of the strongest status in a vacuum, with so many ids that roll low, fuck all for count generation, No E.G.Os that can provide raw count as skills (Instead having it be delayed in some way via Status effects, which ngl is just worse) and and yet a dependence on E.G.O passives to maintain count. It's kinda sad compared to most archetypes. Burn is very E.G.O spammy but those E.G.O it does spam are good and it's 3 stars roll incredibly well with conditionals, also Dark Flame existing means burn can passively do big numbers. Bleed has the Ring ids and Sanguine Desires (I'd say both Bleed and Burn are worse than Rupture in some ways, whether it be the High amount of E.G.O resources Burn wants or how some burn and bleed ids are just a hot pack of ass, but credit where credit is due). Tremor is unironically popping off with Everlasting and Reverb and is getting more 2 More IDs as I speak, so I'm kinda pressed to say that its worse, if anything looking like it's better and easier to manage, potential be dammed. Sinking has most of it's good units have at least 1 count positive skill, Has Echoes of the Manor to help with count, alongside the liquid crack that is Rime Shank for everything. Poise... is Poise, it isn't really an archetype the same way other status are when it's outside of mirror dungeon, but most modern units with poise are good. Charge has big numbers, Telepole Don, and depression since they haven't gotten an id in 7 months. W Yi Sang with all of his faults still easily being 1 of the best men for the job he's meant to do on a Rupture Team, is sad in a way no other archetype has ever made me feel sad.
I can't lie, you bring up very valid points as to why Wsang isn't as good as people say he is for rupture. However, I have a retort. He looks cool. (also sunk cost fallacy)
Ringsang mention let's goo!! I've been hyping him since day 2 when I noticed a possible Rambling Man + AEDD setup, but most people just keep saying "but he's not rupture" :(. He is actually so fun for Rupture haha
I don't know what it is, but I keep coming back to this video every week, your writing, delivery and editing are great, on top of this being the best resource for rupture information. Will come back for more content of this kind.
Genuinely such a thoroughly thought-out and funny video, I actually didnt know what rupture did so I didnt care about rupture IDs so thank you for telling me :)
Damn, your guide is like a top tier with really helpful insight and also being hilarious and entertaining at the same time. Now i kinda wanna guide for other teams even if other people already made a guide about it.
Hey hey! Passing by here just to say that this is probably one of the best guide videos I’ve seen yet, and I say that with a lot of bias! Tl;dr with rupture If it’s a unit, pray they have good coin rolls And if they have good coin rolls, pray they have good rupture count. I really like your editing style and presentation overall! Can’t imagine how long this might’ve taken, but you did good in getting straight to point and actually showing EXAMPLES! Or demonstrations on how to use the ID or team overall. You did good on also talking in a fast pace, but not too fast for the viewer to get lost by. You stand out really well overall with your style, sure there may be slight inspiration taken from other limbustubers but this is by far one of the best guides I’ve seen lol Hope your exams also went well! Those can be a huge pain in the butt. Other than that, I’ll be hopeful more people check out your video! And I’ll also be hopeful you improve with your animation skills since it seems you like you put in a lot of effort into them! And just improve with your editing skills overall!
Thank you thank you! It means a lot to me to hear that. I did pretty well on my exams, except for my foreign language class. I still *somehow* passed the class though. I'm glad you enjoyed it a lot! I'm gonna be gone for the next month so I'm probably just gonna spend that time practicing my animating skills, maybe drawing too, since I really want to integrate animated skits into each future video. Once again ty ty
Fun tip; if you ever you end up in a position where you have Sinclair’s talisman counter be four and any other move would either get rid of his skill 3 or put him over, activate his resonance passive. Upon hit 3 things happen. 1 his Talisman’s activate and apply 4 rupture, 2 the rupture activated his passive and gives him one more talisman (making 5), 3 and finally his on hit effect activates clearing the talismans on him (with his second coin kickstarting his next cycle and giving him one more talisman).
One thing to note about Warp Sang. You will almost always use his Dimension shredder on turn one, before applying count. And so you can build sinclair talisman stacks. Which, the passive does give 4 charge count if he isn’t hit. With his skill 2, that immediately puts him at 11 on turn 2, making him count neutral straight away. And even after consuming all his charge with his S3, again, the next turn he has 4 charge, and so a single skill 2 puts him above the threshold required. So, just in my opinion. He’s a little better than you give him credit for. The problem is that in fights like Siltcurrent, that passive can’t kick in until after the first turn, due to the unopposable attacks. As well, like you said, he can’t take advantage of the stack as much. But I’d argue that’s better. You’ll mostly be using his skill 2, which is gluttony, you’d rather it not waste the Spark Discharge stacks. Though, Ring Yi Sang is a funny pick, just out of being better on a technicality. But, I like going *fast*. And Yi Sang scratches that itch. He’s always first, pretty much. Which gives you a bunch of freedom in clashing, since he can allow Sinclair or Gregor to not take an attack they otherwise couldn’t handle. So, yeah. Also, I like W-corp.
Also, one more note, use his Dodge instead of his skill one, it maintains the count, and it gives him more potency on his next hit. I know, it sounds strange, but unless you need the sloth EGO resource, just don’t use it, use his evade. Which is also gloom, so even better. With Dim shredder passive, you always have 4 charge a turn if you don’t get hit. So you don’t *need* his skill one at all. Ta-da.
PS PS, just a funny pick you can do. If you are running low on Sloth generation. Use Zwei Greg in place of Rospanner, yes, you’re losing the Envy. But it fixes sloth, and if you’re willing to Bench talisman sinclair, he will make use of it’s passive, almost always, and his skill 2 is a 4 coin. With an easy 4 or 5 gluttony res, that can easily be 8 talisman, which, in one skill, is 32 Rupture potency. And with his skill 3 being a Gloom, it’s count neutral, alternatively, you can just block with him, just for some more sloth. And let him just ego whenever he wants to use a skill.
Really good points actually, I didnt mention his dodge because I just, straight up forget he has one since every other rupture unit has a guard. I'm definitely going to try out that Zwei Gregor strategy cause that's actually very creative.
Not sure if this is what you were trying to convey, but his S2 Charge conditionals happen AFTER the On Use effect. If you use S1 into S2, the S2 will first give 7 charge, which brings him up to 10, and then he is at 10 charge, gaining coin power and rupture count.
The bench talisman strat can work on 7 heath s3 if you keep your other units hp below his (level them carefully). This means you can get quite a lot of potency turn one by abusing sheep don s2 to kickstart the count. And weirdly enough, effervescent corrosion Hong lu can be used here as one of the few gluttony sources of count (the corrosion gives 2 counts at 5 resonance).
I did not watch the video yesterday because I was expecting yet another half-baked video by a person who does not understand Rupture well, specifically when taking this one video into consideration where another well-known person in the PM community called W Yi Sang a core unit for rupture and giving him S-rank rating. Jesus Christ. I'm happy that I gave your video a chance. Thank you for setting the record straight! Edit: Also good take on LCCB Ishmael. She's one of my favorite units, great for Rupture and Sinking, cheap to obtain and maintain since 2-star, and typically very underrated.
@@cereal8193 watch the video lol As a generalist decent but not great, for rupture not fast/consistent enough without spending EGO resources. (And even when I would use EGO, then rather AEDD instead of DS). In other words, when I want to build a generalist team, he's not in. When I want to build a rupture team for the stuff where rupture actually matters (bosses/low turn count railway) he's not in. A unit that is not in the team under most circumstances cannot be S tier.
So great vid I’m gonna steal that chart for a guide I built for people who want to get into team building. (I don’t use rupture a lot so this is incredibly helpful.)
To be fair, she is designed to be closer to the LoR counterparts with all the fragility she inflicts. I honestly kind of wish 7 assosiation had more ids on this basis as there's really not much on it, but pm needed to put all the ids in the certain status effect ways like they did with Cinq later on 😭.
Considaring that her uptie story talks about how she doesn't fit in with the 7 association that's probably intentional. Her slash fragile is also a poor cosplay at weakness analysed.
My impression is that Ryoshu really dislikes being part of a group (or adhering to the group's principles). She simply does what she wants to do. Liu Ryoshu expresses this pretty clear in her uptie story (although she at least does apply plenty burn with that ID). Also LCCB Ryoshu to a certain extent iirc.
(Note : i will refer to rupture through (x,y); X = potency, Y = count) Ok so in defence of warp Yi-Sang who i believe you have done unbelievably dirty; so much so that i actually have doubts that you even tried using him prior to making this video. For starters I find that going from skill 1 into skill 2 is actually fairly good as if you target an enemy with no rupture on them you can easily start the stack of (3,3) with his skill two on second turn. i feel this helps him carry his weight during the beginning few turns has (3,3) rupture on second turn is a really good stack starter (which you had earlier praised lantern don for doing with three less potency). or give a free two procs and some extra potency/count on anyone else. In addition you should focus on his skill two as the focus of his kit and his skill three as an extra bonus for using his second skill; it is the cherry on top of the cake that is his second skill. And about that skill three, you had complained about how it took a long time to build up, to which say; Duh. that's like the entire gimmick of charge. nobody complaining about warp Ryoshu because she takes three turns to get off a full 15 charge D.D.E.D.R. or two turns to buff leap, it has a good payoff and that's what matters. Plus most units skill threes in general will take a good few turn at least to make full effect of, but i digress; Because this two can be solved through skill slots. in human fights, having warp sang as your first deployed unit will make it so that on turn two he has and extra skill slot, and in focused encounters if you really want, can throw one of you less useful rupture units into the abyss to give him an extra skill slot there. Furthermore, to help with his charge, something I haven't seen you bring up is the first two lines of dimension shredder passive, which state as follows: "At the start of the turn, if this unit took no damage last turn, gain +4 charge count". The last thing i'll end on is don't say ring sang is "objectively better" than WARP for a rupture team when hes so unbelievably dependant on fairly low RNG odds to deal any count, and it is downright hypocritical to say that WARP is a "good unit but not a good rupture unit" and is "one of the most glazed ID's" and then bring up mf RING YI-SANG, who is a much better example of a "good unit but not a good rupture unit" and a much worse example of an actual rupture unit. Though at least he's not a "glazed ID", it's not like he has anything that 18:13 "everyone has talked about" or how broken it is. The mf is as glazed as BL Murasualt. Additionally, we are focusing on rupture damage and not pure damage, yes he does good damage, but this is a _rupture team_, we want to focus on rupture. it makes as much sense as putting WARP Ryoshu or N-Clair on a rupture team because they do good damage. he fits as well on a rupture team as well as he does on a sinking or burn team, Yes, he does good damage due to the debuffs but he doesn't help that much with actual rupture; nor burn, nor sinking, nor tremor. Furthermore talisman is an iffy argument at best seeing as setting that up on one opponent is already a hassle and hes pretty much locked to attacking that one target because without that he has fuck all synergy. and lord forbid you bring the man into any human fights, because the chances of you actually hitting the guy with talisman on him is low at best. Finally, dimension shredder is basically impossible with him as again, it requires three sloth, and ring sang is the only source of sloth unless you bring any of the above listed. and the only sloth in Ring Yi-Sangs kit is on the skill three, meaning you need seven turns at the barest minimum to actually get enough sloth to fuel Dimension shredder. I'm not saying that this man isn't busted as shit, not even saying that he doesn't do really good damage on this team. but he doesn't synergise with rupture, he synergies with *status effects*, it's a one way thing where he benefits from a rupture team (its status effects) but rupture doesn't benefit from him.
To dead rabbit's meursault defense, he is pretty decent in md because you can get infinite rupture count with ego gifts (thunderbranch) and clashing high is pretty important there. He is very bad everywhere else though.
Mans just came out of nowhere dropping a banger for me to watch at work. Got through the video This confirmed my greatest fear: that dead rabbits meursalt isnt that good for rupture. He's so cool imo and i was kinda hoping there was something I was missing for when I put together a rupture team.
I'm right there with you, when he dropped I really really wanted him to work on a rupture team, but he just doesn't have the count application to function properly
this kept showing up on my homepage and the roblox limbus characters haunted my every day so i clicked and after watching i have decided i would rather play sinking thanks mirror world esgoo
I think I’m gonna have to go out of hibernation to talk about the new Rodya, she seems very very good just from what her kit does. It looks like her S3 will be very count positive, and once the rupture stack is high enough, loses all count application to get an extra coin of rupture damage. Her S1 and S2 not affecting rupture count is extremely powerful especially with her coin count. It honestly feels like a powercrept dead rabbit meursault lol
@@wAgent :D Yaaaay, that is insanely good news for me, I quite like your video work and style / sense of humor, so hearing that more is coming is excellent. I also agree on all fields about what Rodya might turn out to be, and we'll have to find out... later tonight. :V
@@Ariamaki Ty Ty, that means a lot to me. I’ve actually been working on 3 limbus related videos, but my college schedule has prevented me from making any real progress on each of them. Though I’m starting to get used to the workflow so definitely expect a new one in the next week or so.
Thank god finally a cc that realizes w yi is not a good rupture id, even with dim shred. W yi pretty much needs dim shred to function like a normal rupture id which means him by himself is bad and ego is not free, they have a sin, action and sp cost. If i want to cast a rupture ego why would I not cast aedd instead which gives 15 rupture count and can be used in 1-2 turn vs dim shred 3 count max a turn. Also some people keep mentioning about dim rift. If you cast this thing turn 1, dim rift does not happen because you dont have charge. And if you cast post turn 1 it can hurt your set up by eating 5 count
My work ethic was fueled by wanting to upload warp sang slander before another CC spouts that W Sang is the best rupture identity in the game (bro needs dimension shredder to be functional)
having a +6 potency +1 count positive (or +3 count when starting a new stack) on a skill 2 is pretty busted given that the only condition is hitting a skill 1 on the first turn. Been spamming him since he was released and I very rarely find dimension shredder helpful outside story content let alone required for him to function. If dimensions shredder didn't exist he'd still be arguably the best rupture ID in the game.
this video was a very interesting watch because I religiously use seven yi sang and K corp hong lu on rupture no matter the content I also use talisman sinclair everywhere because I love the guy and in mirror dungeon, which is the mode I spend most of my time in, base gregor passive on bench basically nulls his talisman overflow self-damage which is really cool
Looking at IDs, it very clear that so many of them are made with multiple skill slots in mind. Would be really nice to have a way to get more skill slots in focused encounters.
Thoughts on running a sinking/rupture hybrid based on gloom spam? I've found it pretty good for solving the issue of bad clashes since you can run fairly strong units like Butler Outis, Ring Sang, Wild Hunt, and Edgar/Zweigor and you can usually get AEDD fueled in about 2 turns since most of these units have envy. You then can just s2 s3 on talisclair and then use gloom to maintain the stack permanently. I've generally found it really easy to manage the stack as soon as AEDD/Talisman are up and even if you don't get good RNG on Talisclair, you can still be fairly well off since you clash extremely high and enemies are constantly negative sanity. Devyat Talisman + Gluttony Res is definitely better in shorter content but this seems incredibly consistent and a lot more preferable than running a regular rupture team in non MD content.
I’ve actually tried that team cause I mostly play Gloom Spam Rupture. It’s very very good, Butler Outis also has the same rupture count application as 7 Outis w/ Ebony Stem. I personally prefer using rupture units over sinking units on a gloom spam team, 7 Faust instantly becomes one of your best units with spark discharge, Edgar Gregor is also better for that team than rosespanner Gregor, and Ring Sang for his gloom accessible S1 Unfort I don’t think it’s better than the current gluttony spam team since gloom spam rupture requires you to have AEDD constantly up past turn 2 vs a turn 1 16 3 stack from Deyvat Rodya
I often straight up complain about how burn is just the same copy pasted units (deal more damage if enemy has burn) outside of like 3 units. But the state of rupture is so weird that you effectively have to use a BLEED ID to make it work along with some weird RNG skill shenanigans ? Hopefully we get more rupture stuff then, jeez! excellent video, love the extra effort of opening roblox studio and making custom models for the sake of doing it~
Ty ty I really appreciate it! and yeah rupture is in a really weird spot, the older rupture identities have fallen off HARD and you're left with barely any usable identities (80% are 2 stars). I really hope we get a rupture identity that does something new with the status effect (like Echoes of the manor for sinking)
@@woolsnik4333 oh I forgot about him, simce I dont have him. I was thinking of Kk gregor. And funnily enough (in theory) in the context of rupture bleed sinergy kk is actually slightly better due to having more coins on a skill 3.
I think my favorite way to play rupture is less as an archetype and more an “Ooo free damage”. Specifically through having talisman sinclair on the bench on a team dedicated to gluttony resonance. At minimum at 4 res the id with the highest applies plus 8 rupture potency scaling the more gluttony res you have. Combine with corroding efflorescencent corrosion hong lu (he’s always gonna have the highest hp if your using k corp. Also don’t be afraid to premptively stack up some amps with his block for the skill count) and with six gluttony res you apply 12 potency and 3 count. Technically the gloom method will get higher results but I despise resetting and lets me use not garbo units
A couple of notes to add that I thought were worth mentioning 1. LCCB Ryoshu’s passive is lying to you. If she is at max SP and has at least 2 poise count (no additional potency required) she will start gaining both one poise potency and poise count every turn, effectively offsetting the turn by turn decay. She’s still a terrible rupture unit because by the time her s3 is ready to do anything the boss is probably dead but she is a functional poise unit. Our standards were really low at the start of season 3 2. Clam Lu is worth keeping in mind for Mirror Dungeon due to the team’s insane gluttony generation. The EGO may as well only cost 1 gloom and some SP to use which is nice since its your most accessible AOE and requires less investment than Shredder, which uses up most of your Pride. Corrosion isn’t good but its a decent alternative if you want to conserve pride resources
I just tested out the LCCB Ryoshu thing, thats actually crazy the passive is straight up lying to you. She's still definitely a bad rupture unit but this makes her poise maintenance bearable. and yeah the main advantage of effervescent corrosion is that it's extremely easy to fuel + envy resistances (insane vs pequod trio ahab)
Quick note for anyone playing MD content: do not take talisclair if you want the fusion gift/standard-duty battery, as it will make his s2 give 6 talismans no matter what
Crazy how the rupture count table is thrown off the window and the name of the game became 1. Get 15 Potency and 3 Count 2. Chainsaw Gregor, LCCB Ish, Base Ryoshu, TTGL Hong Lu: What is my purpose in this comp? Danteh: You are Green 3. 4 Gluttony Reson 4. Go do crime, Devyat Rodion (and Cinqsault)
little bit to add on W sang, if you have the wolf ego on don, he can consistently activate his s3 on turn 1/2. im not really familiar with rupture team ego resource generation since its been a while I used them but pretty sure they can activate it easily. ofc this mean more investment on ego that support a specific class but hey, charge team is pretty strong so its not that bad lf investment since I have a feeling they will release a strong charge id in a month or so. also ring yi sang is like something that you can put any team you want and still do well. im experimenting him with sinking, tremor and burn atm(no bleed because i dont have good bleed id atm) tldr: w sang with really heavy investment (UT IV both him and wolf don ego) can outperform ring yi sang if don can corrode BUT in term of investment, ring yi sang is far more versatile(mostly because his broken s2)
By the way, 7 heath’s passive adds 1 more rupture infliction if you have 4 7 association units. This makes him apply even MORE rupture. So, more reason to run my goat, 7 yi sang!
Finally someone that slanders W Sang the same way i do (despite his cool as fuck animations). Another thing you didn't mention is that Dim. Shredder costs 3 gluttony and sloth, so in canto boss fights like Erlking he has to take like 3 turns to get it going
as a fellow rupture enjoyer i really don't like talisman sinclair. especially with the trend of new bosses phase changing and removing debuffs i'd much rather build my team to consistently go count positive because you rarely need more than 30-40 potency to cheese through bosses as long as you don't drop count, and in MD potency is a non issue anyways
Gluttony fuels shredders and base sinclair ego, as well as lantern and ebony stem ignut the shredders are the main thing Honestly from all the time i ran ruoture i feel like aedd is unnecessary after lantern don dropped P. S dissing the goat... Even in situations where you can't dim shredder turn 1 you can just give him 2 slots and use s3 followed by shredder and never not proc charge conditionals again
Yeah it’s not like gluttony is useless, it fuels all the good rupture egos. It’s more so that rupture generates so much of it that every other affinity on those egos is more important. I also honestly don’t really use AEDD except for minmaxing railway runs, currently hoping for a better ID to drop to replace rosepanner. Edit: I will diss the goat, I love warp sang but you're better off giving Ring Sang those two slots + shredder. His higher rolls and coin count does wonders over warp sang
have you ever thought about experimenting with Edgar Gregor instead of rosepanner? If you think about it 1. Fuels AEDD better 2. Clashes WAY better 3. Skill 2 is gloom, which not only is a really important resource in the rupture team but it also makes it count neutral thanks to AEDD 4. Skill 1 is only -1 instead of -2 you tecnically lose out on a +1 count skill 2, and the skill 3 adding a lot of count, but the latter requires a bit of setup, and the better clashing numbers and more common gloom resource may just be better. Oh and the s3 shreds through count (bad), but it could be a valid alternative
If you had uploaded this video 2 weeks prior, I wouldn't have spent some of my ego crates the way I did lmao. God I'm a new player and yeah, got W sang, heard he was godly on rupture so I decided to capitalise only to realise how much rupture actually asks for. Lesson learned for next BP I suppose
He is Godly on rupture, the video got a fact about his kit wrong, stating that you need 11+ charge for his skill 2 when you only need 4+. The skill 2 gives the 7 charge count THEN checks the 10+ charge conditional, while the video assumed the other way round. If you hit his skill 1 on the first turn then the skill 2 will inflict 3 rupture count(1 count positive) and 6 potency and effectively guarantees that the next skill 2 will also hit that condition also, his skill 3 is generally a really good finisher semi-reliable finisher in focused encounters.
Also just, dont use KK HL on a rupture team. lol.
Wow, a content creator who actually listened to someone and changed the conclusion on that 😮
Dude, he can use s1 in s2 and get rupture count on his s2, because of 4(-1)+7 is fucking 10.
Doesn't dimensional shredder sang passive give him 11 charge as soon as you use s2?
>W sang needs a lot of ramp up
You forgot that rambling man gives him 4 charge next turn, meaning that he always reaches his 10 count conditional no matter if he starts at 0 charge.
By only relying on rambling man ring sang is:
Skill 1 +0 and 20% of +5
Skill 2 +0 and 48% of +3 (supposing that reuses are guaranteed which they aren't without talisclair or random tremor)
Skill 3 -1 and 20% of +2
Or better yet:
Skill 1 +0 80% of the time
Skill 2 +0 52% of the time
Skill 3 -1 80% of the time
While wii sang is
Skill 1 100% +0
Skill 2 100% +2
Skill 3 100% +5
You are relying way too much on luck to make him work and rupture is a status that you need to know how much you are inflicting or how much you are eating in order to plan ahead.

With this in mind lets take two scenarios in mind, one with ideal E.G.O. resources [any of the canto dungeons, MD, railway (scene #1)] and one where you have none stored (seeing as warp sang is the only source of sloth other than 7-Outis, g-corp Gregors skill 2 and k-corps skill 3, who you probably shouldn't be using for a rupture team as stated in the video, we will factor out using Dimension Shredder) [regular story (scene #2)]
In scene #1, we will ensure that Yi-Sang has two skill slots turn 2, and start off with dimension shredder.
Note: all skill 2's requirements will be fulfilled due to them gaining 7 charge on use allowing for the on hit effect to proc (turn two: 4 + 7 = 11 + 7 = 18 | turn three = 20 - 15 = 5 + 7 = 12 )
All in all, not factoring in any outside (de)buffs like talisman or spark discharge and assuming good speed ranges, on x Yi Sang will inflict a total rupture of : [ 1x (0,0) ], [ 2x (6,4) ], [ 3x (15,5) ]
Assuming that all attacks hit the same target the rupture application on x(total) would be (20,10), dealing a total of 62 pure rupture damage.

You stand out really well overall with your style, sure there may be slight inspiration taken from other limbustubers but this is by far one of the best guides I’ve seen lol
Hope your exams also went well! Those can be a huge pain in the butt.

"For it to inflict Rapture count you first need to win the cl-
Oh, OK, Go Unopposed."
got me wheezing.
And weirdly enough, effervescent corrosion Hong lu can be used here as one of the few gluttony sources of count (the corrosion gives 2 counts at 5 resonance).
w-sang my beloved md soloist
I did not watch the video yesterday because I was expecting yet another half-baked video by a person who does not understand Rupture well, specifically when taking this one video into consideration where another well-known person in the PM community called W Yi Sang a core unit for rupture and giving him S-rank rating. As a generalist decent but not great, for rupture not fast/consistent enough without spending EGO resources.

(I don’t use rupture a lot so this is incredibly helpful.)
i like how seven ryoshu is seven association id (basically rupture association) yet gives only 2 rupture on 1st skill and nothing else🤑
2 Potency and nothing else!! 🤑🤑🤑 Core Unit!!!
@sojourn6207 Nellyshu also is a Poise ID while most of Wuthering Heights is Sinking
This is an amazing guide, you should make more dude.
(Note : i will refer to rupture through (x,y); X = potency, Y = count)
Ok so in defence of warp Yi-Sang who i believe you have done unbelievably dirty; so much so that i actually have doubts that you even tried using him prior to making this video.
This solves most of the problems he faces, as now you don't lose one charge at turn end but rather gain three, because of this you can use a skill two right after dimension shredder to immediately gain 11 charge, fulfilling the bare minimum requirement of his skill three at 10, and fulfils his 15 charge requirement next turn if you use any skill other than his evade or skill three.
With this in mind lets take two scenarios in mind, one with ideal E.G.O. resources [any of the canto dungeons, MD, railway (scene #1)] and one where you have none stored (seeing as warp sang is the only source of sloth other than 7-Outis and g-corp Gregors skill 2 and k-corps skill 3, who you probably shouldn't be using for a rupture team as you've stated, we will factor out using Dimension shredder) [regular story (scene #2)]
In scene #1, we will ensure that Yi-Sang has two skill slots turn 2, and start off with dimension shredder. Then on the second turn we'll use two of our four skill twos, boosting us up to 17 charge at turn end [ (x = ) 4 + 7 + 7 - 1] and max (20) charge by next turn (x + 4). Then, on the third turn use a maxed skill three and then use a skill two, leaving you with exactly enough charge to use dimensional rift again next turn (20 - 15 + 7 + 4 - 1).
Note: all skill 2's requirements will be fulfilled due to them gaining 7 charge on use allowing for the on hit effect to proc (turn two: 4 + 7 = 11 + 7 = 18 | turn three = 20 - 15 = 5 + 7 = 12 )
All in all, not factoring in any outside (de)buffs like talisman or spark discharge and assuming good speed ranges, on turn x Yi Sang will inflict a total rupture of : [ 1x (0,0) ], [ 2x (6,4) ], [ 3x (15,5) ] Assuming that all attacks hit the same target the rupture application on x(total) would be (20,10), dealing a total of 62 pure rupture damage. Again, this is assuming that there is nothing and nobody outside of WARP Sang, with a full team in reality the damage would be much higher.
In scene #2, we will give warp sang two skill slots as last time. This goes mostly the same as the first scene, now replacing DS with a typical skill one and an identical skill two, though with slightly less count due to the lack of DS, ending the turn with 17 charge. On turn three use a maxed skill three. This time, instead of using a skill two use a skill one to put you at 5 charge allowing you to use a skill two and skill one leaving you at 15 charge, 3 sloth, and 3 gluttony next turn to use a skill three and a Dimension shredder, after which you can loop back to following scenario one to the best of your ability with the skills left, assuming that the encounter isn't over by now somehow. I won't (cant) calculate the rupture application this time since it took longer than expected the first time, instead, ill give the general gist. the main change is that the skill three has to be used on something that already has rupture on it similar to 7-fausts skill 2, and it cant hold its own due to dimensional rift being applied turn end.
One thing I'd like to mention that useful for any charge/poise/self-tremor teams (just in case anyone didn't know, and its relevant) in focused encounters is that if you have a unit with multiple skills slots, the moves will be played in the order in you selected them in, so if i have a skill three in my second skill slot it can drag it to who i want to target then do the same for a skill two in my first skill slot (or vice versa) to either gain enough charge to use a skill three or use my charge before using a skill to gain it back.
New favorite deeptuber, subbed
To dead rabbit's meursault defense, he is pretty decent in md because you can get infinite rupture count with ego gifts (thunderbranch) and clashing high is pretty important there. He is very bad everywhere else though.
bro thinks he's Esgoo and Kaskozhuk at the same time
(good video tho, i should sub)
Another W agent video
just wondering if you're planing to make more videos like this, cuz i really love your editing style
yep yep! I have 3 scripts already done, just havent been able to edit that much cause of college
yooo aight that's awsome!
make sure to get through college aight n take your time.
good luck
Wow very informative, thanks!
Finally, the proper guide for rupture. Especially about all issues with W Corp. Yi Sang.
Mans just came out of nowhere dropping a banger for me to watch at work.
Got through the video
This confirmed my greatest fear: that dead rabbits meursalt isnt that good for rupture. He's so cool imo and i was kinda hoping there was something I was missing for when I put together a rupture team.
I'm right there with you, when he dropped I really really wanted him to work on a rupture team, but he just doesn't have the count application to function properly
@@wAgent lets huff the UT5 copium that'll fix him (it will coincide with farmwatch becoming real)
15:28 you kinda sounded like RealLifeLore during that entire rant
great video :), i love this sort of shitposty take on the game
props for the effort
this kept showing up on my homepage and the roblox limbus characters haunted my every day so i clicked and after watching i have decided i would rather play sinking thanks mirror world esgoo
Good news: WEIRD new Rupture unit drops Wednesday! Conditionally 100% Count-neutral base with an otherwise (probably) Count-positive S3?
@@wAgentMy guy your one limbus vid is off the charts good, you speak with so much passion. Can’t wait to see the rest of your work ^_^
Spoilers she’s kinda eh
Thank you for convincing me to play sinking instead, funny w corp employee. Great guide 👍

Also
RABITT AND STEEL
YEEEAAAHHHHHH
You are truly a W
BASED Rabbit & Steel music choices.
He probably watches axe too
Whenever I needed to take a break from editing I was just speedrunning Rabbit & Steel w/ Assassin Rabbit, (and yeah I watch axe)
You dropped this 👑
Thank god finally a cc that realizes w yi is not a good rupture id, even with dim shred.
@@cereal8193 AO ONI???
having a +6 potency +1 count positive (or +3 count when starting a new stack) on a skill 2 is pretty busted given that the only condition is hitting a skill 1 on the first turn. Been spamming him since he was released and I very rarely find dimension shredder helpful outside story content let alone required for him to function. If dimensions shredder didn't exist he'd still be arguably the best rupture ID in the game.
"i have your rupture" got me death😭😭😭
Who is this new guy on my feed???? Roblox channel, Limbus video, Rabbit and Steel ost???????????
FUNGER MEME????
"Rupture team is bad"
That one chicken drum in my inventory:
That one ego gift that gives you rupture every 12 dmg:
this video was a very interesting watch because I religiously use seven yi sang and K corp hong lu on rupture no matter the content
I also use talisman sinclair everywhere because I love the guy and in mirror dungeon, which is the mode I spend most of my time in, base gregor passive on bench basically nulls his talisman overflow self-damage which is really cool
Looking at IDs, it very clear that so many of them are made with multiple skill slots in mind.
Would be really nice to have a way to get more skill slots in focused encounters.
This vid has enlightened me on how much support rupture needs 💀💀💀
I like rupture because self healing is often associated with it and i love self healing cool vid btw
You and me both, I absolutely adore self healing characters in any game that I play, its why I main rhaast in league (derogatory)
5:35 fear and hunger termina mentioned
Damn this video is good, how did I never see this channel
I personally prefer using rupture units over sinking units on a gloom spam team, 7 Faust instantly becomes one of your best units with spark discharge, Edgar Gregor is also better for that team than rosespanner Gregor, and Ring Sang for his gloom accessible S1
Unfort I don’t think it’s better than the current gluttony spam team since gloom spam rupture requires you to have AEDD constantly up past turn 2 vs a turn 1 16 3 stack from Deyvat Rodya
Might aswell run a Bleed-Ture hybrid at this point.
(And unfortunately the only Gregor for bleed is still ass)
@@eyez3294 Hey! Twinhook greg isn't a bad ID! /s
@@woolsnik4333 oh I forgot about him, simce I dont have him. I was thinking of Kk gregor. And funnily enough (in theory) in the context of rupture bleed sinergy kk is actually slightly better due to having more coins on a skill 3.
Good, now I just realized that we have three PM content creator that has horrifyingly similar voices.
A couple of notes to add that I thought were worth mentioning
Our standards were really low at the start of season 3
Quick note for anyone playing MD content: do not take talisclair if you want the fusion gift/standard-duty battery, as it will make his s2 give 6 talismans no matter what
Crazy how the rupture count table is thrown off the window and the name of the game became
1. Get 15 Potency and 3 Count
2. Chainsaw Gregor, LCCB Ish, Base Ryoshu, TTGL Hong Lu: What is my purpose in this comp? Danteh: You are Green
3. 4 Gluttony Reson
4. Go do crime, Devyat Rodion (and Cinqsault)
great video, loved it
Man i sure do love Limbus company (I haven't even heard of the game it just poped up in my recommended)
little bit to add on W sang, if you have the wolf ego on don, he can consistently activate his s3 on turn 1/2. im not really familiar with rupture team ego resource generation since its been a while I used them but pretty sure they can activate it easily. ofc this mean more investment on ego that support a specific class but hey, charge team is pretty strong so its not that bad lf investment since I have a feeling they will release a strong charge id in a month or so. also ring yi sang is like something that you can put any team you want and still do well. im experimenting him with sinking, tremor and burn atm(no bleed because i dont have good bleed id atm)
tldr: w sang with really heavy investment (UT IV both him and wolf don ego) can outperform ring yi sang if don can corrode BUT in term of investment, ring yi sang is far more versatile(mostly because his broken s2)
cant wait to play rupture when it becomes good 11!!!!!
holy moly rabbit n steel ost
wwatch this man go throught he 5 stages of grief with the 5 new rupture types
I can tell *someone* has a favorite debuff
hell yeah i was wanting to build a rupture team thank you for this
By the way, 7 heath’s passive adds 1 more rupture infliction if you have 4 7 association units. This makes him apply even MORE rupture. So, more reason to run my goat, 7 yi sang!
3:12 me: GREEEENNN YEAAAAH I KNEW IT-
wAgent: blue
me: WHAT
Finally someone that slanders W Sang the same way i do (despite his cool as fuck animations). Another thing you didn't mention is that Dim. Shredder costs 3 gluttony and sloth, so in canto boss fights like Erlking he has to take like 3 turns to get it going
Rabbit and Steel music, man we project moon nerds are all alike arent we
as a fellow rupture enjoyer i really don't like talisman sinclair. especially with the trend of new bosses phase changing and removing debuffs
i'd much rather build my team to consistently go count positive because you rarely need more than 30-40 potency to cheese through bosses as long as you don't drop count, and in MD potency is a non issue anyways
Gluttony fuels shredders and base sinclair ego, as well as lantern and ebony stem ignut the shredders are the main thing
Honestly from all the time i ran ruoture i feel like aedd is unnecessary after lantern don dropped
If you think about it
1. Fuels AEDD better
2. Clashes WAY better
3. Skill 2 is gloom, which not only is a really important resource in the rupture team but it also makes it count neutral thanks to AEDD
4. Skill 1 is only -1 instead of -2
you tecnically lose out on a +1 count skill 2, and the skill 3 adding a lot of count, but the latter requires a bit of setup, and the better clashing numbers and more common gloom resource may just be better. Oh and the s3 shreds through count (bad), but it could be a valid alternative
Hmm, I'll actually have to try that out. It sounds pretty decent as long as AEDD is up. Very good idea tho
New limbustuber dropped?!?
Deyvat rodion really just touched your video.
ngl rupture needs a huge buff as id rather just use tremor or sinking for the extra damage then rupture hell even bleed feels better to use
oh yeah im debating dropping rupture rn because its just, boring in comparison to every other status effect
21:00 Also make sure to have at most 2 gluttony skills in the chain, otherwise his passive will put Talisman Sinclair over 5.
Great video! I'm gonna go make a tremor team now
If you had uploaded this video 2 weeks prior, I wouldn't have spent some of my ego crates the way I did lmao.
18:56 "In the 4 turns and 11 Rupture Counts following a high Rupture Potency, HakarYi Sang is effectively lethal."
