Forgot to mention in the video that during the multidisciplinary team meeting a recommendation for other investigations may be made (e.g. further chest CT scans, lung function, heart investigations, lung biopsy etc. - depending on the case). The multidisciplinary team approach helps reduce the bias in diagnosing interstitial lung diseases.

Hi I am 65 year old female worked all my life in horticulture on no medication no illness very strong, had a cough for 1 year, originally when breathing in, needed to cough out. The doctor referred me to respiratory Dr at local hospital i had 2 x rays, lung function, test and a ct scan. I have been told i have pulmonary fibrosis, no treatment available worse case 2 years to live. Does this sound right to you or should I seek a second opinion. My cough is not as bad as it was originally. Thank you your videos are very good.
