Hello Dr Stefan For patients with hypersensitivity to birds, Who are living in place where there is a lot of birds in the air outside the house, is it dangerous for them. And also walking in garden everyday is it safe? Thank you
Hello Dr Stefan I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis just before Christmas so im still trying to get my head around symptoms. I have changed all my bedding and no longer have feathers in them gutted really after paying a small fortune for them .a nodule was also found in my lung and had other tests for what this is and waiting on the results 😊to be honest i not really worried we all have to go sometime and what will be will be . What i will say is i just wonder why after diagnoses why i have not been given treatment to help with my breathing!
Have they done a test where they walk with you and test your oxygen level to see if you need oxygen or not? Also what about certain inhalers? Albuterol and Spiriva inhalers and there are medicines that can help slow the progression of this disease. There are many kinds of Lung Fibrosis and it depends on what stage you have. There is a Medicine called OFEB that can help with progression but it can cause Nausea and or Diarrhea then you might need a pill for the Nausea and a pill for the Diarrhea. Pills for a pill..
My mum was diagnosed with bird fancier. We've rehomed the bird a year ago but there has been no improvement. Can indoor compost or plants cause HP also ?
HI Dr Stephan ! Great videos. I have pulmonary fibrosis which I got following covid 19. I'm sensitive to cat dander. Are cats the same as birds ? Having asked that question now I expect they are if they cause a reaction. But,what do you think ?

Can you talk about hypersensitivity pneumonitis that may be triggered by mold?
