  • 💪 When I reminisce on my CrossFit days, I choose to remember the positive.
Competing forced me to stay hyper focused which allowed me to be in the best shape of my life. I also met some of the best people and created meaningful relationships.
It's hard sometimes not to look back and miss it. But then I remember the reasons I stopped and I know in my heart I'm exactly where I'm meant to be here and now.
Now it's time to be hyper focused on my family and my business and I couldn't be more stoked to watch them grow.

Been following you with enthusiasm since your crossfit days! Loved watching you compete. Now I go to a gym 10.40.10 fitness that follows your programming! It comes full circle.

i absolutely love this! You have such a great work/life balance. I needed to hear this myself. I feel the exact same way regarding everything you said. Ir feels good to know we are not alone in our fitness journey and that change is inevitable and we have to adjust and adapt.

Marcus I have been a fan of yours since your CrossFit days?? I have a question and I hope u have the answer whole egg or egg white?? That’s the big debate is it personal preference or what?? Appreciate it man

Either way. Egg protein is good. I eat two whole eggs a day because egg yolks have choline and some beneficial nutrients. But you do what makes you feel the best. You gotta get your fats from somewhere. You pick.

Thanks Marcus I really appreciate it!! Tell me is this the right way to approach this I am trying to lose some body fat and I am prioritizing carbs pre and post training everything I eat up until then is protein and fat based thing is I work 6 days a week at 2 different jobs I don’t get to train until about 7 p.m. so that’s when I have carbs would that be sufficient u think or is there a better way to go about it.. thanks brother appreciate u

For me, competing in CrossFit wasn't sustainable due to the number of hours it required me to train, and the toll that it took on my body.

It's very high intensity work which means you need a lot of recovery time. Unless you're taking PEDs you can't recover fast enough.
Tbh even looking as lean as Marcus and his buddies are all year round is pretty sus, I'd wager they're on something if they actually have such a low body fat all year round without the accompanying side effects
