Inf Know Carlos had success after the video for a few years, several one hour specials and "mind of mencia" we definitely after the joe rogan incident. I think what really killed his career was the documentary "I am comedian" where he went on camera bragging about joke stealing in a very weird interview. He openly talked about how he steals jokes and just adds the word Mexican to make it his. I haven't heard or seen anything from Carlos since.

Apparently that episode aired around the time MIND OF MENCIA was canceled, so I'm guessing SOUTH PARK decided they finally had free reign to say/do whatever they wanted. Carlos himself said he found it funny, but considering how harsh SOUTH PARK was towards him he just came off like a tool.
I think he has talked about it, but wasn't really too hard on her, he blamed some of the writers because a lot of the theft was from her TV show (which has writers). The real reason I think though is because they are friends so he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, and didn't want to grill her too hard. She was on the podcast a bunch of times, and she was actually genuinely funny. He hasn't had her on since though, and probably doesn't talk to her anymore because of everything. I also imagine he probably didn't like how he felt reacting so harshly to Mencia, and wanted to react less aggressively the second time around.

The reason Joe doesn't attack Amy Schumer for stealing jokes is because it isn't necessary anymore. Joe was so hard on Carlos because it was pre-internet. Carlos got famous purely off stolen bits and he could get away with it because people couldn't run to the internet and see where he was sourcing his jokes from. Amy didn't start stealing until she was running out of material and by that time we could all realize it. Everyone knows she's a joke stealer, and she's been called out on it publicly many times. Carlos was living in an era where no one would call him out because they were either afraid of the pushback or they didn't have an appropriate outlet to do it. Joe had to walk on stage with a video camera to call him out and some people still stood by Carlos after that video was done. Joe had Fear Factor to fall back on too. Imagine if you were a young comedian who got your joke stolen in a pre-internet world. Do you really think you would accuse one of the biggest comedians of that day? They were afraid if they spoke out that their careers would end before they even began. Joe doesn't have to be the savior of comedians like he once was because it's so easy to get caught now.

Inf Know Carlos had success after the video for a few years, several one hour specials and "mind of mencia" we definitely after the joe rogan incident. I think what really killed his career was the documentary "I am comedian" where he went on camera bragging about joke stealing in a very weird interview. He openly talked about how he steals jokes and just adds the word Mexican to make it his. I haven't heard or seen anything from Carlos since.

Why won't Joe call out Schumer? Unfortunately she probably has "blacklisting" power.
I think he has talked about it, but wasn't really too hard on her, he blamed some of the writers because a lot of the theft was from her TV show (which has writers).
The real reason I think though is because they are friends so he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, and didn't want to grill her too hard. She was on the podcast a bunch of times, and she was actually genuinely funny. He hasn't had her on since though, and probably doesn't talk to her anymore because of everything.
I also imagine he probably didn't like how he felt reacting so harshly to Mencia, and wanted to react less aggressively the second time around.
Rogan won't call out his friends. Plain and simple.

The reason Joe doesn't attack Amy Schumer for stealing jokes is because it isn't necessary anymore. Joe was so hard on Carlos because it was pre-internet. Carlos got famous purely off stolen bits and he could get away with it because people couldn't run to the internet and see where he was sourcing his jokes from. Amy didn't start stealing until she was running out of material and by that time we could all realize it. Everyone knows she's a joke stealer, and she's been called out on it publicly many times. Carlos was living in an era where no one would call him out because they were either afraid of the pushback or they didn't have an appropriate outlet to do it. Joe had to walk on stage with a video camera to call him out and some people still stood by Carlos after that video was done. Joe had Fear Factor to fall back on too.
