      lazy people underestimate the impact they can generate on their outer appearance. especially as a man, you can go from ugly to almost-model by attaining an athletic physique, optimize your hygiene and hair management, fix your posture and behavior and clothing yourself stylish enough that fits your type.
      ofc this takes a lot of time and effort. too much for lazy people.

    I'm American, but one time I was travelling through Europe with a couple friends, and we had been on the road for 4 or 5 hours. We decided to pull off at this tiny little village in France to grab something to eat real quick. I don't remember the name of it. It was kind of up in the hills with gorgeous views, charming little shops, but not many people walking around. The type of place you could drive right passed on a long road trip and not even remember driving through it. It looked like there was only 1 actual sit-down restaurant, so we made our way there. There was an older overweight woman near the door who gave us some menus and pointed at the outdoor tables to take a seat. About 15 min later, the waitress came to take our order. I shit you not, to this day, she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Perfect tan, green eyes and strawberry blonde hair. She had that alien beauty that Bill was talking about. Like you couldn't find a flaw on her.
    I work in a part of L.A. where I see a lot of celebrities and models. They had nothing on her. I'm no simp but she was beautiful on a whole other level. And she wasn't even wearing makeup. Just completely natural beauty and a simple ponytail. Her english was very limited, so she was struggling with understanding us. She got really nervous, which was unlike the other French people we met, who would just repeat what they were saying in French but louder and a more angry tone lol. She had an innocence about her. She went and got the older lady to come and help her. Turns out that older lady was her aunt, and she was born and raised in that tiny little village. She probably had no idea how beautiful she was on a global scale.

      Celebrities and models are women who wanted to use their beauty to gain celebrity. But the vast majority of beautiful people are happy to lead an ordinary life far from the limelight. You shouldn't have been surprised to see her in a small village.

    • @loraxspaceship
      @loraxspaceship 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I read your comment, and I thought about it.. Let me enlighten you. Model scouts, photographers, and people who "know people" travel all the time. They actively seek the most exotic women. One example is Sharbat Gula whom they found in AFGHANISTAN. She had exotic eyes and immediately became known. My point is, you will NEVER see someone THAT HOT in real life who isn't famous. There's no doubt she was beautiful, but nowhere near top models. You would see that if she stood next to them. You were probs really horny.

      One thing I learnt in my 20s though was that stunners were better girls overall. Less attractive women had to prove to themselves that they were sexy, so would have all sorts of skeletons in their closets. Just give me a nice, attractive, healthy woman. Not only do you get all of those awesome qualities, but they're cleaner and more faithful.

    • @omnissiah7247
      @omnissiah7247 5 ปีที่แล้ว +90

      a thing about being ugly tho, is that there isn't a guarantee that anyone in this world will love you. In fact, the odds are stacked against you. I'd much rather be beautiful and be in a superficial relationship, than be ugly and not get into any relationship at all

    • @chocomanger6873
      @chocomanger6873 5 ปีที่แล้ว +212

      @@omnissiah7247 Um... That's not love, dude. LOL. Plus, I think you're over-valuing relationships. With relationships comes intimacy, but out goes freedom. There's a plus and a negative to everything in life. Plenty of single people out there who are MUCH more happy than married people or people in "relationships".

      @Nodus MeSenpai Many people are capable of monogamy. Look all around the world throughout time. We are programmed to be sexually attracted to others, but we can see the programming and fight to stay loyal.

    Also, I'm all for beautiful people especially if they promote health and commitment, but whenever I hear "unrealistic beauty standards" I think of crazy plastic surgeries, Instagram filters, and photoshop. That's the stuff that fucks with your brain and distorts reality. One of my biggest missions in life, when I have a daughter, is to teach her that beauty is not everything and also to teach her to not measure her worth by her beauty. My family is very shallow and it's taken me many years to appreciate beautify and to no envy it in a negative way.

      Yes, that's what I think of unrealistic beauty standards... that or they have extreme diets to the point it's anorexia. The past 10 years or so there's been more and more healthy beautiful fit role models for women like the Tone it Up women- Karina and Katrina... or some youtube fitness influencers like Whitney Simmons or Nikki Blacketter. Where they show working out and eating properly is beautiful and inner happiness is beautiful. That to me is an attainable healthy beauty standard.

There are much more people like that, which has 100k+ followers and captures only like 1% of their happy life on Instagram. This makes lot of people think, that they are always happy and their not, so they want to live like them, although 9/10 of them never can. I have good self awareness and when I used these medias, I never had that problem, it was only way of relax for me like 30 minutes per day maximum. Many people don’t realize that and cannot divide their for example Instagram life and real life.

    Problem with beauty standard is the photo shopping. You can't fix stupid, but MOST people would not have a problem with pure beauty if they didn't modify these super models into even more beautiful... so, that is where I stand. If they Photoshop, they should have an asterict noting that it was modified. That would hopefully relax peoples judgement and know what is real and not real and hopefully encourage REAL people, unaltered on the covers.

      Because actresses are usually already at the lowest weight they should be. Cameras really do make you look heavier than you are, so to appear super trim, you usually have to stay a little underweight. And when your at your lowest weight, losing 15 lbs is not easy. Plus It’s psychologically tough to be constantly malnourished and stressed. That’s why actresses usually drink so much green juice because they have to get in nutrition with little macros.

    When one says "unattainable" they mean when photographs or videos were intensively edited and then released as natural. If you actually KNOW the beauty industry, you will see this happens even to women who are already practically perfect. That gives a mass false impression... some women are insanely gorgeous naturally - absolutely, but let's be honest A LOT of what runs through social media as models, and even in magazine, has been edited to a disturbing degree. Waist lines are trimmed off, skin flaws removed, lighting tampered, even the smallest hair out of place, hidden away with advanced photoshopping tools. Young girls are watching and their own self esteem is being destroyed. Let us not forget about those fragile and impressionable minds. Sure sexy people are paid to be sexy, no one is trying to stop that, but let's stop releasing these ridiculous "unrealistic" bodies that have been edited so professionally that a regular person wouldn't know the difference, and feels ugly for having things that are normal! Super models have stretch marks, movie stars have skin problems too, your favorite travel vlogger has a waistline, and that gym enthusiast you love so much, has her tits done. Cellulite isn't just on "ugly" people. Let's not erase the real problem, which is over using editing tools. If they are beautiful - share them as is.... that's all we are saying. It's just overkill now.

    I like how they say it as it is. Nobody will otherwise ever admit this is how society is. I've seen it first hand, as I'm sure everyone has, that the people with physical beauty tend to gain more attention and, if they do it right, will move up in the ranks pretty damn quick. That's not to say that they otherwise don't suffer for it too and get used/tossed around. For example, I work in an office and, once upon a time, a beautiful modelesque woman got a job with us. Now, at that time, there was NO other woman in our environment with such captivating looks. Naturally, most of the men flocked to her (whether they be single or not). She was so used to the constant attention that she just soaked it all in, to the point where men were fighting over her and the working environment was tarnished. In time, she was fired for that very reason. Is that fair? No, but that's reality. The management would never admit that's why she was fired, but everyone else knew it. She had beauty, but used it for all the wrong reasons...then again it wasn't really her fault if it's all she's ever known. It can be a cruel world.
