I'm having this issue right now, and I just say, welp ready to cry? It is so frustrating, I feel so bad. This morning I def thought about giving up. I'm going to give it time and hope things will get bettee
Reach out to someone ❤ just talking to another mother reminds you that you are NOT alone 😊 it's been tough for me too in my 1st pregnancy and I told myself to not google or research too much because it leads to over thinking. Yet, right now I'm on this video 😅 it's ok you got this!!!
@@debjoyce3806 I gave my neighbor a box of bottles so she could use them for her baby. She got rid of 'em. I didn't get mad, I asked her why she got rid of'em, and she said, I want to breastfeed as long as I can. Bottle feeding is not breastfeeding.
Hi My baby's latch was going smoothly but from week 6 he cough on my breast 2 to 3 times ..I don't know it is overflow of my milk or something wrong with my baby
Hi please help. I am suffering from forceful let down plus baby has lip and tounge tie. She is 1 month 21 days old. Not very calm when I remove her from brest during forceful letdown and then when I try to latch her again she will take it in cry and get off my breast. First month went smooth no issues however as first month got over she got cold and things are downhill from there. I am really stressed. No breastfeeding position seems to help her calm down or feed better.
@@rituparnadutta7436 hi we found out my daughter had lip and tounge tie... we did the revision of it and thn whenever forceful let down comes she calmly removes herself from me... and when I latch her again if she is hungry she takes again. She is 7months now and forceful letdown still happens but she knows how to deal with it now
My baby is 43days old .still I am having fast let down..he is also facing coughing and choking and clicking while breastfeeding in a cross cradle position if I breastfeed in a side lying down he not facing any problems..will please suggest side lying is safe I am worried about ear infection and how long this fast let down will last..7th weak already started
Wow mama, lots going on! I love side lying when milk flows fast because it can drip out of the other side of babe’s mouth. Also would recommend an IBCLC to do a full feeding assessment with you guys
Hi I have the same problem.. I don't it is my breast problem or something wrong with my baby.. coughing session started after 6th week ...sidelying is comfortable for him ..
By fully draining one breast the baby should be getting the thick fatty milk. Generally the first part of Thebes is more to satisfy thirst and the last part of the feed is higher fat and meant to satisfy hunger.
@@sarikatimmi if you are fully draining both breasts and baby is only taking one, yes for sure. But with oversupply if you switch baby before they are complete on the first breast they may not have gotten the chance to get to more of the fatty milk if switched too early. I was talking about letting the baby eat as much as they want on the first breast before offering the second. There is even block feeding which can be helpful but you definitely need support and management for that because it possibly can decrease supply too much if not done properly. Oversupply management is very individualized for each mom and Baby based on what is going on. Are you connected with a local IBCLC who can evaluate you and baby?
@@mauibreastfeedingsupport yes i have reached out to one and hoping to hear back. one issue i dont understand though is baby will unlatch on one side (but hasnt emptied breast) and will not relatch on that side again and wait for me to switch. i would think she would want the fattier milk with less force behind the flow. it’s very odd. we are working on lowering my supply by only pumping out enough to make it bearable hopefully this works but i am terrified of clogged ducts and mastitis not to mention baby has had green poop from thin milk and i dont want her to suffer in the meantime. it’s a nightmare
@@sarikatimmi I hope she gets back to you! It sounds like a formal feeding evaluation would be very helpful to see what’s going on. Hang in there mama! Here’s a video on how to find an IBCLC in your area Keep Calm and Call the Lactation Consultant! How to Find an IBCLC in Your Area

I know this is old. But, baby to breast, not breast to baby. Was taught this in lactation class.
His hair 😍🥰
i have this along w oversupply due to pumping too early i think but i was engorged from the beginning
Have you been able to start regulating your supply?
not yet. yesterday was the first day i have started along w exclusively nursing
I give up! It’s too hard and I get emotional not being able to do something that seems so simple 😢
This is exactly how I fell… I have tried so hard and I want it to work but feel scared at every feeding session

Bottle fed babies grow the same as breastfed babies so don't stress. Get those bottles and feed your hungry baby
