For me, I caught her saying that her manager doesn't want OP to contact Head Office, so my advice would be to CYA, send all reports via e-mail, request all tasks via e-mail, buy a burner phone and use it to take videos of pron guy's audio from just out of earshot walking close to show just how loud it is, take pictures of the 2 way microphones with the burner phones, make copies of police reports, make copies of client interactions.... then compile 5 copies of everything into a manilla envelope with an SD card of the videos and send it straight to HO with "URGENT" stamped on it, addressing the mail to the manager's boss, the CEO, Accounting, Legal, and send one to yourself for posterity sake.

This is just residential property management; there is a reason why the OP started because: they hated every job before this. The industry is fucked, which is why so many of us are highly compensated for it. More than half of these stories have happened at places I have worked, and none of Florida

If single-party recording was legal in the OP's state and the time, the OP should have been secretly recording the manager.

My mother used to work as a property manager company, there was a reason she always carried a snub-nose revolve with a speed loader and hollow point bullets. She was also on first name basis with most of the cops with as often as she had to team up with them, usually just calling in a cop or two to help her check properties.

Nope its as easy as handing in your two weeks notice working for them an extra 2 weeks to ensure they get through the holidays then have them squander your name to everyone they can because you left ibstead of helping them commit insurance fraud and destroy a family with young children in the process.

I'm not keen on the automated voice, but it's 100% better than that narrates guy who can't pronounce words correctly, has a fake deep tone, made up a weird name for his listeners, and mentions how he loves everyone (who help him get paid) on every post.
At least the automated voice isn't that creepy.

That bit where the manager made the fire marshall wait 10 minutes was just a power play. I'd read about that in an issue of "Psychology Today" when I was called in for another meeting with my supervisor's supervisor (I had discovered I had been illegally underpaid, had definative proof going back 10 years, and had filed an EEO complaint.) He had made me wait for every meeting through every bit of harassment I'd been hit with since filing the complaint. That day was no different, even though my union rep was late because of a family emergency. When the supervisor's supervisor made me wait despite that, I recalled the article. Instead of walking in all nervous from his power play, I walked in filled with contempt that he had been foolish enough to employ it even though we were already delayed. In fact, I bluntly told him that one claim he made against me was not true according to the dictionary definition of the word. I wound up having to file yet another EEOC complaint for harassment. I was so pleased to learn that instead of being promoted, the jerk had to retire and take up teaching at some nondescript college.

God this is so hard to listen through, I had a very similar experience with previous bosses (one at a restaurant, the other at the doctor's).
The same gaslighting, not taking valid suggestions seriously and blaming us for their shortcomings, pitting coworkers against each other and so on. Absolute nightmare.
While it's interesting to hear stories about the hellmouth, it's bringing up some bad memories and I am so glad Hell boss got the karma she deserved and that OP is finally free!! I wish this experience on NOBODY although it sadly happened too frequently.
Some of the bosses I had while working part-time have actually been much kinder to me in the past, kinda ironic since I need a full-time job to survive but oh well.

You reminded me of a 1980s or 1990s filk [science fiction fan term for song parodies/original tunes relating to SF, including songs about where a big SF convention is held] song about Chicago where the singer sang about meeting a very dangerous woman who answered all his questions (such as the one about the knife in her boot, and a dagger or two up her sleeves), about what in Chicago prompted her to do that. The song ended with the singer deciding that the average war would do more for one's health than Chicago.

I kind of am in this position too. The office I work for is so unprofessional. I worry the reputation that the director has will sully my future career plans but I am so scared to leave/be honest in an interview about it because of how vindictive an office full of women can be… And I’m not the only one. There are others in my office who feel the same. It’s a lot.

So, why did this person not start recording their conversations the minute they found out she was recording them? Like, cover your ass, instead of continuing to ask whether you're being gaslit?
And why ask what you should tell other employers why you want to leave when you obviously only took back a job in the industry you wanted to leave because you'd been laid off outside of it?
It has all the boxes checked, though.
    Villain/protagonist.
    Villain's stooge.
    The Good guy.
    The Good guy's support.
    I'll give the story a 7/10.
