The guys behind AVP 2 scrip actually get it, the original Predator was legendary for it's mysterious character, suspense and badass characters. After this you can no longer "hide" the creature and create suspense, but you can make the Predator the main character of the film, make it the most badass predator ever and have a brutal bloodfest of a film. This was the only film that did it and had us all rooting for the Predator from start to finish. It's a trashy film, but it does fit it perfectly. That's how you make a Predator film, aliens or no aliens involved. In my opinion the best since the original.

Correction : Grid would have becomes Praetorian rather becomes 'Queen'. I know Grid referred to as 'male' despite being hermaphroditic like the rest of his drone siblings. He would becomes Praetorian, since according to some alien novel canons, Praetorian is final stage of xenomorph and presumably the only male to hive.
It's not good. They have some great elements (when you can see them) like Wolf, who deserved his own film, and the xenomorphs, but the rest is nothing but awful. Who TF put a WB teen drama in the middle of an AVP movie??? Seriously! The human side of the film is like a SyFy original.

A nuke can be dropped from a fighter jet. But I think that free falling nukes are obsolete at this point and are no longer in use. It should have been a tactical nuclear missile.
Go to Wikipedia and look up the Titan II missile. It's already obsolete and it was a bad ass nuke that would go into space and come back in at like 17,000 mph and wipe out a LOT of shit lol. They are outdated too which means we have much better than that now.

Likely there is an elder that is greater than him, and after the elders is the king (but the King is rare and not sure if he existed at this time or whatever). I enjoy Predator and Alien, so naturally I loved the AVP concept. But, Requiem was kinda lackluster to a certain degree. Loved the hybrid, the Predalien, but the final battle it had with Wolf was just so “ehh”. Still a great movie though!

while AVP Requiem is by no means a good film with the worst character development of any Alien/Pred movie, it is not a completely negative film. I kind of accepted the story and enjoyed the action despite it being too dark to see all the details. it's a movie that has so much potential despite it being badly filmed.

The Predator Alien is something I've wanted to see since I first saw the dog alien from Alien 3. It did not disappoint. Wonderfully disgusting and perfectly terrifying. I thought the face huggers and the little bastards popping out of your chest was fucked up, but the Predator Alien who can put babies down their throats and like 5 of them bust out of a woman's belly where here baby was just about to come out is just fuckin gross lol but I love it. To see a whole nest of them in that woman's belly and she was still alive to watch it. Wow. Then the rest of the women know what they have to look forward too. To have a predator alien is crazy enough but apparently she's a queen because she can make her own, no eggs needed and at least 5 or more per person. That's a REAL infestation! I thought it was cool that it made the hospital it's hive after the sewer didn't work out.
I think that ruins a bit the realism and mechanics of the aliens species to give Predalien ability to lay so many eggs and so that they look the same as those after facehugger

I really liked the film only it was a bit dark to see. It was great to see the what happened on earth if aliens invaded. I wish there was another movie maybe earth starts preparing to fight the aliens.
I liked the two earlier Predator Movies but every scene in this darn movie is in the dark or vary little light, they forgot to turn the lights on. Darkness hides a lot of flaws that would show up in a broad daylight shot movie.

I think that ruins a bit the realism and mechanics of the aliens species to give Predalien ability to lay so many eggs and so that they look the same as those after facehugger

@@Rottensparrow actually believe it or not there are predalien queens, you can find one in the game AVP extinction, you get assistance from even an ancient predator to take her down and collect her skull, guess the predalien works the same as a praetorian, they molt till they get to the predalien queen, this predalien in the movie would be like a praetorian predalien, otherwise it would be the same size has the queen from the avp movie (2004), the one on the antarctica.

I really liked the film only it was a bit dark to see. It was great to see the what happened on earth if aliens invaded. I wish there was another movie maybe earth starts preparing to fight the aliens.

I liked the two earlier Predator Movies but every scene in this darn movie is in the dark or vary little light, they forgot to turn the lights on. Darkness hides a lot of flaws that would show up in a broad daylight shot movie.

I haven't watched this movie so I'm not 100% sure, but from what I'm seeing in this, it doesn't seem like he cares much for the people in the helicopter
He even killed some of this people.
So i don't think he cares about them.
