Wolf should have been the sole protagonist of the AVP films. He doesn’t even speak and he’s already way more compelling as a character.

Or well done humans. I believe Lex was good in AVP. Skilled and knowledgeable in her area of expertise but still shown afraid and desperte as the gravity of the situation became evident. Earns an Elder's respect eventually for fighting alongside one of his own.

Just occurred to me that there is no default appearance of the xenomorphs. They look a certain way when they use human's as hosts but look totally different if they used other animals, other alien races, etc.
The Xenomorph uses the DNA of the host, so youre right. But this is explained in the Alien Franchise (the old ones).
And yet the the xenomorphs are more weaker than the first film

this was actually a good movie. did a great job showcasing the predator in this one. they need to follow the formula for this in more movies. love the super tactical nature. That 2018 movie was a mess. Shame on Shane Black who attempted to make it more of a comedy.
I feel the producer favored the Aliens in the first AVP but the other producers definitely redeemed him in the second AVP, seemingly favoring the Predators in that film.
Its logical cause Wolf was a veteran and in 1st movie predators were teenagers.
Wolf is an Elite Predator with several hundred maybe even a Thousand years of experience clearing out entire Hives of Xenomorphs so of course he would fucking dominate.
Which shouldn’t be the case because they should each have their own respect in their power

I think the director was disappointed in the movie, mainly the effects so he made it pretty much unwatchable if I remember correctly.

I wouldn’t expect Predators,one of the greatest hunters alive to be taken by surprise and killed so easily by anything.
Plus when they left on that giant ship there was like 50 Predators,this looks like the same ship on the inside,but smaller in the outside.

The only reasonable explanation it's that in the smaller ship was fuelled with unblooded/unexperienced Yautjas it was annoying to me too but if it was the Nodrize Ship the movie would lasted 2 minutes bc I don't think the predalien had the power to take the Elder Pred or however would be worse and annoying that the Pred take out Elder so easily.
This is a transport ship that has been separated from the mother ship. I was carrying a facehugger in preparation for the next ritual. The Elder Predators are safe.

I actually liked this movie but... always thought it was silly that they didn't scan Scar's body or put him in some sort of pod. They knew he was against something that impregnates a host, they definitely would have scanned him and been like "oh shit there's a xeno in him", instead of just being goofballs about the situation and letting it bust our and destroy them.
I think even if they did that the predaalien would overpower them
What I don’t get is shouldn’t scar have known that’s a baby xeno was inside of him and if so shouldn’t he of just shelf destruct or honorably killed him self like a samurai or something cuz even if he didn’t die the predalien would still be unleashed?

If the Predator that went down with the ship and the Predalien had activated his self destruct wrist gauntlet, this movie would have been a lot shorter.
They either had one or two ideas, To highlight the importance of the Predalien and set up a sequel which I wouldn't have minded on 1 condition The predators fight the damn aliens, and 2 that lame ending when they have the alien weapon, explained to me I never really took it seriously and what I mean by that is we never really see it in any other film, hence just ignored it as (whilst watching it back, I knew it wouldn't be as big as the first movie.

The Facehuggers had already gotten free of the Ship, activating his Self Destruct device would’ve only ensured that no one would know there were Xenomorphs loose on Earth until it was too late and well that’s bad because Xenomorphs can very quickly take over entire planets if they are not dealt with.
How fast do alien hatchlings grow. I find it hard to believe it evolved fully before the ship could even leave Earth's orbit
That’s what they where bred for they are supposed to be the perfect bio weapon. Fast adulthood, big numbers, durable as fuck, and when they get killed they have one more trick up their sleeves- acid blood. One more ditch effort to destroy whatever could destroy them. Dangerous in every way possible.

Also, I dont think we see the aliens that hatched from the humans. We just see adult aliens. There's no way of knowing if they're the same ones.
You never saw Alien. That shit grew up real fast.
From what I've seen in the movies, espically Prometheus, they grow extremely fast. There was a scene where a woman was locked in a room with it and you could see the alien getting bigger and bigger as it was attacking her if I remember correctly

Predator fan but this movie would've been a lot better if the fight scenes weren't so dark and hard to see. The directors had absolutely no idea how to make a good AVP movie. The first AVP was alot better than AVPR. The directors should've added a little more lighting,so the Audience coud see what was going on.
The first scene with the predator firing inside his own ship, he did that outta sheer terror and hatred, he did not ever in his life expect a predalien on his ship.. a predalien is taboo among predators and they fucking hate the idea of it and will kill it immediately, but this pred was in mixed emotions of fear and pure hatred he fucked up becuz he got emotional.. well who could blame him, like I said he never in his life expected that shit to happen to him

It's crazy how youre able to come to that conclusion despite nothing to work with but a simple shot of the Predator's face plate. Don't get me wrong, its an interesting idea. However; lets not write for the writers. They probably didnt intend for that.

Tbh if the human characters actually felt like...well...human characters, and the lighting designer wasn't asleep on the job, this movie would've actually kinda been okay.
they honestly felt more human than the first AVP..I could relate to the brothers, and the cop..all kinda cliched especially the bullies...and the teens dont look like teens at all..but honestly, a smal town setting and these cliches are way more relatable

They absolutely hate killing their own kind, with doing so outside of self defense being the ultimate taboo, which is probably why the find a creature that burst out of another of their own’s chest an “abomination”

Now that I think about it I’m confused how the predalien survived the burning ship it exploding and the crash yet it can’t take some rifle bullets 😭
Xenos have exceptional healing abilities, thanks to their "perfect biological lifeform" nature. And their exoskeleton is generally quite tough. Could've taken most of the impact
it had no right to die from rifle bullets, the only reason why xenomorphs are killed easily in aliens is because they are shot at with plasma rifles
there is no reason why predalien would be weaker than a regular alien
#Wolf's tech and the style with which he handles those weapons, No wonder he is amongst the elites.

Imagine if the Alien and Predator teamed up to fight/combat the White Spikes (Tomorrow War) and The Death Angels ( A Quiet Place), Ultimate Alien battle!!
Could have the Xenomorphs crash land on Klendathu (or the Arachnids crash land on LV-426) and a Xenomorph/Arachnid hybrids occurs between the two “bugs” and they fight against The Mobile Infantry (Roughnecks) and Predators
Nice match up! But the death angels being are the biggest threat.
Wouldn't happen as the Predators/Xenomorphs would destroy this White Spikes/Death Angels. 5.56mm can kill White Spikes/Death Angles easily, Xenomorphs are fast, agile, stealthy and so is the predators plus the Predators have advanced Weapons. Predator & Xenomorphs just have to be quite (Which they can be) and the Death Angels are wiped out, the White Spikes are a copy of Xenomorph with added Arms/Tentacles and No acid for blood so the Xenomorphs will take care of them especially a Royal Guard or Warrior.
Not sure about Alien and Predator teaming up. But a movie where the Predator go hunt down Alien monster from other IP? I would watch the shit out of that!

Wondering why he didn't put the gear in and THEN set the self destruct lol. We all know how long he had once he set the timer and he's right there as it's almost done and then he's outside the ship? Lol still a great movie but you think Hollywood would've written that part a little better. Love the movie though. Ever since I saw alien 3 when you see the aliens taking on aspects of its host with the dog and knew there was an AVP computer game back in the late 80's or early 90's, I always wanted to see a Predator Alien. It was worth the wait.
The bomb looks to be different kind. It didn't end up with a mushroom cloud and it kinda looked like it sucked everything in and ended with a much smaller explosion.
This difference could be exclusive to just their ships cause the area of effect is roughly the ship's size, acting more of an asset denial instead of a last measure/fail safe

1:44 I never realized that the reason the ship went down was because the 2nd predator blasted the engines after missing his 1st shot. I guess he realized that he couldn't allow the ship to autopilot back to wherever it was heading with a threat onboard.
