this was a really good fan film. better than some of the actual predator movies.

The level of realism is really amazing. This could have been another low budget, crappy depiction of WWII, where the predator kills a bunch of random characters. But nah, this is great. 15 minutes long, and I felt actually invested in the characters. The voice acting is also on point. Hollywood should watch this, and take notes instead of churning out shitty cash-grab reboots.
Would be a challenge for predator and so many worthwhile because german troops would just scout and fall out of their duties in my opinion and just go on their own hunting as savages.

How many movies have such fan base that produces this stuff? Not many. Making succesful sequels should be easy, but clearly Hollywood isn’t smart. This was good.

Im not sure if anyone noticed but they played the music score from 1961 mysterious island that was nostalgic af for me. Loved how this was tied into the 1st predator movie at the very end. The only real critique i have is the predator arming the woman. No Yautja would arm anyone unless they prove themselves in battle as part of their honor code but very enjoyable other than that.
This. Plus, female yautja wear armor on their chests, same as the men. I feel like this was done just to show off 1. the predator actress' rack 2. the fact that the yautja is a female at all.
Apparently you did NOT listen to her words at the end which explained why the FEMALE predator did not kill her.
Nice kill ... eyes still blinking while blood flows out of the skull.

Enjoyed this Fan Film Short. Interesting how the Predator equaled the playing field for what was to come in the future. The woman's soon to be born son is Dutch Schaeffer (who was Arnold Schwarz egger's character in the First Predator Movie in 1987); Thanks for tying in that fact!

The first two sequels are great, but the last one sucked.
Massive cap. Predator 2 is waaaaay too underrated. It did so much for the expanded universe. And Predators, while heavy on the references, was pretty good. People just shit on them because Arnold wasnt in them.

I really wish that there was a predator movie where Predator is in either medieval times or ancient Egyptian times I think that would be a really cool idea plus it's already been shown in most Predator movies that Predator has come to Earth for millions of years probably before man even had fire

Did not see that coming.
Some people claim the team nailed this short film, but it felt to me like a weak fan fiction. I refer to the writing! I am not against experience if this is a rookie studio, but the members of the audience claiming this is "great" (referring to quality filmmaking as a whole) are out of their minds. Although, the intention is what was great.

Well congrats, you made a movie better both in sound and picture quality and plot line than 90% of the stuff i dont have to use captions on. I am glad it had english captions cause even though not knowing the story it was a good movie, it was even better understanding the secondary, non predator plot.

Would have been a nice touch if they mentioned a Vril machine or die glocke
Respect to the producers but some things that let this down:
1. No English subtitles
2. Final fight with the lead NAZI too quick.
3. Soldier with the pistol wouldn't have waited to take the shot, felt a bit too comic.
Some constructive feedback would be that it could benefit from a slower pace with the soldiers hunting the girl then getting picked off by the Pred.

@@anthonystark3959 In the first film, Ana tells Dutch that the predator only appears in the hottest summers, which makes me infer that the predator would be a poikitermic species, which regulates body temperature with the environment and its activity depends on it, the idea that the predator was active in a very cold environment seems wrong to me.

LOL@ people complaining about the original predator movies, saying that this one is better etc..etc.. when it's all about someone else's take ON SOMEBODY ELSE'S IDEA! the same "Predator" sound effects and visual effects are used in this film... the only difference is the language and the time/setting being in the 1940's... Otherwise it's whatever.

This is really out there. They didn't even call it radar, by around 1942. It was RDF. They also wouldn't have talked about aliens from another planet. So, they tied in the original, "Predator" and Arnold's character to the fan film. Really interesting plot twist.
What are you talking about? Science fiction stories featuring aliens from outer space were already a well-established genre by the early 1930s. "War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells was published in 1898.

@@DamonDCow Historical tidbit: My late Father was a field technician for the US Army Air Corps (the predecessor for the USAF) back during the final 2 years of WWII. He mostly installed, calibrated and repaired the (then) top secret Norden Bombsight, and after the war spent most of his career (as an EE) in development programs for various radar systems, including "The Dew Line" warning system during the cold war era. I worked on a bunch of radars too in the 80's & 90's, but only as a software quality enginerd, not a hardware EE like my Dad.
I miss him terribly, and regret not having asked him more about the stuff he worked on back then. 😔
