I picked Horde because I played Horde back in the day during MOP and the first quest Garrosh gives you when he arrives is kill 25 Alliance. It just feels different (better). Voljin comes around and Garrosh calls him a frog kisser lmao.
and on the alliance side they gun down orcs fleeing from sinking ships and trying to surrender. BOTH sides were different in a good way compared to what it is now.

WoW is just not an interesting game to watch, that's why there isn't much buzz about it online outside of it's own community.

Watching Asmon go from someone that did high level content to constantly playing and achieving goals in WoW, to not being able to socket a gem in a piece of gear and less than 5 seconds after spawning into the game starts complaining about the game, is hard to see. I think he's just getting old and is no longer enjoying world of warcraft, not because of it's current state but because he's grown out of gaming overall and his channel reflects it.
He stopped enjoying it when he fell behind in achis. Thats all he played for his lasts 5 years of playing and he thinks bcause he doesnt enjoy the game its not possible other ppl can.
MOP was my first wow experience. I’d finished college and had finally a job so I could buy the game and pay the monthly sub. 12 years later I’m about to propose to the love of my life and still playing MoP.

I thought LOTRO was great. More simple than WOW, but very immersive and lovely to look at and explore.
Most "new" MMOs seem to be rehashing the old MMO style anyway so it seems destined to be a dying genre, or at least a stagnant one. The age of the big MMO has passed... they're hard to make and just don't have the same appeal that they used to. But like the other commenter said, I have fun going back to play older MMOs like Lord of the Rings Online and City of Heroes again, most of which are still getting updated at least in small ways.

100% Remix becomes a default Chromie option for leveling/collecting, and all the crazy stuff is disabled in endgame areas.

Retconing mop and wod is honestly a terrible idea. The thrall and garrosh story lines and some of the best that ever happened.
MoP is when the storytelling started to mature. Zack hates emotional depth. I agree the game needs way more testosterone than it currently has - Dragonflight was a tragedy for the tone of the game - but it’s okay to have reflect and have calm, introspective moments.

My problem with a complete reset is I don't want to lose all the shit I've earned over the years. All the mounts/pets/toys/mogs etc. If they can do a "reset" without me losing that, then fine.

Wod was not full digital, I still have a hard copy of it.
I agree with Asmon that Transmog shouldn't exist. I wish you could "archive" gear and be able to pull it out and wear it whenever you want, but it has no stats, and takes no bank space.

Last time I relapsed into retail, MOP was my first choice in leveling. I don’t know it if is the most efficient solo level experience, but the quests felt well placed and kind of interesting. Also one of the better areas in the game as far as aesthetics

I loved the characters and story of MOP, Dragonflights story sucks but everything else is pretty good.

Hi Asmon, the missing titles are probably because some of those are character specific. Grand Marshal it says, "A character-specific Alliance title. Rewarded from an achievement. In the PvP Titles category. Added in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm." so I guess whatever character probably your main that you had played in Cataclysm should still have it unless there's a weird add-on glitch with your interface I saw you had some trouble with that too.
How do people not realize that it has always been available to quest in pandaria still, just like this. Like the only difference here is the rewards.

Guild wars 2 has the best pvp of any mmo ive ever played and its not even close. Outside of pvp yea its very mid. If you love pvp its one of the best games ever though. Its casual friendly to try out the pvp for free and you jump right in after a quick tutorial. I highly recommend giving the pvp a try.
Retail WoW is only for M+ pushes and raids. It's depressing to play as a new player. I started with retail and lvl'd a few chars to max, had one that I did raids with and got some epic gear. I started playing Classic during the TBC launch and have consistently come back during the xpacs.

I haven't played WoW since 2013. Now I kinda miss it. Might have to dust off my Battlepass.
Mists was also my last expansion where I queued outside a store at midnight. I remember there was a lot less people than the Cata midnight launch.
The WoW subreddit has more player online right now than genshin impact.
You know, if they implement this for WoD it might actually not be a garbage expansion. Take everything in current WoW in place it into WoD and you have a pretty decent experience.

I think most people expected MoP everything. Personally it being retail gameplay kinda killed my interest. But hey maybe that means MoP classic will happen. MoP class design is still peak.
As for MoP itself I don't know why people get so hung up on the pandas. We already had cows and wolves. And it definitely isn't the start of carebear WoW. Some of the most brutal moments happened in MoP like literally gunning down unarmed horde who are just trying not to drown. The whole faction war aspect of the game was probably more brutal in MoP than in any other expansion. Kung fu panda has a lot to answer for when it comes to peoples perception of MoP despite the pandaren pre-dating it.

Tbf, that’s what a remix is, not a redo or remake. But you don’t get gems and what not through the usual time walking.
Timewalking wrath for example, which is ongoing as of this post, only involves dungeons and a raid.
Classic MOP might be a thing though.

I'm so confused as to what's the point of this, since there's Chromie in each major city to let you choose which area to quest in. It hasn't really changed much imo so it seems kinda pointless
