I find his songs during the last year or so of his life, so painful to listen to. His voice changed a lot. He doesn't have that deep richness we are use to hearing. Sounds frail in some ways being higher pitch. To know he was singing these songs, and that he was dying and would never hear their release makes me feel sick to my stomach. Absolutely breaks my heart. Can't help but cry.

This might sound silly to many but you know how people who have had a near death experience say they their life flashed before their eyes? While listening to this song (and all the songs on Innuendo written by Freddie), i feel like it's Freddie's life flashing before his eyes and he is expressing those moments (flashes) through music. I find his songs during the last year or so of his life, so painful to listen to. His voice changed a lot. He doesn't have that deep richness we are use to hearing. Sounds frail in some ways being higher pitch. To know he was singing these songs, and that he was dying and would never hear their release makes me feel sick to my stomach. Absolutely breaks my heart. Can't help but cry.

This might sound silly to many but you know how people who have had a near death experience say they their life flashed before their eyes? While listening to this song (and all the songs on Innuendo written by Freddie), i feel like it's Freddie's life flashing before his eyes and he is expressing those moments (flashes) through music. We get to go on a beautiful journey of this remarkable man's life - the good & the bad, the joys & sadness, the beautiful & ugly moments. Probably overthinking things LOL! But every time i think i cannot reach another level of amazement & awe for this sensational band and the music they gave us, i hear a song like this one.
