    Dear Annie,
Visiting Vietnam for years now, you are our big motivation to start learning the language now. You are a great teacher. Hope to meet you once in HCM.

Another way, you can say "hai mươi mốt" by "hai mốt", "hai mươi hai" by "hai hai", "hai mươi ba" by "hai ba"...ok? It's the way Vietnamese often use.

Annie or anyone....how do I say year in vietnamese. For example year 2018. Is it "nam hai khong muoi tam"?

Thanks, Annie. I was wondering why people were changing up the vocab here in Vietnam. They seem to say "chuc" quite often.
Speaking of "chuc", in your practice lesson from 11-99, can we interchange "muoi" with "chuc"?
Also, for 11-19, can we interchange "muoi" with "chuc"?

you can only use "chục" in numbers 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90. i don't know the english word for this kind of number, but you only use "chục" for these 8 numbers (ending with a 0) and nothing else.

It would be awkward, it's only for integers of 0.
