Well, there's a reason that quote about "crying out while striking you" resonates a lot... Had a lifelong friend who eventually came out as trans a few years ago. We mentioned Hogwarts Legacy and he asked if we were really playing it. I said, yeah it looks like a pretty good game. He then deleted his account and unfriended and ghosted everyone in our friend group. This whole situation is completely absurd to say the least.
I rarely heard from my cousin for quite some time. Though the last chat we had they were a bit touchy on a couple things. Though they have been extra quiet since the game released.

They aren’t aware enough for that level of introspection yet, so they deem someone the devil, and their opposition to this devil makes them feel justified in their hate. This justification further removes them from the need of introspection and emboldens the extremity of their hate. No act is too vile if it serves the cause.

Well, the charities themselves have done so. The most famous recent example was when PronHub donated to breast-cancer research and the misandrist board of directors for Susan G Komen rejected the enormous amount of money because they didn't want donations from people who "objectify women." This is a really curious cluster of mental illness. The rage is so incredibly misdirected and artificially exacerbated.
It reminds me of when a child throws a temper tantrum because their sibling accidentally moved their toy. The moving of the toy wasn’t a big deal; the child had so much pent up frustration against their sibling that they were just waiting to lash out and explode on them.

This justification further removes them from the need of introspection and emboldens the extremity of their hate. No act is too vile if it serves the cause.

I hate the “tax write off” excuse. Like the people that benefit from money going to charities aren’t going to turn it back and go “This money was given to your organization as a tax right off, and I don’t want the support if it wasn’t given for genuine reasons”

You'd be dumb to turn down a donation, the problem is that companies get praised for an act that's purely motivated by greed and social standing.
It's not like those - I hesitate to call them people - are intelligent enough to know the difference between donating to a charity and donating to a "charity" that you happen to own.
Well, the charities themselves have done so. The most famous recent example was when PronHub donated to breast-cancer research and the misandrist board of directors for Susan G Komen rejected the enormous amount of money because they didn't want donations from people who "objectify women." I recall vaguely that there were numerous other occasions, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. It's quite literally virtue signaling atop the corpses of others who could have been saved with that money.
Let's also not forget that some of those charities tend to pocket more than their fair share of what they collect. Wouldn't be surprised if most of them are scams (Cure for Cancer).
