When I played the visual novel, I thought this path have made Shirou into kind of wuss, not showing his full potential of projection. But now I wonder... in UBW his power had limits, or in HF it was destoying him. But in "Fate" he made best projection ever - Avalon, ultimate Noble Phantasm of defense, beating even almighty Ea, and capable of dispelling Angra Manyu, which was capable of corrupting a heroic spirit like Saber, plus with no limits, or negative effects on Shirou.
Shirou had a conection with Excalibur since Young, becuz Kiritsugu put Avalon inside him with magic, so basically it's the only sword shirou can reproduce with the same strengh as the original.
I'm thinking Fate Kotomine was caught off-guard by Avalon and killed before he could recover. Or that's the explanation anyways, obviously Fate Kotomine was just made this way to hide his true ability for HF surprises (interesting how things are sprinkled into the story, is it not? No two things are really revealed in two paths, and foci of other stories are intentionally kept hidden in the earlier paths).
GradationAir Ufotable almost fucked up ubw for me, I didn't get exhausted and so focused like i did when reading the novel, they need to improve on making key scenes more memorable and intense like they did in Fate/Zero, maybe their director is a newbie, unlike in fate/Zero?
@Antonio David Just because he can't spam swords like ubw shirou or have Archer's arm like Hf one doesn't mean he is "weak". Calliburn is really strong sword even as a projection and Fate shirou is the only one who can make it.
@@darthportus Even so, Fate Shirou is the weakest. UBW Shirou got pretty strong by interacting with his future self, and HF Shirou is basically a demi-servant.
Ahhhhhh that clarifies things. Now that You mention it, I've never thought of projecting the Avalon doing damage to Shirou... well in VN, he didn't thought of that as painful procedure, nor was showing much sings of fatigue after battle, as opposed to utterly painful and tiring UBW, or NLBW, instead he was rather delighted, with how easily he can project it, with no real preparation needed, as he was projecting a part of himself (this video shows it:) ).
Yasuri Kyotōryū I know, right? If there ever is an English localization, Morgan Freeman should narrate whatever isn't narrated by a character's thoughts.
The end of the Shirou/Kotomine fight is SO much better with the new CGs. The one original CG did not do it justice. It felt like they only really cared about Saber's fight.
Somehow I think relation to Shirou and EMIYA is much more symbolic, like EMIYA is a embodiment of Shirou's ideals, thus he is implemented with his knowledge, experieces and memories, but he does not understand it's purpose. So my guess is that Archer is more of a phenomena, that Counter Guardian. let alone true Heroic Spirit (much like Assassin, which was summoned by Caster, who claimed to be embodiment of person who never existed in reality, but did existed in imagination of people).
I always wondered that too. Fate Kotomine did not use melee combat as much as HF Kotomine. I wish he would have at least used fought Shirou hand to hand. Then again, Avalon is strong enough to block Enuma Elish, so Kotomine did not stand a chance once it was active.
Kotomine in Fate did go hand to hand it was just against Tohsaka, when he kidnapped Ilya. But Kirei himself mentions that due to his peaceful existence he has dulled, in HF you have him learning about his impending death and lack of servant, pulling him back to his time in the 4th war. He goes back to the version of himself where he didn't have a servant and had to fight for his wishes hand to hand with blood and fist.

Probably because compared to the other 2 routes it’s kind of boring. It has a few good moments but there’s a lot of boring exposition dumps and the only character who gets any meaningful screentime is saber (which gives her a lot of really good development, but the rest of the cast being kinda bland in the route as a consequence hurts quite a bit)
@@Morgan-tb5xn Because a lot of people go into the Fate route with super high expectations lmao. A lot of people who play the VN now already watched UBW's anime. If you played the VN completely blind, the Fate route is just as good as the other two. I didn't mind the expositions because it was interesting and because that was genuinely the first time I'm knowing about Fate lore. The sequence of the 3 routes were perfect, by each route, it raises the bar. If you went from the UBW anime/HF movies, then Fate route, then obviously you would find the 1st route to be boring compared to those two lol.
lol, yes it is. And well, he got Good at it. It's debatable whether his skill in Projection is better in Fate, UBW and HF, but like you've said in UBW and HF, it was Archer's knowledge that was "Projected" to him, while in Fate it was just his words and foundations that led him to succeed. Of course, in HF and Fate he let his dreams/intuition shape his projections, but in UBW, he was just copying Archer. With some exceptions.(Clearly, Shirou and EMIYA are different people, with similar Ideas)
Oh yeah, no doubt. "Yandere Akiha" was freaking me out the most. Even Heaven's Feel seemed like child's cartoon, compared to WTF-ckery and psychological gore in Tsukihime. I generally avoid comparing F/SN and Tsukihime, they are both great stories on their own right.
The weirdness of it all. The song everyone associates with Archer was never used for Archer in the VN. It was always used for Shirou's climactic battles.
@@herivelton1973 Honestly yeah, as a mage his Reality Marble is a cheat, and his stealing the knowledge from his Servant self is double cheating since he basically pilfered knowledge of weapons Archer acquired through his life as a Heroic Spirit. The one thing HF Shirou has over UBW Shirou is the body and reflexes of a Servant, but lacking the ability to unleash his Reality Marble actually diminishes his potential. This however is only when it comes to comparing their state during the war itself. After the war they establish that Shirou is quite capable of using Unlimited Blade Works and does in fact remember the knowledge he pilfered from Archer's arm. So in term of skills post-Grail War both Shirou's are fairly similar and the HF Shirou even has the advantage of a permanent supply of extra mana (though it comes with the disadvatange of a lower fuel tank due to his imperfect new body).
@@herivelton1973 UBW is honestly only very useful against Gilgamesh or anyone who spams swords like he did. As Emiya said, unlimited amount of swords won't help him to defeat anyone who mastered one sword.
My thought's have always been "Who the hell came up with this?"...I usually blame depression but some people just have awesome raging in the minds.( or insanity, have you read Tsukihime, ALL of the most messed up moments in F/SN pale in comparison to the Far-Side route(Hisui,Kohaku and Akiha)
Hmmm... really? I don't remember Shirou, nor Tohsaka saying there are some after effects of Angra Manyu on him (like his adoptive father, Kiritsugu had), in Fate's epilogue. But, I won't argue, you may be actually right, I don't follow the whole thing so dilligently, to be one talking.
Yeah, you're right. Wiki is a handy thing, but what I meant by saying "beyond me" is that I cannot compehend what sort of infernal wars must be waged inside the minds of creators of these things. Sometimes, even when I find an explanation on wiki, my only conclusion is "What the hell am I reading?!".
Wait, you seem to have misunderstood me, Angra Manyu didn't do anything to him because of Avalon, however is that fact that he "Projected" Avalon in the first place that will cause him long term damage. Magic beyond one's capabilities will cripple a magi, true Shirou had the ME in Fate cause of ahem the "Mana Transfer Ritual" but projecting NB(and surviving) is still considered almost impossible but, meh Shirou's the kind of person who "doesn't die when they are killed".
Powerlevel objectively speaking, only Heaven's Feel Shirou stands a chance against servants. UBW Shirou has more experience due to extended interaction with Archer. That leaves Fate Shirou the weakest of the three.
they have different strengths fate shirou can more perfectly project caliburn and avalon due to his link to saber, UBW shirou has the reality marble and battle experience extracted from his interactions with archer and HF shirou has the direct link archers abilities and stats through the arm.
Fate Shirou, at the moment of reach Avalon, is the strongest human being incarnation of the three. Even UBWShirou at his prime is a joke for him. HF Shirou doesn't count, because he has servant stats.
While Fate is my favourite route, Saber and Shirou both relied too much on luck. In Shirou’s case him projecting Avalon and escaping the grail shocked Kotomine long enough that he was able to land a decisive hit and the same with Saber utilising Avalon to block an otherwise unblockable attack from Ea stunning Gilgamesh long enough that she was able to hit him with an empowered Excalibur. The duo relied way too much on luck and while I really like this route I really wish they did something different
Shirou didn't defeat kirei in hand to hand, she was launched with the "speed of a shooting star" thanks to avalon. Saber defeated EA bc avalon is also an EX rank NP, the "absolute defense".
Steven Chico Not at all. Ea has absolutely no chance of penetrating through Avalon. Hell, not even Ea x10 would be able to. Avalon cannot be penetrated even by True Magic. Ea is nothing to it.
Steven Chico It’s so hilarious that you try to call me a newbie when you don’t even understand what Nasuverse Magic is and attribute everything to “power”. I really hope your comment was a parody, because otherwise you just embarrassed yourself in an immense way. First of all, you say that most NPs are equal to or exceed Magic. Since when? This is just the start and you already came up with one of your craziest and most unbiased assumptions. There’s a reason there’s so much emphasis on Avalon being a Magic in itself and being able to protect even against the Five Magics. If most NPs were equal, or as you say, “exceeding” them, then Avalon being a Magic and being able to protect against them wouldn’t make it special in any way. And yet that’s not the case. Sorry dude, but aside from Avalon, there’s no NP that reaches the level of Magic. Tsubame Gaeshi, as a technique, can barely do a minimal fraction of the capacities of the Second Magic, and just for that it is considered utterly ridiculous and that it “surpasses Servants”. Your claim that NPs are equal or exceeding Magic is so unfounded it’s troll-like, but your next point at least clarifies where you got everything so wrong. Second, you completely fail to understand what the Nasuverse means when saying that Magic was commonplace in the times of Medea and such. Magic, in the Nasuverse, is any phenomenon that cannot be reproduced by science in any way during a given era. The reason “Magic” was commonplace in times such as the Age of Gods is because science was much less advanced back then, and people got by through magecraft because the world was well-suited to it at the time. As the Age of Gods passed and humans lost the ability to enact such levels of Mystery, they relied on science to further advance and eventually could replicate effects that were previously only possible through magecraft. As such, the “Magic” of the past because the “Magecraft” of the present, because such effects could now be produced by science. The Five Magics are superior to anything Medea and other sorcerers from the Age of Gods can do precisely because they are in the Age of Man, they are phenomena that still cannot be reproduced by science despite the fact that science in the Age of Man is way more advanced than in the past. Newer Magic is not weaker than old Magic in the slightest, if anything, any new Magic becomes more ridiculous than the last by definition, as it has to be increasingly improbable effects because the advance of science steadily covers more and more phenomena. Try to know properly of the Nasuverse before trying to call someone a “newbie”. It’s also funny that you try to say the current Magics are inferior, considering the Second Magic is what defeated Type-Moon, an Ultimate One and a being vastly superior to anything Gilgamesh can do. Third, you say that Avalon is less powerful than Ea because it can be replicated, and that Ea cannot be replicated due to its “power”. Nice DBZ logic there! “Power” has nothing to do with whether a weapon can be replicated by Unlimited Blade Works, and you only sound like a seven-year-old fanboy by repeating such a cringeworthy thing. First of all, this is disproven as Nasu started that UBW cannot replicate Divine Constructs under normal circumstances (he never mentioned any stupid “power” thing), but that he can still replicate weapons of similar ability. This alone proves you wrong, and makes your whole “newbie” comment even more hilarious in hindsight, as you don’t even know the reasons explained by the author himself and try to pass off your childish fantasy as the truth. As said by Nasu, Shirou can still find weapons of similar ability to Excalibur and Ea within UBW, and the reason he cannot replicate them is because they are Divine Contructs. They are made by a manufacturing process completely alien to UBW, and thus are incompatible. Avalon being an exception because it was fused with Shirou for years and is the reason for why his Elemental Affinity changed to “Sword”, making UBW possible. It has nothing to do with “power”. Fourth, you don’t even know Enkidu’s abilities. First of all, Enkidu is only supported by Gaia’s Counter Force, as his ability works against those who cause damage to the planet. His ability has nothing to do with humanity, so he has no support from Alaya’s Counter Force. Third, Enkidu never uses the full power of Gaia’s Counter Force. Those must be some good drugs you’re on. Enkidu gains additional power in proportion to how much the opponent has damaged the planet, but the amount he acquires has never reached the full output of Gaia’s Counter Force. Not even close. Your claim doesn’t even make logical sense, as Lancer Enkidu cannot defeat even one Grand Servant container, who is not even close to the full extent of Alaya’s Counter Force. And yet you’re gonna say such a thing is the full extent of Gaia’s? You’re not even thinking critically. Fifth, now you’re conflating the Noble Phantasm Avalon with the island Avalon. This is just sad now. First of all, reaching the island of Avalon is not nearly the same thing as penetrating through the Noble Phantasm. I don’t even know what to say to you considering such a ridiculous thing you said. The Noble Phantasm Avalon specifically activates as an isolation-type defense that functions remotely from the actual land of Avalon, and thus it shuts out all external interference. What Merlin did was step land due to being in the actual location. They are not remotely the same thing. Also, that Merlin penetrates Avalon with ease? Even without accounting for the difference between the Noble Phantasm and actually being in the land, Merlin is trapped in Avalon. The most he himself can do is make a remote projection through his magecraft. Sixth, the Moon Cell video games have so many contradictory things that trying to bring them up to back up your claims is laughable at best. Hell, they don’t only contradict the actual canon, but ithey contradict themselves as well. In fact, since you wanna mention the Moon Cell, need I remind you that in Extella Karna defeated Gilgamesh without even having to use Vasavi Shakti? Because that pretty much destroys all your Gilgamesh wanking. Seventh... this is one of the worst ones yet. Ea doesn’t have any “reality warping” powers. Stop taking so many drugs. Ea’s function is to use immensely accelerated and compressed wind pressure to create a pseudo-dislocation of space-time (the “pseudo” is a key word here) that causes great amounts of damage to the opponent. At its root, Ea is just a “hit extremely hard” weapon, which is what makes it able to clash with Excalibur, which is simply magical energy converted into light that delivers high amounts of heat. You just have to read Ea’s description in the Visual Novel’s status page to know this, and know it has no “reality warping”. Your wanking of Gilgamesh is reaching such unhealthy levels. Hell, the status page is not even needed. If Ea had any “reality warping” then it wouldn’t be able to clash with Excalibur’s blast, which is a completely physical thing as heat. And this is also the reason why Ea has no possibility of getting through Avalon. Avalon essentially shields Artoria by “transporting” her to a completely different place. Ea, as powerful as it is, is just an attack with enormous amounts of force. It won’t do anything if it misses, it has to land to be able to deal its damage, and with Avalon active, no attack can land on Artoria as she’s essentially in another place. It’s so funny in retrospect how you try to say I know nothing of the Nasuverse, when almost every single point you brought up can be disproven by reading two seconds on the type-moon wiki. Let alone the fact that you wank Gilgamesh to no end, which is the mark of a crappy secondary.
@Steven Chico Reply late? Under what basis? Now tell me, do you think people around the world live in the same time zone as you? Or do you think they can spend all the time they want in hobbies such as youtube? Whichever of the two you're guilty of, it's actually sad. 1. You straight up lied on the Enkidu thing, lol. knkdictionary.pbworks.com/w/page/91781184/Fate%20Stange%20Fake%20Gilgamesh%20VS%20Enkidu Here's the clash of Gilgamesh of Enkidu, and it never says "all the magical energy from the planet". Hell, perhaps I didn't even need to link you stuff, because Enkidu using "all" the magical energy from the planet doesn't even make sense. Doing such a thing would kill the planet and turn its "Notes." state. And yet that never happened. Not even a nice try, as it only took two seconds of research to disprove it. 2. I already explained to you how the Five Magics being acquired in the Age of Man is irrelevant at best for you, and at worst, it helps their strength and abilities. So much for reading what I said, right? And Archer never said Medea can use Magic, lmao. Her abilities have only been said to be "close" to Magic, and even Nasu said she's incompatible with the Five Magics of the current day and would be unable to use them. Medea's "Magic" is only what was considered as "Magic" in her time, in which science was not advanced at all. What truly makes her deadly is the fact she doesn't rely on Magic Circuits like modern magi, as her Divine Words act upon the mana in the environment on their own to produce spells, but she is still a magus and not a magician. 3. Funny how you completely ignored my proof for why the Moon Cell video games are contradictory and useless for the sake of discussion. And then you talk about bias? Give me a break. Once again, Extella had Karna defeating Gilgamesh without even having to use Vasavi Shakti. Or another, the Moon Cell video games say that Gilgamesh is "too powerful to be summoned in a class container", never mind the fact all the times he has been summoned as Archer or when he's summoned by Caster by Chaldea. The Moon Cell games are not a reliable source for any consistent or true information, as they lack consistency even among themselves. Also, it's "whether you like it or not", not "where". 4. Using faggot as an insult? Man, you really should go back to the 90s, where you belong. That aside, does him being late in understanding Magic take away from the fact it defeated him? You think you can kill an elephant with a toothpick if it doesn't understand it? The Second Magic is a Mystery at least reaching the league of Brunestud as it was able to destroy him, regardless of him understanding it or not. A measly average Noble Phantasm wouldn't be able to do such a thing, which is another nail in the coffin of your unfounded assumptions. Also, how is Zelretch getting his blood sucked relevant? He still won. Getting his blood sucked is utterly irrelevant, lmao. 5. That I invented Excalibur converting magical energy into heat? Then how about you read character material for once. This is from Caliburn "Although inferior to Excalibur, this holy sword *also converts the magic energy of the owner into heat value*, releasing it as particles of light. " This straight up confirms what I said and proves you wrong. Caliburn has the same function as Excalibur but at a lesser extent, and that function is to convert the magical energy of the user into heat. Try harder on your next lying attempt, lol. 6. How is Ea surpassing Excalibur relevant? My point is not Excalibur being as strong as it, which it's obviously not. But nice work trying to turn this into another childish point about "POWEEEEEEER". You would do well in the Dragon Ball fandom. My point is that they were able to clash, which means they are two things that can physically interact between each other. If Ea was some "reality warping" thing like you try to say it is, then Excalibur wouldn't be able to clash with it and viceversa. Also, Gilgamesh wasn't being sustained due to the orphans in the church's basement lmao. You don't even know about Gilgamesh himself? Gilgamesh was incarnated by the Grail at the end of the Fourth Holy Grail war, and thus he could remain materialized without a Master perfectly. He himself stated the orphans were completely unnecessary and were only used because of Kirei's boner for suffering. Gilgamesh wasn't weakened any further than when he had Kirei as a Master. Also, the orphans are not dead, lol. So you're wrong even with the statement of "the dead corpses of the children". 7. Ea wasn't changed at all in the switch to new material. Want some proof of it? Here's Ea's description from the Grand Order material "The creation of a spatial severance (空間切断, kuukan setsudan?) by the Sword of Separation (乖離剣, Kairi Ken?), Ea. Compressed (圧縮され, ashuku-sare?), intertwined (絡み合う, karami-au?) stratifications (断層, dansou?) of wind (風圧, fuuatsu?, lit. "wind pressure") become as a virtual (擬似的な, gijiteki-na?, lit. "quasi-, pseudo-, virtual") dislocation of space-time (時空断層, jikuu dansou?, lit. "space-time stratification / fault / dislocation"), annihilating any who would stand in opposition." All of it falling in line with what I said, lol. Almost to the letter. Wind pressure is compressed and accelerated to the extent it creates a pseudo-dislocation of space-time, delivering immense damage to the opponent. No "reality warping" stupidity there. 8. Avalon is no fragment of the land of Avalon, dude. Lay down on the drugs. Such a thing has never EVER been stated or even hinted. The Noble Phantasm Avalon is an absolute defense that shields the opponent by isolating them in the land of Avalon, it's not a fragment of it. Where did you even take that from? 9. Merlin didn't reach Avalon forcefully nor by his own will. Hell, he was even trapped there, lmao. And the only reason he was even able to get away from it in some measure was explicitly because of Goetia's incineration: Yeah. Seeing as the World's been reduced to a tabula rasa (白紙状態, Hakushi Joutai?, lit. "state of being white paper") by the Incineration of the Common Sense of Man (人理焼却, Jinri Shoukyaku?), I was able to sneak here by way of the Faerielands (妖精郷, Yousei-Kyou?)! By now you're just constantly making stuff up. And that's the difference between you and me. I use official material devoid of contradictions to back up my claims, while you use flawed, contradictory material at best, and make stuff up at your worst. Actually no, at your worst, you unironically use "XD" in the year 2019. I had thought that there was nothing more cringeworthy than dabbing in 2019, but having found someone who still uses "XD" I stand regrettably corrected. 10. I never said Tsubame Gaeshi can replicate something similar to the Second Magic, dude. Learn to read. I explicitly said he can do a measly tiny fraction of it, which is the Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon, and yet it's still considered something insane. For doing what amounts to nothing more than a hint of what the Second Magic is. It's not something "similar", it's literally just a tiny fraction of it. 11. Gilgamesh DID use Ea at its full output against Avalon. He straight up, directly stated "All right. *I will not hold back* in that case.". The Ea in Fate Zero didn't destroy any world. Just read the material, lmao. Fate Zero explicitly states that the reasons Iskandar's Reality Marble collapsed was because it is maintained by the collective army of Iskandar, and since Ea destroyed half of that army, it could not be maintained anymore. Don't believe me? Then check it yourself in Fate Zero Volume 4, Act 16, Part 4. You can read it yourself there. And once again, Ea doesn't have any "reality distortion" abilities. Not even in new material. As was pasted in the Grand Order material above, Ea creates a pseudo-dislocation of space-time through massive amounts of compressed and accelerated wind pressure. No "reality distortion" stupidity. 12. You cannot even understand why I brought up Dragon Ball here? Are you actually legit braindead? The reason I mentioned Dragon Ball is because you try to justify your positions with stupidity such as "POWEEEEEEER" as if that's what decides how the universe works. For example, you think that enough power can allow you to get past straight up isolation, or that Shirou cannot project weapons due to their power, and so on. Dragon Ball works under that logic, in which just having a large amount of power will eventually make you exempt from abilities that are known as "hax" among certain people, abilities that specifically work in ways that do not take power into account. The fact that you couldn't understand this even when it was so obvious at least makes it clear why you like your "POWEEEEEEER" so much. A childish outlook on things goes hand in hand with lack of critical thinking after all. 13. Learn what a secondary is, because you clearly don't know it. And I already showed you according to new material (newer than Extra CCC and newer than Strange Fake), that your supposed "devours space-time", "distorts reality" Ea is nothing but a fantasy. All Ea does, even according to your beloved new material, is a pseudo-dislocation of space-time through wind pressure. And the old material doesn't support anything to say that Ea can penetrate Avalon. Once again, right before using Ea against it, Gilgamesh explicitly stated he wouldn't hold back. Official material counters you on all fronts, which is no wonder considering your intellectual dishonesty, as well as your lack of critical thinking and reading comprehension.
Well, it's not like I'm being any different (lol). Neither have I any claims to support this, nor do I give much credence to it myself (double lol). Nasuverse is like Forgotten Realms - beyond me (triple lol).

Though yes, he was underestimating him in this route but can he kill him with Avalon activated? There's no way Kotomine can even touch him when Avalon is activated. It IS the strongest defense Noble Phantasm that can even repel the Five Magics.

I didn't mind the expositions because it was interesting and because that was genuinely the first time I'm knowing about Fate lore. The sequence of the 3 routes were perfect, by each route, it raises the bar. If you went from the UBW anime/HF movies, then Fate route, then obviously you would find the 1st route to be boring compared to those two lol.
wait wth i don't remember shiour putting that much energy into his voice goddamn he sounds so cool
lol, yes it is.
Emiya, at the moment that Avalon is activated, can't be damaged even by HFShirou, and just has to wait that Archer's arm kill him.
@@herivelton1973 "having unlimited number of swords is nothing against opponent who mastered just one"
@@herivelton1973 UBW is honestly only very useful against Gilgamesh or anyone who spams swords like he did. As Emiya said, unlimited amount of swords won't help him to defeat anyone who mastered one sword.
@@davidashton3671 he was talking about himself (Shirou), the ubw with EMIYA is as good as GoB
It didn't negate long term internal damage(Nothing short term happened cause he had Avalon, and when he didn't he was already good at Projection)

Kotomine:
"HA! GOOD TRY, BUT THAT'S *MY* NA-"
*(stabbing noise)*
Hmmm...
Frigidmoon he's the only one who can perfectly project Avalon and near perfectly caliburn
they have different strengths fate shirou can more perfectly project caliburn and avalon due to his link to saber, UBW shirou has the reality marble and battle experience extracted from his interactions with archer and HF shirou has the direct link archers abilities and stats through the arm.
Fate Shirou, at the moment of reach Avalon, is the strongest human being incarnation of the three. Even UBWShirou at his prime is a joke for him.
HF Shirou doesn't count, because he has servant stats.
Funny enough how heaven's feel shirou is the most human out of all shirou in every route (except miyu verse shirou)
And the only reason he was even able to get away from it in some measure was explicitly because of Goetia's incineration:
Yeah.
@Steven Chico Avalon is an absolute defense. As far as we know in regards to its power, nothing can penetrate it. Anything else is speculation.
Well, it's not like I'm being any different (lol). Neither have I any claims to support this, nor do I give much credence to it myself (double lol). Nasuverse is like Forgotten Realms - beyond me (triple lol).

KOTOMINEEE KIREIIIIII
Kirei loses because he just understimated Shirou. He can kill him with just one punch to the head.
Though yes, he was underestimating him in this route but can he kill him with Avalon activated?
There's no way Kotomine can even touch him when Avalon is activated. It IS the strongest defense Noble Phantasm that can even repel the Five Magics.
More like they're saving his true worth for hf
More like Nasu had a stroke and forgot that kirei was straight up superhuman.
@@henicklee1736 Oh I know he wouldn't be able to do anything back either. My point being I'm unsatisfied with how the fight ended more so the actual result.
@@r.k845 I mean he was just shocked in this scene to see that Shirou overcame the grail mud. So he was just too shocked to react instantly and that was enough for Shirou to stab him.

for some reason Fate kotomine wasn't trying very hard.
Fate Kotomine wasn't fighting seriously. He thinks that Shirou doesn't deserve it.
@@ApoloAbel Not like it would matter anyway. By the time Avalon was activated, there was nothing he could do to Shirou.
