The thing I was the most excited about getting? It arrives tomorrow, actually :) I've wanted a wandering spider for more than a decade. I've been slowly moving up the hot scale with my inverts in that time, most recently with my deathstalkers and fat tails. I've also worked a lot with huntsman spiders to get used to the speed. I finally settled on a tiger wanderer and picked it up with a few other goodies that are in transport as I type. I'm so excited to unpack tomorrow!!!

The first experience I had with these was a specimen at a friends house who was a FWC agent who confiscated a bunch and one went to his house instead of evidence. since have lost contact but for the ten years we knew eachother this thing thrived In an aquarium with about an inch of still water and half a cinderblock in the middle used as a dry spot. THESE ARE EXTREMELY HARDY ANIMALS. Oh and there was no temperature control whatsoever.
