9:19 A quicker way of this is to tick clipping on the mirror modifier allowing you to move them all at once to the centre and creating a neat straight merge. Great video!
Your help is always welcome ty. Sometimes these little things slip through the cracks. Sometimes its nice to show some errors and how to fix. Glad to see your paying attention 👌
I had a lot of trouble with the Empty and the Array Modifier (being a noob). If this helps anyone - make sure that your 3D Cursor is at World Origin, AND your object Origin is also at World Origin. Make sure that you put the Empty in at World Origin, and DO NOT re-size the Empty. Re-sizing the empty makes your object smaller lol. Cheers for the tut :)
hello, when i go ahead and add the boolean to my wheel nuts, it create overlapping issues, its like there is a wheel nut duplicated when i try to apply that effect any help ?
Kind of. Its very heavy on cpu’s and the audience/demographic dont have the hardware so theres nobody to watch said vids. Its not something that can be “auto smoothed” you have to just keep cranking up the subdivisions. This kains the CPU. Its a VERY slow game. Everything is soo slow! This probably will be the next direction for the channel. I just need to finish my current projects etc. I tend todo TH-cam vids in the winter when i hibernate lol. Stay tuned. Thanks for your interest. Keeps me plodding along
@@walejaw3d still the same outcome. only that with the scale the sizes are now same. but the arrays are making a spiral shape Edit : It worked ,the problem was that the origin of object was not the same as the 3d cursor
i noticed around the 2:04 and 2:06ish mark, you completely cutout the vertices being added and i was trying to follow along, step by step and i have no idea how to add vertices in and it seems like nobody in the youtube world shows how to do that.

Very cool! Thanks!
14:00 Better than merging vertex one by one is just increase "merge distance", first in mirror and later in array modifier ;)

I don't understand the part between 2:00 and 2:02... how do you select the specific spoke?
Awesome, how about the workflow for 3d printing stuff? is it a bit different process?

HEY WALEJAW!
when I apply the array modifier as you said it makes the arrays in different directions with different sizes
Make sure u apply scale, location, scale with ctrl a
@@walejaw3d I'll surely try this that and let you know

@chiragveer6561 well done dood. This is a big lesson to overcome. Most issues reside with these same problems. Origins and scales.

Press K for the knife tool. Click and cut were u want those verts to go. Once placed press enter to confirm cut. Hope this helps
@@walejaw3d it did, thank you so much yo, holy crap!
Instead of using images as a plane, why not just import them as a reference allowing you to view the image in solid mode?
Habits die hard. Just drag and drop the image into blender, i know i know. You only need it for 2 seconds of modelling so i let it be.
