Hi John, I'm sitting in Sweden and tuned in for any beginner tuts for wheels! Excellent job explaining and far from easy when you're trying to create too. Call me impressed, you certainly were proficient with your process. I can understand why, yet seemed to encompass many of the basics that we all need to learn first. When you showed the wrong way to do it, I kind of got missled by at what point it was back on track. Maybe it would have been better leaving out those issues, as we would not understand anyway! I will also repeat how great it was to hear you explain why you were doing each step prior to taking them. My hats off, I will follow, yet hope that you might be up for a few more tutorials for beginners? Thank you John 😊 have a warm I'm as.
Best rim tutorial, I was about to finish my perfect chrome rim with a shelf... but something went wrong with my laptop, and I saved FBX with the front side only. No need to explain how painful it was to finish the inner side, with a complicated shape and no more "Mirror", and it's still ugly, but ok for the game... Lesson learned, regular save blend file (I hope it would help).
