I love Judo, and i got also self-defence at school (1hour/week). Wich is not enough in my opinion. Now I learned the Kesa-Gatame, Gata-Gatame and the Tateshiho. Great Moves :D I'm one of the best in my class, And the most of them fear me :/ So sometimes I don't have a partner ^^ However it is hard for me to fight with a person that is 10-20kg heavier, any suggestions that i can use to fight a person that is heavier then me but net better with the techniques? (Sorry for my english :P)
@kazeutabudokai Ok thx for the tip. And do you have any vids where i can learn to escape from an strangle ? I won a few matches in school with that but also lost e few. And we didn't learn any throwing techniques yet, we just learned ground fighting. Thx for the tips, great vids ;)
'Yo koshiho' 'Ta teshiho' This is almost as bad as when i heard someone say 't sue-ri-comb-mi goa-she' or someone else saying 'my jee restoration' Japanese is said as its spelt. They have no emphasis on any specific syllable, and all sounds are grouped into syllables. It's a minor nit pick but it really puts me off. It seems to only be americans who butcher the pronounciation to such a degree 'Yo-ko shi-ho' 'Ta-te shi-ho'
I like your judo instruction and will practise this escape in my class. Thanks!
